    1. He absorbed the soulstone because we were beating his shit in and he needed the extra power. His death releases diablo who is the prime evil now having absorbed all the other evils into himself. Diablo will come back, the other lords will not.

    2. Tyrea l. Could not harm his brother because he is only a mortal now. We couldn't hurt him until we combined the powers of the dead with our own. That is why we could hurt maltheal.

3 and 4 are not questions.

    5. It doesn't seem likely that the angel of death will comeback. Tyrea l says that diablo is once again released after the fight so it would be reasonable to assume that diablo will return as a boss in the next expansion and probably will have some of death's powers in addition to this own because of mal absorbing the soul stone during the fight.

    That's all my quests though.

I am not sure Diablo will drop a legendary 100% when reaper goes live. That might be moved to the act v boss. Also the pools I am pretty sure will only apply to your paragon experience bar. So once reaper is live you will revert to standard exp for your levels. Though you may get that back after you hit 70.

posted a message on Puzzle Ring - Pickup Ticker
Puzzle Ring's new affect is a novelty. It sounds great as an idea, but in practice it really doesn't work out. The Common debris it just too important for crafting to ever be worth the goblin stealing all your whites. However I will point out that whites almost always drop from armor and weapon racks throughout the game. You have to make a point in clicking them in order to collect your white items. People have be trained so long to ignore that shit that it take a little effort to remember to click and gather them for the crafting mats. Trust me though, clicking through those racks in act 3 will yield plenty of common debris.

What would really be cool is a change to the puzzle ring. Maybe instead of collecting white items the Goblin merely trades them. So the Goblin will grab a white off the ground, then throw the item back out, with the chance of it being white, blue, yellow, orange or green. This makes the goblin not useless as most of the whites he takes will be returned, allowing players to still have their goblin, their whites, and possibly legendaries if the goblin feels nice.

posted a message on What's more important, damage or toughness??
I like to weigh the changes I get from a new item. If the thoughness hit way greater than the damage I would gain, then I ignore the item. The same applies to an item that would give me more thoughness. I usually go with a 5 to 1 split. So if an item would give me 5% damage, but take away 1% thoughness, then I would quickly equip that item. This of course doesn't apply to items with special effects like cold skills dealing X% extra damage. So you have to use good judgement on that kind of thing. I'd say for torment 1 you wanna try to hit about 150K damage or more, and 1.5million thoughness. Skill can offset lacking thoughness up to a point though. So do with that what you want.

    Also what Jaetech said,

posted a message on Diablo 3: Hunting the Stone (fan xpac)
I've been seeing a lot of fanmade patches and ideas coming to the forum and I thought I'd give one a try. Forgive the text only patch note as I have no talent for art, and after you read this probably no talent for game design either.

    Diablo 3: Hunting the Stone

    -General:
Two new acts have been added to the game.
Act 5: Journey through the dense jungles of the Sharval Wilds, as you hunt the black soulstone that fell from the high heavens. Here the tribal town of Enfstieg will be your safe heaven against the mutated beasts that have begun to appear in the jungle.
Act 6: The final showdown against Adria takes place across the frozen wastes of Scosglen and the town of Tur Dulra. Unspeakable horrors await players as they near the black soulstones radiating energies.

New Class: The Paladin - this heavy armored warrior of light takes power from one-handed and shield equipment. With a number of abilities designed with having a shield equipped players will find exciting new uses for finding awesome shields in game. The paladin is a strength based class that fights with melee combat and area of effect spells.

New Artisan: The Mystic - This new craftsman allows players to use essences and other crafting materials to "Reforge" stats on existing magic and rare items. Don't like health globe granting extra health on this item? No worries change it to attack speed instead (with a modest fee of course.) Much like reforging in WoW this will not work as a one-to-one ratio and there will be a % reduction for changing a stat figure.

New challenge: Decent of the Endless - A new endless dungeon that ramps up in difficulty every ten levels you progress. Every ten levels will find players encountering an uber boss as well as a bump in difficulty. The dungeon will start as if a player was on inferno mp0, and then proceed to get harder and harder until players reach mp25. (mp25 is near impossible! How far can you get?)

New Level cap: With two new acts comes a level bump up to 70! Players will keep their paragon progress from before but paragon experience will freeze until players reach the new level cap and then resume if they are not already paragon 100. In addition to new abilities across every class, paragon's magic and gold find bonus will now cap at 350% instead of 300%.

New Items: An entire new tier of items up to ilvl 75 now drop in game. In addition we have added almost 100 brand new max level legendary items for players to find. Get ready to upgrade.

New Gems: All gems can now be upgraded another level past marquese, but like before they make any item they are slotted into bind on accound. In addition to that there is now a new gem color Blue! Blue gems grant Attack speed% in weapons up to 15%. In armor they provide All resist up to 75 per gem. And in helms they provide gold and health globe pick up radius up to 25 yards.
