Have none of you ever even heard of Deadpool? He is incredible. Before he even became a mutant, he was an insane serial killer. I'm not an expert on here, so don't take everything I say too seriously. Read wikipedia. It is where I got this info.
Anyways, he looks incredibly cool. He has better aim than Bullseye does, and wears a sweet red and black suit. He uses an array of weapons, including numerous guns and swords. Before he became a mutant, he would kill a victim and take his/her identity (so nobody knew he really was).
This is where the uncertainty occurs.
He was eventually diagnosed with cancer and saw that the same program (Weapon X) who trained Wolverine was looking for test subjects (they didn't publicly release this, but they were testing on people to try to "give" them powers.) None had been "given" powers so far, but Deadpool was the first success. He acquired Wolverine's ability for healing. Once they were done with him (the cancer had long since disappeared from all of the stuff they put in him, I believe, although he had become even more mentally insane and is now horribly disfigured), they threw him into a building (the Workshop) with all the other weak people who had participated in the program. The "gaurds" of said building made bets on who would last the longest, AKA the dead pool. Deadpool (the mutant) eventually escaped and now continues to be an insane mutant killer.
OK, that was the basic rundown. If I remember correctly (I may be thinking of the wrong mutant), he last shrunk himself down to microscopic size. Anyway, his artists developed him with a penchant for breaking the fourth wall. For all who do not know, the fourth wall is the imaginary wall between the actors and the audience. "Breaking" the fourth wall is a sense of Deadpool knowing he is a comic book character, as he occasionally talks of his presence in a comic.
Deadpool has died three times. "Deadpool has died three times in the past. First was the aforementioned event at the Workshop that kick started his healing factor. Later, Wade had decided to rejoin the Weapon X program to regain his good looks. However, after witnessing his girlfriend, Copycat (Vanessa Carlyle) slaughtered by the program, he was heavily gunned down, while trying to get revenge on his former employers. Luckily, Thanos resurrected him because he was envious that Death was falling in love with Deadpool...Lastly, it appeared that Deadpool was killed in an explosion fighting the aristocratic (and telepathic) villain known as the Black Swan.
I love the issue were they cure him and he looks like Tom Cruise

So someone HAS heard of Deadpool. I'm assuming you aren't being sarcastic. I haven't read that issue, but it sounds funny (then again, it IS Deadpool.)
they cure his disease or whatever it is and he looks like Tom Cruise

Spawn is sweet.. but Elfen, I rented Soul Calibur II for gamecube. Spawn wasn't there. The site doesn't show spawn either. Isn't Dead or Alive an exact replica of Soul Calibur II? I might be totally wrong but strangely that's what I remember. Anyways, I remember playing Spawn too, and it sure as hell wasn't Soul Calibur II.
EDIT: Spawn, I believe, is in the Xbox version of Soul Calibur II.
