Just wanned to know about the new energy system on blizzcon 2010,
cause no one actually asked about it in Q&A`s panels...(not from the videos on youtube i watched)
i Saw the barbarian`s globe yellowish, so no more fury globes on fire like last blizzcon...???
also how they behaved, as it should play different from Mana, in the sense its not just a requirement to use skills anymore (as Mana was in D2)
Or they are behaving like Mana, but just with a different skin, Wizard kinda purple/cosmic, Barbarian Yellow/fire etc..
Also on the Battle Arena video, you can see, Wizard`s energy globe there, and it was full all the time, even using lots of skills (also like the first gamapley video with the barb and the WD...Using both Mana, but the globe just full or recovering fast all the time)?
We don't know how the Barbarian's new fury system works.
The Witch Doctor will use mana.
From the PvP vid it seems that the Wizard's energy system rapidly refills when not casting spells. I think it doesn't refill at all when you are casting something.
We don't know the Monk's system, only that it's finished. EDIT: In the demo he apparently still used mana.
We don't know the Demon Hunter's system.
Barbarian uses "rage" and the orb fills red. Monk's orb fills white and uses "spirit". Both classes generate their respective energy by dealing damage. Certain moves specify how much rage/spirit they grant per use while others only expend rage/spirit (finishers). If I remember correctly from the demo, the Barb seemed to gain much more energy from taking damage compared to the Monk. I'm guessing the Monk's combo moves will make up for that in addition to the fact that the Monk just doesn't get hit as often due to higher dodge.

Alright, thank u very much!
Lets wait for a more final version of all of them and see how it goes...
But i have to say, im glad that they took away those little globes out of the barbarian, and all of the chars
use a simple globe filled with their own specific energy bases... in terms of look and feel, just keep with a more Diablo feel to it... even not being Mana... Looks great!
