I am curious if there is a gold price ticker anywhere. Something similar to what you would see on google finance that relates the price of 1mill gold to the dollar.
Stay farming act3, eventually your paragon lvl would increase and you gain more dps and mf, which is sole reason why the get paragon lvling the start with.
That was my thinking. I guess it will come down to how viable the crit mass build is after they nerf me....debating selling all my arcane power on crit gear...If I can't farm act3 like I do now...Act1 might be my only option
I am debating whether to stop my endless act3 runs and start doing MF runs in act 1.
Since the most recent patch I have found a whopping 1 legendary (zunimasi's chest) and sold it for 40million gold.
I here people telling me they find 1 legendary every 2-3 runs!? I can't see how this is possible since I have done in the hundreds of runs and only have found 1. Or am I wrong. Is it because of my patheticly low mf?
Should I be focusing in Maxing Magic Find and just farming the crap out of act 1?
Blizzard made its easy for players to show your total damage per second by calculating the damage and showing it in DPS for you.
It means less thinking about your weapon dmg and weapon speed etc. and just check what your dps says.
Attack speed is a damage modifier in % of your current damage.
If you have 10K DPS and +100% attack speed you would get 20K DPS.
But if have 20K DPS and the same +100% attack speed, you get 40K DPS.
So attack speed has more efect on higher DPS.
Also skillpoints like 1 int gives you 1% extra dmg of your weapon dmg, 1% attack speed gives 1% extra dmg of total DPS if im right,
Eventually all you have to do is look at your dps.
But keep in mind that your playstyle is also important.
Because if i am right it doesnt count for example frozen dmg buffs.
If monsters who gets frozen take 20% more dmg,and you dont freeze the monsters, you wont do the etra dmg. The DPS cant tell you how many times you do freeze them and do the extra dmg.
So the DPS is an easy way to check what setup is doing more dmg per second but is not that precise, because your playstyle is also important.
So just do what I've been doing and try and get every stat I can afford...INT/AR/Armor/Crit/CritDamage/IAS/VIT heh
No, you simply cast your spells faster, in essence allowing you to deal damage faster. The actual damage numbers for the spells are based on weapon damage, not speed.
So would you say it's the least critical of the 3?
Looking at my gear what would you recommend I do? Which stat should I start focusing on more? (thanks)
*EDIT* Holy cow! You're gear is perfect. I can only imaging how much you wreck this game....I already do pretty well and am no where near your stats.
That is my wiz thus far. As you can see I have put a ton into attack speed. However my weapon is VERY slow, but I got it because of its insane stats (loh,tons of crit damage, tons of int).

If I am doing a blizzard kite build does attack speed increase the damage of blizzard?
If am doing arcane orb build
If I am doing crit mass build
Right now I am doing the broken storm chaser build, but this is soon to be fixed in 1.0.5 for sure.
So I am sitting here thinking about what build I want to do next, and I want to know if I will need to consider attack speed in the build?
