Greetings from Destin, Florida, where the sun is shining, the sand is white, and the ocean's cool and refreshing...
I left my hometown of Evansville, Indiana just before a huge storm hit. The storm unloaded about 3 inches of rain in about an hour and we heard reports of parking lots with flooding up to car windows... We left just in time!
We arrived last night and I've already been swimming in the ocean and in the pool on our building's roof, I played with my 17 month-old niece in the sand, I've been reading the Sin War trilogy, I've been playing my 360, and played Diablo 2. Throughout the week we're going to eat at some nice restaurants, race go-karts, drive bumper boats, play golf, go shopping, and whatever else I wanna do
So, where do you like to go on vacation, and what to you like to do when you're there?
my last true vacation was a week long trip to kota kinabalu, malaysia.
Its a great place if u like beaches!
Had lots of fun in the sun and sand!
My hearts wish is to visit USA!

I've actually never been outside the USA. In one of my classes the professor asked us to raise our hands if we'd traveled abroad, I was almost the only person who hadn't. I know pretty much everyone speaks English now, but I still find the idea of being that far away from home a bit scary. Plus I'm always hearing stories of Americans being huge targets of abductions in other countries. I guess all those horror movies don't help
It's overrated. Or at least some of it is. I've never been a fan of going away to a sunny place and relaxing all week on the beach and similar. Now a skiing trip, where you actually do something fun is much better.
A vacation should be an experience. Like going to Cedar Point. That's something I'd really like to do.
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.

watching too many movies there...the worst that can happen is that they rip you off on some dumb souvenir or something.
That's definitely not the worst that can happen. US Dollars are extremely valuable in places like Jamaica. Americans are major targets for thieves in a lot of vacation spots. Also, American women are considered exotic and are targets for rape. I'd fear for my fiancee.

Well that definately varies with where you go and where you stay in said country. If you're aiming for Europe for example, I wouldn't be all that worried

Hell yes! I LOVE Cedar Point!!! I sure wish the rest of my friends liked going there as much as me. They are always like, "oh..nooo, I don't think I want to go THERE...."
How could someone NOT want to go to Cedar Point? Cedar Point is the bomb dissle..

Wow, you live pretty close eh?
Tell me, do you grow tired of all other amusement parks once you've been to Cedar Point?

There's an amusement park near where I live called Holiday World. There's only 3 roller coasters there, but I still consider it to be one of the best amusement parks in the world. It only costs like $30 to get in, all the rides are free, all soft drinks are free, free sun screen, it's very clean, and their water park is one of the coolest water parks I've ever seen. If you're ever near southern Indiana you HAVE to go there. I'm never going to Six Flags ever again.
