It has to be D2 HD and classes or expansion for D3. Why would they put the shop in D3 if they are gonna just abandon it to make D4?

I haven't played more than 40% of the classes in the game what makes you think I'd care for a new class? The game isn't good enough to even try the other classes....

posted a message on Your take on ladder-only items?
Never been interested in ladders or cared about leaderboards. But now with these season legendary items, am kinda forced to play it I guess, if they are any good. If there should be any competition in this game, it should be in some form of PvP. Forcing you to play single player in some other way than your way isn't evolving the game.

posted a message on RoS Beta It has a worse end-game than D3 Vanilla, loot 2.0 is a joke.

They've failed D3 the moment they've delayed the PvP, that hasn't been even brought up by Blizzard for discussions since forever. In a game that you have no competition and motivation to improve your character to be better than others(not just in monster clearing) you cannot expect much. I bought vanilla, because I've liked the early videos of PvP arenas, and was eager to build up a character that can win arenas. Now all we have is loot, and before loot 2.0, loot was just garbage. The worse part is that loot 2.0 gives too fast of a progression of your character and at some point it is hardly room for improvement. I really doubt that people will keep on playing just to try different legendary item builds against monsters, builds are fun and interesting when tested against other characters. At least that is my opinion.

posted a message on Trying to think of a PVP method that would work due to the balance issues

Where exactly is the player vs player interaction? You still are killing monsters, and the only factor is how fast you kill them. I know that it is ARPG, but I do not see this as a fun PvP feature. It is like a time trial, there should be some kind of interaction, a way that you can make it difficult for the opponent to succeed. This is really boring. A good way is to make some kind of map objectives that are guarded from your opponents elite monsters, and these lets say capture points gives you points over time like (AB in WOW). The opponent this way can try and defend side by side with these elite monsters. Since it would be uneven if you have to kill monsters and the enemy, there could be some waves of mobs that are attacking these points(like DOTA, LoL). The other mode can be CTF, and there could be some kind of teleports that can be opened by killing some kind of a boss. With these portals you could carry the flag more effective, or lets say if the player carrying the flag uses the teleport, the flag drops at the other end and has to be carried by someone else from your team, this can bring some strategical aspect to the game etc.
