I saw all this hype about beyond the gate, and I told myself I wouldn't spoil it for myself. I lasted 2 days, and this morning, I was checking DF, and I saw all the pretty pictures. It just drew me in, and I checked it all out. It was so exhilarating, but now I ruined the surprise for release.
I feel shamed...
Does anyone else feel the same way?

Well I just watched like the first 3 minutes and then stopped. But I don't think there's major spoilers part from the new affixes and lore which I don't mind that much. But if they had a vid of a boss fight or something, I wouldn't dare watch it!
Honestly I've looked at most of the datamined stuff and aside from "Diablo is going to kick ass and we have to defeat him" there isn't much to know. Most of it is still speculation.

Trying to stand strong and not look at any of the pictures myself, I was saving it for live play but it looks like no beta for me so guess I have to hold off until launch.
If D3 was coming out in a timely manner, and we werent all completely freaking out month after month, it would be very easy to just skip some early spoiler stuff, since the game is almost here. But all the delays and letdown etc .... then yes, of course most die hard fans will lose the inner struggle because we are all starved to get our hands on the game.
Its for that exact reason I believe they should have let us continue playing the new areas in Beta. its the least they could throw us at this point.
For a big fan to be able to stand the wait.. u just have to get something new once in a while hah And tbh we have seen these zones before, we just got to see more of it now, alot of it probably not even working as it should, so there's still alot of suprises for release
Implying the rest of us who can wait are not big fans, nice ~_~
Yes, I was decrepit when I had the opportunity to go to three maps. I told myself that I would not go to these area, because I did not wanted to A) be ban (If they did) or too much spoiler for me (if there was any spoiler to be have in these three maps.) Then I saw all the new breed of monster that was in these stretch. Thus, there goes my curiosity getting the best of me. WOOPS! lol
Even though I can make some educated guesses about the plots, I've avoided the spoilers for now. I might have accidently heard a thing or two here and there, but I'm not really going into Diablo 3 with expectations of being presented with a great storyline. I've played a few modern rpg's in recent years and Blizzard's writers just seem way behind other developers lately. WoW was an excellent game, even though it really didn't demand great writing, seeing as that it was an MMO. Maybe Blizzard working on WoW for so long has permanently altered how they write their lore, in a slightly negative way.
A lot of Blizzard lore for their legacy titles (Diablo and Starcraft) has been coming from out-of-house sources, such as the fiction outside authors have written in their books. Blizzard has had to make several pieces of lore from their books canon and with Diablo 3 they had to take everything they had and slightly restructure what exactly was canon with "Book of Cain."
With that being said, Wings of Liberty's single player campaign was presented well, but the ending soured the whole experience. Diablo 3's quality will probably make or break my decision to buy Heart of the Swarm. i really don't need to spend another $40-$60 to play more of the same RTS crap and see how Kerrigan's Life is going. :/

Some people tell me I'm going to hell. I just let them know that I've already packed my bags!
this is still only act 1 right....? leaving 4 other acts if so
Even with this 3 (?) new zones combined with regular beta content we probably havent even seen the first half of Act 1 and there are 4 acts in total.
What he said. Act one is far from being down. Spoiler alert coming. Check out the pics. below... As you can see, all the act 1 wps that was datamines.... There is A LOT of wps for act 1.
And there are probably tons of waypoints missing because no way act 1 is twice as long as act 2 and 3 with act 4 having only few waypoints xD
I say it does not matter if it doe snot have a lot of wps. It could mean each map in Act 4 is enormous? That is just my opinion.
i hope not, because if that will be the case im gonna get lost a lot
That is why we have interweb friends. Am sure there is someone in the group that will know the way, but hey if it is an enormous map. lol You know there will be A LOT of monster for you to farm, so you don't have to travel from wps to wps so often.

I see it like this: the release has been postponed for so long that we owe ourselves a treat.
Besides, there's still so much we don't know (end bosses...)
and its not really any spoilerish, some new events, few new mobs... nothing to get exited about
