I wouldn't mind another Warcraft game, but maybe its time for a new game completely. If they really wanted to stick to their roots they should just remake all of their games in HD, since that is the trend now adays.
They should remake D3 with D1 awesomeness.
They are currently in the process of doing that as we speak. its Called Daiblo 3.
The first act of Diablo 3 is basically Diablo 1 with glorified graphics.
It has the Catherdral, Old Tristram, the Skeleton King, The Butcher, and others.
Someone is actually making a d2 remake using the SC2 map editor... its actually amusing....
Well we know for a fact that the next Blizzard game is going to be Titan. It's going to be a Social MMO and will have several genres in it including FPS, RPG and likely small bits of simulation. The game will be enormous and you'll be able to do all kinds, and I mean ALL kinds of stuff in it. You could probably imagine Second Life with a mix of sci-fi and fantasy. It'll be really huge.
Then it's WarCraft 4. There's a handful of people right now making the early designs of the game. It's likely that Titan will be out at about 2016 and War 4 will be 2017 or 18.
IDSs Titan ,is most likely getting announce at next years blizzcon, and if blizzard is keeping in line it should be out by 2016 oh shit you're right....like in the middle of writing this post I just realized that's just about how long it would take if they kept in line with announcing their games ~4 years before release. hopefully titan is alot closer than we think I mean they've been hiring people for quite a while now, I think in 09 we saw the initial positions go up for it. That's 3 whole years, and they've pulled WoW devs to Titan so they've had a solid team for quite a while, I think they're just a little more reluctant to show it though, after all the shit D3's gone through I think they'll announce much closer to release, where they have a finished game and they're polishing balancing getting feedback on a few small systems instead of all the bigger ones in production like D3 has. War though, oh god I can't wait for war 4. I mean I never even bought War 3, and Whenever I try trial version I suck but god is it fun either way. Since I've recently been more fond of Strategy games I'm sure War4 would be a nice and welcomed game in my collection.

You should use paragraphs.
Titan isn't close at all. All this time, 4 years or so, of development that has gone into Titan so far has pretty much been testing the designs and the engine's systems. There was at one point a crew of about a dozen individuals crunching at the code but they were reassigned 2 years ago to help push out Bnet 2.0 for the release of StarCraft 2, after which the head of the team was removed... as head of the team, and he decided to leave the company as a whole (nothing personal).
Since that point I think the current idea is that there is still a team of about a dozen, that has been growing to maybe 20 or so people and they've been grinding away at the code and design for the game. By this year's end the major components of the core of the game will be in place and the team will consist of maybe 50 people (max). That's when the real work begins. Content creation.
If by any chance you want to read a bit of my speculation for future Blizz games you can check out a blog post I made about it, right here on Diablofans. I've put my thoughts down about it in some good detail. :]
By the time Titan comes out, we'll all be knee-deep in zombies, because the Mayan apocalypse would have happened more than 3 years before its release. No one will have time for trivialities like video games when danger lurks on every doorstep.

So ahh this will be class 3 online?
The mayans also have a celebration scheduled for the 21st October in the year 4772
Is that a zombie get together? Or is perhaps the majority of the population already zombies with limited intellectual capacity choking down drugs that purposely perturb brain function?
I'd suggest it's the latter since many don't seem to recognize zombies are metaphoric archetypal jabs at societies inability to internalize and sensibly render creative thought as well as our hypercritical approach to alternate thought met hand in hand by politically correct populist denaturing of people who will swallow anything someone who appears to have a viable brain will throw at them in the name of random liberal propaganda with abhorrent practical consequence.
Funnily though people without viable brains are being paraded around for society to mimic now and noone seems to notice.

Apparently there's two things you've never heard of before: jokes and sentences that have less than 40 words. No one is impressed with your attempt at feeling intelligent by using a bunch of "big words" to speak down at people.

Well, about the release date of Titan, you and probably everyone else on this forum knows that Blizz doesn't always make their first projected release date. About the social part, I really dislike that. Every multiplayer game nowadays requires you to group up, co-ordinate, and spend multiple hours with 4, 9, or even more people. I would love to have the option to play with other people, but in my opinion, I shouldn't be punished for wanting to play solo for a while, or because the people my friends force me to be in guilds with are idiots. Anywhoo, I'll probably spend hundreds of dollars on it anyway. Blizz has some way of draining my money, whether I like it or not...

Sorry to burst your doomsday bubble, and as much as I love zombies I have to tell you this:
There have been 514 leap years since Caesar created it in 45BC. Without the extra day the year today would be the 28th of July 2013.
Also the Mayan calender didn't account for leap year. So technically the world should have ended 7 months ago!
OP: Totally remember that game! It was great probably the very best in the series. Loved it so much. Dunno if it's the best game ever made, but it's definitly up there, and definitly the best of the series.
well actually there is the last WoW expansion after MoP (no name yet, as i know of)
also Activison may release a game with blizz behind it
How do you know there is only one more WoW expansion left after MoP?
Just curious...
Those are the original plans. Titan is supposed to pick up the audience. If there are more then 5-6 million still playing WoW then of course they'll milk another expansion.
Obviously there have been some delays. But overall it stays true over the time.
I'm guessing we might see Titan mid-2015. Since there will be no Blizzcon this year, we might see some information next year if they decide to have a Blizzcon then.
Whoever was talking about Titan being a social-MMO with a lot of simulations and multiple genres mixed together, I think you're getting it confused with Otherland...
Otherland is a very unique looking MMO, that's for sure. Whether they can pull it off and it will actually be fun or not, who knows? It's being developed by a very posh firm out of Singapore with what seems to be a lot of talented multi-cultural team members. Something like 20 countries are represented on their development team.
I was exactly the one that mentioned Titan being a social MMO and I'm not mixing it up with anything since this is the information that has been gathered so far. It will be an FPS with character progression and customization, possibly with 3rd person cameras and such. It will hit more on the RPG side with the game possibly looking like a much better version of Hellgate: London. It will also, possibly, have simulation and by that I mean economic simulation. Not driving or anything like that. Although driving is also a possibility, though more as an arcade addition and not a simulations one.
It'll mix a lot of things and will be integrated with social networks.
For people that would want to give it a try to the best game ever made (My opinion and everyone that tried it) giving even more magical sensation and immersive experience than any game for free.
I found a tutorial on how to download it because I know it's a really old game (1998) so it's hard to find.
Please send me a link to that
