Dude blizzard has explained nothing team working quote : Blizzard says that they are not currently working on Warcraft 4. They are, however, working on the remastered version of Warcraft 3, which is called Warcraft 3: Reforged ( Blizzcon 2018 ) . . Warcraft IV required actually 1 new team development . Classic team members have just explained cannot work on other games except classic games because small team of developmentand and sometimes need to kidnapped designers from other team develpment. Gently Stop to believe to Flyers Donkeys. Warcraft 4 doesn't exist right now. RTS required years to develop and for now nothing team working on WCIV ........... And i want rember you , Director creative The Witcher and Cyberpunk from 1 year work for Blizzard , unofficiale project can be easily spin-off diablo. And some olds jobs posting Unofficial Project quote 6 moths ago : required passion for 3d person game -Action games . sorry you fail No RTS Passio required
What are you even trying to say?
It's unintelligible. I don't think there is anything you can decipher from this.

Warcraft IV doesn't exit easy. Exist only for sad fanboys warcraft 3. Is not Warcraft the franchising going to die but Diablo .......
I strongly disagree, there have been multiple openings for an unannounced real time strategy game, after reforged was already announced, so unless Diablo 4 is going to be a RTS (which would be hilarious), it is either the beginning of Wc4, a New Starcraft game or a new franchise, My bet is on Wc4, they already laid the ground work for it with the "Son of the wolf" comic taking place some 50 years from now.
I'll be happy for that Llama dude who still plays it in 800x600. I'll purchase it, of course, but damn, I put soooo many hours into it, I hope it has some VERY updated graphics. It will probably just get the Warcraft III treatment. Yawn.
In previous years, when they had very little to announce, it was common for there to simply not be a Blizzcon. Now they know they can sucker people out of 50 bucks for the pass, so why wouldn't they have one to announce their crap phone game?
They should have: OW2, D2 remastered, D4, WoW Xpac, etc. to announce this time. At least it's worthy of having a convention.

Personally I'm betting it gets the Starcraft treatment, slightly better resolution.
I want it to essentially be Diablo 2 with D4's engine and graphics, but I know that won't happen. THAT is a true remaster, not the slightly higher resolution sprites they gave Starcraft, or the HD models they gave Warcraft 3.

I think the Warcraft III; Reforge team set the bar honestly, that is the direction that the whole classics crew wants to go, so it will not just be slightly higher graphics imo
Given the wild success of WoW: Classic and the gross disconnect that the devs had to that idea ("No you don't - you think you do, but you don't") they are sure to do a D2 Remaster. However given what David Brevik has said about the difficulty of updating the game, I would imagine it's going to be a remake that I wouldn't be surprised to see them use D3 assets to achieve. Not the lack luster D1 Anniversary event shenanigans.
My hope is that it's a remake with a lot of quality of life improvements and you can appease the masses by having a true-to-form version and an updated version.
Diablo II is a HUGE part of my Teen/early adulthood. Right now, it's flooded with bots (Not really new) but the community doesn't really feel like it's there any more. a remake would revitalize the game and a lot of my old friends would come back, even if only for a short while.
For Diablo 4. I'm a huge fan of the lore and I want to see the series pushed forward. I didn't get as much mileage out of d3 and I did d2, I'd like to see what they can do with Diablo 4 and see something new.
Also Blizzard has explicitly said they do not have any plans to remaster or -make Diablo 2.
When did they say that? Do you have an actual source that quotes them somewhere? Because the only major quotes I've seen are from David Brevik:
"I can say from a technical standpoint that it's going to be extremely difficult. That you will not be able to capture it exactly the way it was," original Diablo creator David Brevik said in a 2018 IGN interview. "The number one reason is because of the shape of the screen. Because the screens back then were 800x600 and largely square, and now they're not, they're 16:9 and 16:10, we did a lot of tricks."
Even in this years Activision earnings call Bobby "give me your money" Kotick said:
"At Activision we have seen great results from remastering some of these beloved games over the last couple of years. They are obviously having a big impact on our bottom line and a real impact there, but I'd say what's really important is that it's reaffirming the enduring nature of these franchises for us. We think there's a lot of IP in there the fans are going to want to experience again. So now what I'd say stay tuned for some future announcements."
Naw, you're right, it will only be 4, unless they reveal Wc4 which would be freaking amazing.
I was hoping for the SC FPS, but they split that team for OW2 and D4.
Blizzard has just declared last blizzcon 2018 warcraft IV is not in project actually.
Things change, after Blizzcon 2018, they now know that people want it, so it is probably one of the unannounced projects that was hired for this year.
They are updating all the graphics for a reason.
If that were the case, I doubt they would have anything to announce or reveal with a year's worth (at most) of work on it. They pulled D4's announcement last year for who-know's-what and it's been in development hell for like half a decade. I'm not saying it won't happen, but I'm cautious about thinking it would be announced this year.
WoW's next expansion, Overwatch 2, Diablo 4, D2 Remastered... and what else? A Hearthstone expansion?
