I really hope it's "balanced" like people here as saying, but I have strong doubts/qualms, I do remember hardmode fights from warcraft before I quit that punished you for playing a melee character. Hopefully they've accounted for this, but only time will tell.
Melee has an easier time with Health orbs atleast..since it drops right at your feet. Also some mobs are "Grenadiers" which only hurt ranged classes. Blizz has many ways to balance things out.
i'd rather be a barb then squishy range x.x i'm not planning on playing HC so i'm not gonna be afraid to charge in and die.
besides...if you don't die a few times are you really having fun? well if there's no risk of dying i should say. dying a few times in HC would suck lol that means you had to start all over a few times XD.
I think it will be play style based. I personally stink at keeping my distance with ranged characters so I will struggle. However, I am generally very good at controlling my character in the mess.
