@Maffia of course we dont want a puzzle game...

for example: relating to the quests, whats the point in having the freedom to change the skills and not utilising most of them?..I am speaking of character-build diversity as a whole. if you have quests/events/monsters that encourage or enforce using different skill combinations and even different arsenal, of course limited to the character type, then the game will become more entertaining. isnt it?

in the game's current state, if you remove all the weapons from a character, you have nothing permanent at hand... the character is solely dependant on the weapons & armor... the above is a good solution for the diversity, then you can build other improvements around it if you wish...

@shaggy thanks for taking time and giving advice on what you think based on your experiences.

However, I'd like to say I understand from your comment that playing the demo till level cap 13 with all of the characters untill kiling the skeleton king is not enough to reach a conclusion!.. maybe, so thats why I included the forums and game comparison in my research also... not to limit myself to my experience only... is that also not enough.

but also from what you said, I can conclude that the D3 beta release which was one year ago, did not give the community the greater picture of the game... so it is like saying thats why maybe, from a demo player point of view, I am not giving good suggestions right now as the people who played the full release of the game??! see the link?

so, basically POE community is better enlightened than the Diablo community speaking of the beta release (GGG has released nearly the full game in the beta test). so people who are playing the demo (beta) of PEO now are getting a better picture of the game before the full release... I am trying to say that diablo 3 was not presented correctly with a sincere approach by thier developers comparing to POE for instance...

speaking of the comments written on the forums, majority is not happy with the current state of D3 (most popular forum threads are speaking of frustration and suggestion to improve the game)... AH, RMAH, boredom, repetition, end-game, story, itemization, balance, diversity... of course if people are happy to take out their brain and throw it away while playing the game thats their choice, but people who played the game from D1 and continued to LOD and more - the fans... then D3 matters; besides, we are human-beings we have brains to use... our potential is more than that.

maybe it is not worth the time to think on improvements for this game anymore. what do you say...

    @Twoflower Good point!

Using the induction methodology, we can realize the problems of the game without playing the whole game...thats the point of playing demo. Besides, there are the forum threads/posts that complete the picture... also we can compare to other games which are at the same level. So, why can't we try to generate ideas which can improve the gameplay, when we can do that without wasting time & money? and then we can wait and see the progress and decide accordingly...

I am a former hardcore player of D1 & D2, now I have a starter edition of D3, but I notice that blizzard don't care about feedback from those who try the game and decide whether to buy it or not (although some of the suggestions I have put are through reading the posts in forums); at least, I did not see a mechanism to do so yet. Because I don't have the full version of the game, the only option to post my opinion is this forum. I couldn't find any better place...

The general problems that I observe can be solved with "Give the players unlimited choices, and let the players choose how to limit themselves"...

I would have bought the full version, should the game have been as follows:

*THE QUESTS: Knowing that the characters are able to switch to any skill set at anytime possible; basically, the quests also must match that system, i.e. using different specific combination of skills to solve the given quest (this is very important); for example, you must have quests that require a demon hunter to use bows skill set sometimes and in other cases you need to use silent-kiling skill sets, as in using a dagger with impale/chakram or the like... (otherwise, if this is a true hack'n slash ARPG game, logically then the skill system must be like D2/POE style). The former then will encourage more social teamplays and will have diversity in solving a quest...

*GEAR: Also, not all the classes should equip any other weapon as desired, its ridiculous!.. if this is the case, then there should be some downfalls in that like the effect of weight of the weapon on the bearer, attack-speed downfall, or what have you... it would be very interesting if the Demon hunter can wield a dagger in one hand and use a hand crossbow in the other (or dagger in both hands), or the witchdoctor has skills to throw a javelin or imbue a sacrifical dagger with poison to make blowing melee attacks, or the wizard can perform different skills using a staff... skill-specific gears... this would be then related to the above points in solving various quests also...

*END-GAME: the game can be made more interesting if the player is given an option to choose a side(good-evil) or a faction something like the "blood/tears" system of Might & Magic heroes. this will create infinitely many options combined with the current innovative system of the game...(not necessary to be a complex system) for example after finishing the game in normal mode, start the nightmare mode by choosing a faction, then in Hell start with choosing good/evil,...etc.

*MONSTERS: Enemies also must be wiser and have the tactical abilities to really make a player sweat with their intelligence level... also must encourage fun while teamplay... it is an ecstasic feeling when people try to break a wall of intelligent teamplayer enemy groups together...

*ENVIROMENTAL TEASE: it would be more teasing if the players were given the chance to explore the environment by themself as opposed to " go to ... and kill ..." type of directions... the quests will be more challenging with the environmental risks at hands... imagine the sky is the limit...

*PC vs PS: PC and PS versions of the game must be adjusted accordingly you can't implement all of the above in PS version and some elements can be put only in PS version... why not?!! by the way Hardcore must be offline in PC...

In the light of the above points as an observer trying out the demo; in its current state, the game makes a player brain-dead, but any other thing is amazing in it... thanks

this game deserves to be the best!!!
