Guides are worthless because everything is dependent on what gear you have. Minimal changes in crit/crit damage/weapon affect your build, so in essence every guide is worthless unless you're using similar gear. I can't dictate what drops you get, therefore there's no point in having a guide :)

The problem is that Sharpshooter was designed for when gear drops weren't Smartloot, and you needed to make up for a lack of crit. Nowadays getting crit on every piece of gear where it's available isn't too difficult, so we crit pretty often. May want to consider switching that out

You're the one trying to rely on AI as reliable tanks while assuming enemy AI will target them in the first place, how is your post any less filled with ignorance or stupidity? Please ignore people who try to talk common sense into you <3

Companions are too stupid to utilize as tanks, sentries have 6 second cds with a cap of two, low rate of fire, idiot target choices, etc.

Don't do stupid builds that rely on AI to work.

I got one at 60, which made me incredibly happy and sad. Hoping to get another one, mine had perfect dex/vit/socket/4 hatred on shot.

But with right positioning you stand behind him so you avoid the wings, so why stay on the run and lose dps uptime?

I got 2 legendary belts for 2 full pages of purchases, so not bad. One was a semi upgrade I painstakingly rerolled into an upgrade!

Yeah, I believe Kridershot with frost arrow is the strongest combo in game, since it allows us to regen Hatred with a generator twice as strong as the next closest, while also hitting a minimum of 11 targets in a cone. It alone almost takes care of all your aoe dps needs, allowing you to choose either more abilities to supplement it (another dps cooldown) or to pick up a strong single target skill (or Fan of Knives, used in melee range as it has no cast time/animation and can be used during shots of Elemental Arrow).

Only downside is the frost damage won't scale with % damage (since we usually stack fire), unless you literally gear only around using free Frost Arrows(could be good with the leg that makes you do more damage at full resource).

I've always hated remaking my spec for aoe/single target, so I've always run one that maximizes aoe while still keeping strong single target at the same time. This does gimp me into having 1 hatred generator and spender so I can run utility on the other 4 to support my build. That rapid fire build with the rights items/talents is indeed very, very fappable, but like you said, it's awful for aoe,and 95% of the game is aoe.

I love theorycrafting all the builds, and in fact DH's have a ton of fun ones-- it's just that since we bring little utility, need to be the big damage bringers, and that maths out to only a few choices. That's why I advocate builds that are 100% useful for any and all kind of encounters with little to no gear requirements, which does lead to a static and arguably boring spec.

I would argue that dw 1h's can be good, but you'd need two incredibly strong ones. Like very, very strong. If your helltrapper had maybe 150ish more dps, and your MH had 2500, I would agree that 1h dw can beat any quiver. The problem is in getting two very strong weapons, and even then it depends on the rest of your gear which way you swing. I think that 130% chd....is OP, and it's really hard to beat, but quivers come with huge dex, aspd, crit, % skill affix, and even +disc (obviously this a perfect quiver). 1h's are lucky to come with DEX and a socket if they have decent dps.

Your thoughts? I'm also curious about why you don't run Strafe as dw, I thought that would beat any other option while clearing up mobility options as well

Currently saved with a "signature-less" AT build that I use for solo runs for T3 bounties. Sometimes I replace AT with Disintegrate (Entropy or Chaos Nexus - I like both) and replace boots and source with similar ones with +30% Disintegrate damage. Paragon points are used for Int, CHD, Regen and LoH.
Just popped in to say I hate you for you Andariel's :( congrats on it though!

Armory pls, would love to see your amazing 1h's that can beat a quiver. http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/badglad-1719/hero/4211079 use my quiver for an example. It doesn't have the % damage affix on it yet, but I'm sure it's still decent enough for comparison.
