Area Damage is a no go for Hota. Currently(until next patch as one of the Blues posted until 2.4/Season 5) area damage does not work with bracers of the first men and other bracers/items like this. So basically we lose out on quite a bit of value on Area Dmg because of this.
You want CC on everything but your helm and get Hota with str/vit.
You just need to farm T1 or w/e or get into a group to carry you to get IK 6pc or WW 6pc + BK just anything so you can farm t8 like its a joke and level gems.
Having WW and Slam doesn't really do anything. Revenge is bad.
Get a pair of the slam bracers.
Use
Slam(Fire)
Furious Charge(Merciless Assault)
Wrath of Berserker(Insanity)
War Cry(Veteran's)
Battle Rage(Bloodshed)
Last Skill is kinda up in the air(before you get set bonus)
With slam bracers and those skills you can basically 1 shot everything on T4/5 without set bonuses.
You should try to get Strongarms cubed(or wear them and cube slam bracers)
Get Focus and restraint ASAP and cube Unity or convention.
Only way to get 15&as on gear is to equip waste gloves without vitality, but that would also decrease my life regen
You only need it on Bracers and 1 Ring. Why would you need it off your gloves? Get a CoE with IAS/CC/CD or cube convention and use Obsidian Ring.
Im actually messing with pure area damage and no CDR just paragon/helm. Almost cleared a 70... bad level 2 was just scouting level 2 for like a minute and had no packs i could really fight to be worth.
Earlier today i cleared grift 55 solo with 4 minutes time left over. I tried 60 and surviving was no isseu. However the damage is lacking and also i only came across maps with corridors and hallways and no big open spaces.
The goal is to achieve this on my seasonal barb Mars.
Apart from obtaining a hellfire amulet for an extra passive what do u guys think i should change, upgrade etc?
Area damage is still bugged it seems.
Not sure if profile is full uploaded, but i am using unity (chd48%, chc 4,5%, ED14%) and coe (489 stre, chd47%, chc 6%), diamonds in all slots, stricken, gogok and teaguk as legendary gems and scoundrel as buddy for extra dps
Area damage is only bugged for things like Hota bracers, and Slam bracers and other items that give increases like those. It works with Wrath and the 2500% dust devils.
Anyway if you have 13% ias on gear + 10% paragon you should be able to drop gogok and use PE instead.
The 255% speed whirlwind build is the same thing you just linked oni just a few diff runes(which is personal pref on those anyway). Just using stuff to go faster. Look at it.
Only War Cry every 60 sec. Only Ignore Pain right before it falls off. Only Call of the Ancients in dire situations you are about to die in or you know will be painful(like 50 mobs + an elite or 2).
You want 10% CDR on both weps, 8 on shoulders, gem in helm, paragon points at least and obviously on your Zodiac.
Drop RRoG for Unity(convention is fine till like low to mid 50s, but unity will make those even more joke status.
Get some real bracers like Lacunis with phys/ias/crit.
Also, get a new neck with a socket for Bane of the Trapped its too good to not have.

Exactly what it means. Not that archon teleport was more than like 1.5sec cd at the most anyway if you had CDR on everything you needed it on.
maybe we will see a comeback of charge barb, 6 piece IK, 4 piece Charge, cubed ring of royal, furnace and vile wards, will be quiet tricky to spend fury tho
The potential build that happened before. Boulder Toss to instantly dump everything. Charge > Toss > Charge > Toss and Wrath was off CD.
The real question what weapon do you use? Probably Heart Slaughter just for more phys dmg if you cube furnace or maybe cube a diff weapon.
Though I don't know if it can beat the Slam set because of the bracers.

Somehow in Rend spec and hota gear? Bnet armory is so weird.
My WW gear is basically the same except my pants and gloves are better than my IK ones and my BK weps are 2715 with 24% AoE each.

Also, you really don't need that much HP(granted im running war cry atm) I only have 740k hp doing 70s.

Spear procs strongarms and creates more density.

Im 99.9% sure you get more damage from going to about 1900ish to 2400ish instead of getting 2% more dmg.

Immunity amulet really doesn't mean much tbh.
You don't need LoH if you had Unity. You would take 50% less damage at all times.
