man...if tyrael is evil ima have to change meh sig and avatar lol to a evil TYRAEL!...and diablo 3 would be gay if tyrael was 5th class...he would pwn everyone and would never die lol and seeing a bunch of tyrael's everywhere it would be wierd like...HAHA im now a level 99 tyrael muahha! it would be a total mess up...plus you were probably joking lol
i don't like the idea of Tyreal being evil. If he were evil it would kinda of be a kick in the nuts because then not only could humans trust evil, but they couldn't trust "good" either.
I can already see the expansion D3 "The Path of Tyrael":O
That is a pretty cool name/idea for an expansion.
With the advent of episodic gaming (HL2: Ep. 1, 2, 3, Starcraft 2: Terran, Zerg, Protoss, and so on) maybe we will see more than one expansion pack for Diablo 3. I certainly wouldn't mind.
Alright i got this theory in my mind that i think it would be interesting.
What if Tyreal could be one of the "Greater Evils"?
Mephisto corrupted the worldstone. What if when Tyreal destroyed it, a piece of it punctured his body, therefore corrupting Tyreal? (just like the Warrior in D1 when he puntured his skull with Diablo's stone).

All I can say is, read the Sin War trilogy, especially the third book.
Anyway, Tyreal wouldn't become evil on his own. But I absolutely revel in the idea of a Diablo-infested Tyreal. A demon inhabiting the body of an angel. I don't think that's been done yet in Diablo's timeline. It could be... Legendary.
You are all corrupted by the angel, Inarius. He has turned you all against the Angel of Justice, Tyrael, also known as his brother. Those pictures of an angel falling are far more likely to be Inarius than Tyrael. The only thing I could think of Tyrael doing that was against the sense of angels is him getting together with Deckard Cain and getting it on with a mortal human woman.

I said this elsewhere, but I will repeat it for the hell of it.
You know when fake Tyrael/Baal tells Marius "you did exactly what you were supposed to do" or something holding the exact same meaning, when Marius was going "Noooo..noo.nooo.noo, I failed you Tyrael" or whatever ?
What if Tyrael gave Marius the soulstone knowing EXACTLY what would happen. That Baal would come and take it from him. I mean, a level 88 character going into hell would have trouble fighting through it..what the fuck chance did Maruis have of going in there without getting harmed? Nevermind that..what chance did he have killing Hephasto, then destroying the stone at hellforge, after picking up that hammer that took a shitload of Strength to carry in the first place?
It just doesn't make sense. Something here is really fishy. Whatever Tyrael did in Tal Rasha's chamber after the cinematic ended is unknown. I just don't th ink an Archangel could be dumb enough to trust an old man with the soulstone of Baal..trust him to go into HELL..defeat HEPHASTO..carry the HAMMER, and destroy the goddamn soulstone.
This alone drives me into thinking that Tyrael has something cooking on the side.

Has anyone ever thought that it never really was Tyrael? What i mean is what if it was Diablo all along. If you read the Sin War trilogy it says Diablo can take on whatever form pleases him, whatever suits him at the time. I think he deceived you playing as Tyrael all along. Maybe the three brothers conspired for this for a long time. As to killing Diablo in the campaign again, we have no idea what he looks like. The supposed "Diablo" could be just a powerful demon. We also cannot be sure if destroying the Soulstones really killed the brothers, considering their power it would not be folly to assume they manipulated them to work for their plans. Also since the Worldstone was built by the angles to weaken humans over time so none of them could be as powerful as the nephalem (Bul Kathos, Rathma etc.) what do you think is going to happen now that the Worldstone is gone? I am sorry if this has been brought up before.
Well when i beat D2:LOD for the first time i didnt think hhm maybe Tyrael is evil. I doubt hes in league with hell because what would be the point of that if he basically guided you to kill 2 lesser evils(well Cain is the one that guided you to Andariel really) and the prime evils. In D3 im just expecting for Azmodan and Belial to finally show up and maybe Lilith.

I think that the one most likely to side with hell would be Imperius or Inarius(although thats unlikely) but we"ll see eventually.

Good theory, but the Prime Evils were playing balls out. They threw away all they're little games and made bold moves to place themselves in power again. The only thing they scewed up on is leaving Mephisto behind to handle us while the other two escaped further. The one thing I don't get though, is why Baal wasn't there to confront us alongside Diablo in Act 4. They are stronger together, yet he kept fleeing. Wait.
He was searching for the stone! Marius had gone into hiding, so its logical that Baal went in search of him. Marius had only heard of Diablo's demise. And as for Diablo, well, would he have left his soulstone just anywhere? No, the Prime Evils were playing as hard as possible, and they underestimated humans yet again.
However, now they'll be coming back. And I'm going to lose my mind when I see them again.
You know i always wondered how the hell marius got into mephistos place without dying. I mean if the jungle was full of demons and all the cities too you would think they would have killed him. But who knows maybe Diablo or Meph ordered them to not attack him because they had planned on him being in the asylum much later on.

The way I see it, Sanctuary wasn't as infected with demons and monsters as the game was. I mean, would anyone be able to get anything done with that many demons and other such creatures running around? The way I see it, they only populated the game so much so that we could have some fun killing them, and maybe even make it a little annoying for us to get from point A to point B.
I mean, he got into the Durance of Hate without having to find Khalim's pieces right? Maybe Marius was assisted by Tyrael or maybe he's just lucky. Or was lucky rather.
Haha thats a good point you make. Its also a possibilty that the meph or diablo just allowed him to get there, i seriously doubt they didnt sense him there.
