I guess one benefit to playing HC is the sense of being an elitist prick you gain from thinking you're somehow better than anyone that doesn't play HC.
I agree with this somewhat. And a lot of the comments in this thread seem to prove this.
I've been using the fire build on here for a while, but instead with Grave Injustice. Same gear as well, pretty much, except I'm using Cain's for attack speed and Magefists since I haven't got T&T yet. With no Unity, T5 is a breeze with T6 being challenging but not impossible. Once I get T&T I'm sure that will become easier though.
Had two Lidless Walls drop from the same chest this evening. What are the chances of that happening? Pretty god damn slim I'd think. And I still haven't seen a TF EVER.
Nice post. Entertaining and relatable. I've been tryingfor RoRG all week and have still gotten nothing. Sitting at probably 650+ bounties just for the ring now. Have gotten those god damn shoulders probably about 7 times now. Amulet 5 or so. Bracers and the Scepter 2 or 3. It gets to a point where it feels like the game is mocking you. I've gotten SoJ, 3 piece Tal's (got 3 ammy's in 1 night also), Mirrorball w/ 2, Andariel's and some other good loot, but this ring seems to elude me.
Now, I know, RNG and all that. I understand that. And from what I understand, there are 5 legendaries that can drop from the cache. The above mentioned and the ring. So technically, I should have a 1 in 5 chance of getting it. As per the above, I have tried to guess the correct number between 1 and 5 about 18 or so times and have gotten it wrong every time. I thought I'd just check to see that I wasn't entirely cursed, so I went to a RNG website on the net, picked a range of 1 to 5, and chose my number. My number being 1. I got it on the first try. And died a little inside.
Anyways, I know that it's all RNG. And I have read that the drop-rate has not been ninja nerfed. There's probably no way to know this for sure. It's times like this that I wish the AH still existed.

What happened, was I went to try him out using that tank build, so I ran to the lower corner to get in position. For some odd reason, he bugged out, and got stuck behind the pillar coming after me. So, I swapped in my Piercing Orb, was able to hit him from the corner and just kept going until he was dead. Free pass - nice.
So I was progressing very nicely and even found Act 3 rather a breeze until this guy. Have tried many different methods, but just can't seem to down him. I don't suppose anyone would be able to skip me past him or help me kill him?
I'm glad to see that the ratio on complete morons to people with common sense is about 40/60 on Diablo Fans and about 70/30 on the battle.net forums. It does sadden me that there are people out there who think that a games developer would mess around with their player base in this fashion for a game that isn't subscrption based and that they are provding FREE fixes and improvements for.
It'd be nice to see the occasional post that doesn't attack Blizzard but instead says "Hey, thanks for providing me with a game that I've gotten 400+ hours of entertainment out of for the same price of a game that would sometimes only get me 20 hours (or less). Oh, and also, thanks for constantly adding things to it at no extra cost so I can keep enjoying it."
It's no news flash, but people are so god damn entitled these days.
