Just to update some more info here, I already pre-seen that the gloves will be nerf and have a few backup builds that is equally fast without any of the shrines. And yes, with decent CD reduction, i can still spam breath of heaven. My point in the video should be pretty clear, the CD mechanic needs to be re-think, and breath of heaven doing both damage and healing at same time in a 50 yards that also travels through walls with no spirits cost just seems too over power to me.

If it is overpowered. It will get nerfed. This is a really early beta. 90% of the numbers you see in the game now will be reduced and fixed by the time it goes closed beta. And continued to be tuned til the release of the game. Not one build that is OP now will be on release. -

By the way they builds acts like now. Its just the new ww/archon spec of RoS. Which blizzard said they would go away from. Get build diversity.
If this would hit live, everybody and their mother would use this build so it will be dead in the water most likely next beta patch. It wont ever go live.
Gloves and weapon will also get a major nerf. Possibly something like max 2 shrines and 50% longer shrines. Or 1 hour with reduced shrines - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

Casual games sells. 9 to 5 job games do not
Casual games outsell everything else tenfold
Look at cell phone game companies like gameloft. They blow blizzard out of the water. Guess what kind of games they sell.

The trials problem would be fairly easy to solve. Either with just choosing the rift level from a drop down list or craft the key with the jewelcrafter/blacksmith.
Just be able to choose your highest cleared rift.
The problem is that blizzard do not want people to be able to just go in and choose their rift level to complete. They said so a little while back. They want higher rift levels to be harder to achieve than just choosing it from a list. But they also said that they understand that the current trials system is fubar and needs to go.
So basicly. We are gonna be stuck with trials for a long long time. Not something they gonna find a solution for any time soon

Is 2.2 ptr over for now ?
Haven't been able to log in for 3 days now. But not seen a blue post saying its finished. Less than 1 week for patch so i guess it should be down. But not got it confirmed anywhere

Really. I must be the most unlucky player ever then. Ive farmed almost as much on ptr now as i did entire s2. Not found small mans finger, nor the gems. Or zuni pants/gloves for that matter.

Or just leave it dead and sort out the other new builds. Jade harvester was incredible boring and i for one is glad its gone. If jade was the only viable spec i wouldn't even consider WD for s3.
Buff the other specs more. Make them fight other classes builds and leave jade dead in the water

How many new specs do DH get now in 2.2 and season 3 ?
6p marauder cluster arrow still the top spec ?
Or is the new set and natalya more than viable for 40-46 ish ?
Having a hell of a time finding a class for season 3 but dont want to be stuck with the same specs we have been using the last season. Like marauder 6p, firebird. Raekor and so on.
also. A little off topic. Wizard got other specs than firebirds now ?

Thanks for all the answers. Gonna go WD and worst case scenario. I can always swap if it doesn't work out. Aslong as gr40 is obtainable without selling my soul and my first born i am happy enough

In season 3 my friends gonna play crusader and barb. We aren't pushing top leaderboards and such. More playing for fun. Above casual. But not all out nerding.
Am i doing a mistake by chosing a WD as my s3 char ?
Played WD most of vanilla and all the way up to 2.1. So i kinda miss the class. But i dont wanna play something that will underperform hard
On ptr my friend managed to clear 43 easily with his current gear Current ptr patch. Not amazing gear. Roland Crusader
How well will WD's do in next season. Will i be able to clear 40 without too much hassle ?(will ofc do my part to get the gear. Not expecting a freeride) 40 is kinda my goal. Higher than that a bonus. But not something i go out of my way to clear

Diablo aint all about the seasons. There are a lot of players playing non season aswell and there are a lot of players waiting for patch 2.2 to come back to the game. More people coming back to the game. More sales on next expansion.
They didn't want to push a patch in s2. But they don't want to wait forever either. Ending season 2 which a lot of the players complain about that there isnt anything to do anymore was the right call.
There are now more happy players than angry players

Tried changing sound channels to low and also have it to max power on nvidia.
What seemed to fix a tiny bit was setting vertical sync to adaptive in control panel and turning it off in game.
But still not where it should be.
Gonna toy around some more with pre rendering frames and some other settings.

According to nvidia They are not beta drivers.
Also tried turning of Indexing service. No change
All temps are good. Nothing is overheating. No virus found with microsoft security essentials and Hitman pro.

Hey
About a week ago i decided to format my computer. It was due time. Lot of stuff installed and my "ocd" got the better of me.
Before formatting diablo 3 ran spotless. No lag, nothing. Never noticed a single slowdown.
After Formatting it runs terrible. Fps is still steady at around 80 (100 hz monitor V-sync on). But still it feels like i have 3 fps at times. Even tho it doesnt go down.
My specs are as follows.
Intel i5 3570K.
Nvidia geforce 780 TI
16gb ram.
OS and D3 on SSD drive
All Drivers are up to date. gfx, soundcard. chipset. etc.
So since it worked spotless before the formatting and not after. Im thinking it must be some settings that isnt correct. Or i would have had the same issues before aswell.
I tried to go over it multiple times but no matter what i do. I never seem to get the game to run flawless.
Any suggestions to help a brother out ?
Only thing i did different from the last time around is that i might have got a updated nvidia driver after formatting. That i had a older version before. Could that be it ?

Been running Firebells annhiliation for a while now. Guess ill give this a go. Starting to be a little tired of my current build.

As a burned out monk gearing up his DH with mainly bloodshards. I welcome this change with legs spread wide.
Also. Its your highest solo and since the rift you open with a group is classified as a group rift no matter if anyone leaves. You can't cheese it.
Unlucky for me that never really been higher than 41 ^^
