I'm not much of a Barb player so this doesn't really effect me, but, why didn't they just delete the Barb character? Might as well have as no one will use it anymore with all the things they did to it.
Blizzard doesn't want live server veterans having too much of an advantage over new players. If the old timers lose money they don't care. Blizzard is Blizzard, you had to see this coming.
I'll probably be uninstalling the PTR and Vanilla D3, not buying Reaper of Souls pc and waiting till the PS4 version comes out so I have minimal amount of contact with these idiots at Blizzard.

Unless they do something about the Amulet situation I'm going to be uninstalling this garbage PTR version.
I have several level 60 crafted amulets that myself and my followers use, these have been now bumped up to lvl61 and are unusable in PTR.
I lose huge amounts of health, and offense by having to switch to spare junk amulets I have.
I crafted my amulet after many tries in D3 now only to be ripped off by Blizzard.
Blizzard has got to be one of the most infuriating companies to deal with I have ever seen.
This is a scary reply. Swapping to a junk amulet on PTR should be no big deal. Blizzard isn't ripping you off, if you feel that this is a rip off you should have felt ripped off when they announced the level cap was going up in August.

Amulets are confirmed to be bugged and they are working on a fix for that.
I'm sad because queue times are really long at the moment but they are running a "Load Test" until the 15th Dec. Sigh, i wanted to put my paragon points, at least
Make a couple new characters and log out then log back in, this got my account imported.
Not only do they not let you use stuff you get on drops, no that's not good enough, they have to screw up things you already earned (lvl60 crafted amulet).
They won't let you go up to 70.
I suspect the next thing Blizzard will offer will be a PTR version of Diablo 2 so we can test that useless junk as well.
If anyone is using a crafted lvl 60 amulet it is now lvl61 and unusable. I figured this out after a bit and a wtf? type moment. Fortunately I had a saved junk lvl60 amulet which I am using till this get's resolved.
Mine says PTR after making two level 1 characters but I can't import anything from other account and starting the game is impossible.

Everything is an upgrade now obviously, most legendaries will be crap though, like most of vanilla are once you played enough to have decent gear. Upgrading anything will be very difficult, because everything of value is BOA.

What it will boil down to is the same problem in the console version, only good stuff will drop in the super high monster powers, the rest will be mostly junk with the very rare piece that is actually something you will like and use.
The only way to get gear good enough for high levels is play forever or as currently in Console make a couple trades with friends which should give you enough to get out of the low monster power ghetto.
What is Athene's big claim to fame anyway? He's one of those guys who played for "5 minutes" when the game came out then left right away like a lot of them did. I care what the players who have stayed for the long haul think.
I don't care what they do to RoS pc version, they can make legendaries bind to account and they magically disappear after 30 days for all I care.
There is NO REASON for binding legendaries to account and making them untradable among friends in the console version. There are no botters no 3rd party websites making money etc.
If people want to "beat the system" so to speak in the PS4, PS3, X-box 360 versions they just mod their save files or make modded gear.

I got it going, seems to be easier to start a public game. I'm getting lvl 61 stuff but no way to use.
