posted a message on need good build for witch doctor level 57 inferno
I have almost the same build except I am between the Poison Dart with Splinters or Flaming. Not sure which one is better, the 120% for the splinter is great and with increased attack speed this looks like a machine gun. The flaming dart, although slower, does give you 160% (If I remember correctly) but it is slower.

    Do you recommend these?

Can't wait for that to happen. This 20 mil for an iLvL 60 item is just unnecessary. It isn't something that is horribly crippling since it will eventually plateau but it doesn't mean that I want to wait until the idiots stop using the GAH incorrectly so that players that understand the game, and what BiS is all about, can progress through the game without having to spend 172 mil to be able to progress through Act 2 Inferno.

posted a message on To all the complainers and whiners
There are a lot of complains and I think all of them can be worth looking at. I agree somewhat with the OP on this one. Yes, Inferno is difficult. I even found certain parts of Hell difficult with my WD. But by taking my time with the elite mobs and bosses I was able to see patterns and ways to exploit those patterns to defeat enemies that could easily kill me on a one-on-one fight. I feel that there are some players complaining that they are bored because they have finished everything they felt they could do in the game and others that find it too difficult to progress.

To the OP though, I don't think Blizz decided to nerf end game because of the handful of players complaining on a couple of forums. They claim to have statistics showing that many players can't progress through certain areas of the game. If it's true that they have this data, and there is no reason to doubt them at the moment, then I wager that they made the change to Acts II - IV Inferno based on that. There are as many people complaining about how hard Inferno is as there are people that have completed it. These players are the outliers of the whole community and Blizz has to try and please the largest group of people...this insures revenue and (hopefully) more years of great Blizzard games.

posted a message on Question about the RMAH
I've been seeing a lot of heat about the RMAH, but I only have one honest question about it.

There seems to be a very good chance that all of the best items in the game will go the route of the RMAH because most players will want to make some money on the side while playing this game. Does Blizzard have any incentive for players that don't want to use the RMAH but still want to use the GAH and get good items? I fear that all of the set items and useful legendary items will become be seen in the RMAH and not the GAH once players realize that they can't use Diablo 3 gold to buy real life things (like food, or an awesome keyboard).

There is a chance that some players will continue to use the GAH, but I feel that Blizzard has made the RMAH so much more attractive because it has a real world incentive that the GAH will become barren and a dump for lvls 1-59 items that just help progress the player.

I might just be over paranoid and made the RMAH a more grandiose thing than it will become, but I wanted to know if there was any contingency plan in place for if this happens?

On a completely unrelated note, I find this game to be incredibly fun, very enjoyable and one that I want to play for years to come. If I was able to beat Inferno in a week I would have been very upset. Thank you for making the game we asked for so many years ago...even if most players forgot that this is exactly what we wanted at one point.
