With dex giving armor this won't be the case, at least they hope. Resistances applying 30% to AR isn't very much, and the armor change should actually make it seem less worth the passive slot than it appears.Quote from faelmist
How is this being addressed? Harmony (the new OWE) will be just as mandatory. There are two major issues with One With Everything:
- It'stoogood, to the point it feels mandatory for all Monks to use.

Oct 18, 2013Krowzzer posted a message on Announcing the DiabloFans "Site Update" Beta, Diablo 3 For PS3 and Xbox 360 GiveawayI voted loot 1.5. I'm looking forward to loot 2.0 in the pc version and I'd love to sort of see what its all about first hand with the console version. But in addition to that I'm interested in direct character control and the dodge feature as well. If I won, I'd love a PS3 Copy!Posted in: News

"Hopefully the PvP whiners will actually quit now instead of threatening to do so."
Mabye all the Idiots wishing for PvP will Learn that Diablo = NOT A PVP GAME. Look at you Whiners, Blizzard spend 7 month working trying to get PvP enjoyable and fair for you. That's 7 month they could have have been working on PvE content. It's great to see that PvP fags buttfucking the PvE players once again.
Because you people cleary have issues. Blizzard wants a fair and easy PvP system worthy od daiblo 3. A noble goal i'd say - Yet all you whiners want a is a bocthed system so you can faceroll other people with a 100% win chance on your Wizard or DH as you sit on your chair fingering you asshole in greatness beliving your a pro.
The only reason you fags are so upset is because blizard is robbing you of being a special snowflake. Good for them. It's there game if you dont like it....

But Kennadine is correct, they really need to change the way dots roll for crit from the initial cast to every tick. Though this is annoying and definitely hurts the efficiency of the build currently, it is still a very solid build that is accessible in low torments as well as high provided you have the correct gear.
I run a dot build for my WD. I play HC so I focus on an efficient build for clearing as well as one that gives good survivability. That's why I use frostburns, Hwoj wrap, and frozen piranhas rune. These allow me to be able to kite endlessly and almost stun lock every mob. I would suggest dropping mass confusion for spirit barrage for a solid single target burn in addition to your dot damage, and if you do this to focus on adding cold damage to your gear where you can.

Other than that you'll be able to do the lower torments with decent toughness no problem. Keep in mind though that when you start generating a bunch of fetishes, they'll start tanking mobs all over the place making it difficult to maintain CoB channels with its short range, that's one of the reasons vampire bats is seen as optimal

This is a pretty standard pet based build I used for HC T1, though I've since switched to a dot based build. Fire damage buffs your personal dmg with bats as well as your garg's burst damage. Summon him at packs and he should be able to 1-2 shot them once you get a little higher dps. Pirahnado a group to get them together and channel bats until they're dead. You just have to channel bats to get fetishes to spawn, not necessarily hit anything. Your pets should be doing the bulk of your damage for you. 14k Toughness is definitely overkill for t1, I feel safe at 5-6m but I have more dps as well. Anything over 8k probably is unnecessary. I wouldn't recommend using a shield, you're missing out on too much potential damage from a mojo.
As for blood shards, invest all of them into helmets until you get a Mask of Jeram. That will nearly double your effective dps by itself.

We timed a 4 player run through of all 4 acts continuously on Master HC last night on stream. Acts 1-3 were completed in 38m-45m and act 4 was only about 18 minutes. The whole run took 2 hours and 35 minutes.
As far as I know, there is CURRENTLY no difference in drop rates between master and torment in terms of Items, the only difference is XP and gold dropped. With the new paragon system and loot 2.0, I feel there is now MUCH less emphasis on paragon levels as they do not grand MF. I think everyone should be focusing on doing full clears of the game to get that guaranteed legendary off of SK, the density between all the acts seem to be pretty close with Act 3 generally being the best. I think the meta game right now is and should be all about finding the most legendaries, not farming XP. With that being said, I still feel that this build is the best for wizards and maybe even the best in the game. The barb, witch doctor, and demon hunter in my HC group can't even compete with this builds kill speed and survivability.

When D3 was released I was bummed to see no Frozen Orb, which was among my favorite builds to play in D2. Finally, the opportunity to relive the Frozen Orb sorc is now D3.
I play HC and this build was originally designed for Master/Torment 1. With tweaks and proper group comp, I believe it to be viable in higher torments on SC

The build is pretty simple, it revolves around frozen orb spamming. This is easily achieved with Prodigy and Electrocute (surge of power). You can spend all of your AP with Frozen Orb and regen it back in less than a second depending on your APoC. I started this build with 20 APoC though eventually dropped one piece and still find regeneration to be comfortable. In fact, as soon as I find a better off hand I will drop it, I believe the regen will be sufficient even with 0 APoC. The new passive, dominance, provides you with a significant absorption bubble and is refreshed every kill. This means if you have 10 stacks and have 24K~ bubble and take damage bringing it down to 2K, its refreshed back to full 24K~ upon the death of any mob nearby. This basically means a strong offense makes for a strong defense. Teleport is there for a safety CD, it doubles as both getting you out of a sticky situation (nasty frozen on top of molten explosions) and provides a significant damage reduction afterwards. If you never have trouble with this, you can drop it for familiar for a flat 10% dmg increase.Archon is in place solely for killing dangerous packs and with its new mechanics it shines immensely with the illusionist affix as well as cursed shrines/chests.If you have a lot of gear with Cooldown reduction and have access to a high quality diamond, you may want to swap to the 100 second cooldown rune for archon, with this I was able to achieve a 65 second CD on archon though in the end I valued the higher damage over lower cooldown.
Note: Though I have no numbers to prove this, and its not listed in the tooltip, it seems that the "burst" of the frozen orb at the end of its trajectory doessignificantly more damage than the ice bolts that spread throughout the path. I'll update this post with data once I have the time to make a video showcasing this.
I generally play with a barb who runs impunity, allowing me to drop prismatic armor in favor of shocking aspect for more damage, though if you need the all res/armor this is an easy spot to grab it. Also, because of playing co-op, I run the passive Cold Blooded. When playing solo I switch this to Glass Cannon.
I'd recommend gearing for a crit chance between 40-50% and putting points into area damage as it has a lot of opportunities to proc thanks to frozen orb.
I'm currently at work, when I get home I will update this post with a stream link and make a video explaining the build in greater detail. Post any questions or suggestions below. I have tried out many different builds since the patch and this one is by far the best for fast clears throughout the game for skeleton king resets. Keep in mind again, I play mostly on Master and dabble with torment 1 on HC. This build has allowed my group Act 1, 2, and 3 clears in 30-40 minutes and Act 4 clears in 15.

I stream mainly HC as either WD (rip) or CM wiz and play mostly in a group. Also record xp/hour on almost every run to try and find the most efficient paths and builds possible.

Then there is no reason to post a response. You may not watch streams but there are many many people who do. MP10 on HC alone is a feat in itself, doing this on a self found character is something that would interest a lot of people who are into the self found scene.
On topic, it sucks that the servers are down but hopefully the crash occurred before you started.
