heh, i wonder if the will revamp the skill calculator etc, with all these changes to runes it will be interesting to see how they function.
thanks for datamining this info guys much apreciated.
I'm guessing a lot of parts from the "game guide" will be revamped (at least would need to be) once the possible Jay post will be up. But something tells me we won't have any official informations by the end of the day.
I'm so happy there is such a great site for the diablo 3 community to grow. The popularity for the game is already so high.
The patch looks good, i do not lit it if runes are made easemode, the more drops the merrier. Else it seems good and i love updates more than anything almost no matter what they are.
Edit: I would've beaten Insanetrasher too if it hadn't been for the copy & paste and quote tags! *pbbbbbbbt*

Well well. From what I understood I feel good with this system change, but I'm surprised it took them that long to figure out runes should not be part of the itemization. For me it was clear that the rune system was to be incorporated to the UI directly.
Please next time you post some updates or changes and contains spoilers do it the right way and don't reveal everything.I want to be clueless until i finish the game in normal. Thank you.
When it comes to lore or something like what the in-game bosses are, there will typically be spoiler tags and warnings. For everything else, though... You'd probably be better off not visiting any Diablo III site (official one included).
I would like to test this but then i dont exactly support it. Loot dropping runes are so much more fun. They make for anticipation in the demon huntng world and did in d2. High runes dropping was a rarity which could only be achieved through the farming of a few select mobs which gave out hrs. It made it fun!
Are you serious or on drugs while typing this?
There is fun to be had from rune dropping but whenever someone essentially says "I want more farming" I can't take them seriously.

D2 is pretty much all about farming barring pvp? What else is there to do at level 60? There are no raids like WoW. D2 is about itemization which inevitably comes via farming for better or worse. Spread it out, have rares/champions drop better loot than bosses, call it 'exploration' or whatever you like but at the core it's still farming. How can you not take that seriously or say otherwise?

Inferno just lost more reasons to play in now that you're given all skill augmentations while leveling up.
However this does fix the dead zone after 30 problem.
