what you're doing wrong is that you dont have crit chance on any of your gear, which is essential for it to work. Without crit chance (you need to be at ATLEAST 35% w/ BR to even think about this build) you won't be able to keep your fury up and you can't keep up your ww. Get crit any where you can get it/afford it on your gear, because crit damage is completely useless unless u have a high enough crit chance. Gloves, helmet, bracers, rings, amulets can all get crit chance (also, legendary items like belts, etc).

also get more health and get more resistance...if you're too poor to buy better gear then farm act 1 until you either get lucky or get enough gold to buy some beginner gear on AH
decided to try out the axe for the day, and i must say the "dps hit" it shows is actually inaccurate. My tornadoes tick for 15-20k each time they crit (before they ticked for 10-12k), my bash can crit for over 150k, my ww does more damage, and enemies just melt in act 3 compared to before. I think I'm sticking with the axe, enemies drop much faster, my loh and vitality goes up for the extra survivability (I can now stand in molten, plagued, and 1-2 arcane beams with little to no trouble), and the str bonus is just ridiculous.
Dilemma is the dagger shows me to have 48k dps w/ BR, and the axe shows me to have 44k dps w/ BR. I have a 48% crit chance. With the axe my crit damage goes up to 427%, but with the dagger my crit damage is 356%. Which one is better to use? Help!!
I am using the WW/sprint build.
PS: neglect the gems in the sockets, i will obviously use the 80% for which ever is better.
You may lose some dps on your WD if u transfer gear over, but if you are planning on glass cannon act 1 and 2 are a complete cake walk. You will still die, but you can usually kill mobs faster then they can get to you first (ps..you are gonna hate reflect damage mobs). If you ever want to try act 3, you will never survive with a glass cannon unless you have 100k+ dps and very skilled. My 2 cents.
The most common mistake a person who is starting off as a WW barb makes is choosing DPS over survivability. You can clear inferno with as little as 14k dps as long as you have the surivability to back you up. You need to bring up your vitality to the 900-1000 range, you need atleast 500 all resists (un buffed), and from what i see your armor is fine. Another stat that you definitely need to boost is your life on hit. You need to get about 1200 life on hit minimum in order for you to sustain your health as you are taking damage. You need atleast 35% critical chance (with berserker) in order to maintain your fury generation adequately.
That is my barbarian's set up right now, he definitely does not have "Godly" gear, but he walks through act 3 with little to no problems at all in 1.04. 1.03 he had a little bit of difficulty, but with the huge damage nerfs in the new patch barbarians are definitely over powered.
you need atleast 800 ar to farm a3 if you are going ww/sprint build, in order to farm a3 u need to be able to clear a2 easily. Throw on defensive passives until you are able to survive without them.
