Death's Breath Farming Builds for WD and DH
We featured some Death's Breaths farming builds a few days ago for Barbarians, Monks and Wizards. Today we would like to highlight one for Witch Doctors and Demon Hunters.
They both make use of the Sage's set, and have some insight on gear choices and playstyle. The WD one in particular has received lots of praise on its Reddit thread. Check them out!
Bounty Speed Farming Crusader
Since there doesn't seem to be a specific Death's Breath farming build for Crusaders, we would like to highlight a Bounty Speed Farming spec put together by acebaur. It boasts both good killing and movement speed, with some room for choice on the needed gear! His written guide in particular is quite useful for understanding the build.
Rank #1 DH Solo Clear
Demon Hunters seem to have lost some flavor this season to Barbarians and Monks. For those who stayed loyal to the class, Wudijo has shared a video of his recent solo clear of a Greater Rift 63 with a Unhallowed Essence spec. Great first person perspective into what its current high end gameplay looks like.
Is there any difference between a Death's Breath farming build and any other fast farming build, other than the presence of the Sage's 3-piece bonus?

Does that title officially mean that this UE build is better than nats?
That only means that it's the best so far. It's still too early in the season to tell which set is the best, there may be slight indications of which set is the best.
@Tybudd his own comment on the video suggests that he would go back to Natalya once he gets better gear, so maybe Natalya's is better but his current gear made his UE slightly stronger.
@st0rmie the build is usually optimized for a specific difficulty (usually T8) with certain skill choices, and sometimes item choices as well. There seems to be a sweetspot for this specific objective in terms of damage, toughness and speed. That's how I see these builds at least. And the advantage of optimizing the farming of Death's Breath is that you can "target" your legendary drops much better than just random Rift farming.
Gratz on the clear.
But i must say that DH looks immensely boring to play now. Sorta glad i didn't go for DH as my original plan was. Not that my choice of monk was all that great either tho. Rather boring with uliana aswell.
But nonetheless. Gratz on the clear
Exactly. A bit surprised to see my run here, but definitely a good choice as it's the most interesting of S4 so far Cheers
Each their own, but how can stutter stepping at 3.5 attacks per second, vaulting around making huge pulls, fighting 2-3 elite packs at a time potentially be boring? It's about of the most intense playstyle I've seen since vanilla, and definitely breathes fresh air into the DH class after a season of holding down right mouse button for Ball Lightning.
Now that's skill.
Congrats Wudijo!, thanks for sharing you DH knowledge.
nice try on the DH farming build, but no... it's terrible
@Kren2301 news post is 3 days old, thread is 1 day old. I had seen that build as a speed bounty farming one, but I wasn't sure if it was a strong DB farming one (since this last archetype focuses on killing elites asap rather than just pure speed), but I'm glad to see more feedback that it is. Thanks for the heads-up and for your feedback!
@eldimmy thanks for the feedback. We'll try to feature better builds in the future!
grats i guess we know ze is huge turbot bois..though...:(
Can somebody just confirm to me how long i have to get the Malthaels Charger mount in HotS? Im new to diablo so im just starting it now but want that mount. (Even though i've had diablo 3 since that Tyreals Charger promotion i never played it lol)
@wayne21uk you should have plenty of time. Dustin Browder has tweeted in the past that they plan on having that available for quite some time. Since it's dependent on leveling a char to 70 on Season 4, it's possible the promotion will last until S4 ends. Not guaranteed however.
