Enough with the blanket statements, subjective opinions, and logical fallacies. Seasons keep the player base coming back for more instead of waiting for the next xpac, that is empirically true. It is also true that seasonal exclusive loot is an incentive to play seasonal characters, otherwise what is the point if both seasonal and non have the same loot tables? People would just play NS and burn out. Like it or not, seasonal/ladder play has been an important part of Diablo since D2 1.08, and if you don't grasp that idea then it begs the question in regards to how long you've been playing, Without seasons you also have lower incentives for the devs to create new content as well.
I'll make a blanket statement of my own:
The only folks who want seasonal play removed are the ones who are too lazy to level from scratch, and too impatient to give up their OP geared out NS characters. Seasonal play and it's rewards keep the game fresh, and players logging in. Don't like it? Well stop being lazy and level up with a leafed character, or just chill out. Seasonal rewards over NS is just going to keep expanding, because the devs know it's what keeps people playing.
I'm rather sure that 270 people is not the sum total playing but rather those are your server. lack of critical thinking on the OP it seems. Oh, and seasons are awesome and I don't even compete on the leaderboards. It's nice to start fresh, get the new drops, and enjoy the grind again. Don't like it? Cool. Subjective reality is never objective truth however, be careful.
Thought this thread was gonna be about the Act IV curse debuffs.
Me too but i was happy to see someone else with the same query as myself. Some kind of highlight in the manner of the videos would be great at times, especially as melee.
Maybe I'm just Google stupid, but when I saw these videos I wondered the same thing myself. I found no such way to override the in game cursor in such a manner.
I don't see how this is much different than the feel of the WD class. I'd see Druids are more likely than a Necro (we have WD), or Amazons (We have DH), or Assassins (We have monks and DH).
