I just want to get peoples opinion on the four player partys. I know it hasnt been finalized yet, but im really hoping that they make it 5! It would make more sence seeing there are 5 classes. I just really hope that they go "People are right. We should go 5 people"
Tell me your thougths
I think any more than 4 people on the screen in Diablo 3 would be too much. If you watch the Monk gameplay video, when they have a full party, theres alot of shit going down in a small area, mainly because Blizzard wanted to make more powerful looking skills. I think if i was playing in Diablo 3 as any character, i would take more space to kill over more people to kill with any day.

i agree to somewhat. But still i would like to see all 5 classes hand and hand
It is one of the few changes I actually like. People are kidding themselves if they think 8 players per game was a good system, if you were melee you were just there for your buffs as the ranged would kill everything before you even swung a weapon. It was basically just a clusterfuck with eight people.
Honestly, it isn't adventuring with 8 people that I want, it was the trading (replaced by AH), pvp skirmishes (replaced by arena), and the "lets do something silly" servers that I liked to have them for. It's one of those small things that you end up missing ALOT, especially when you've farmed for a bit and want to relax in game with a bit of variety.
At first I didn't like the new player cap, I really like 8ppl games in D2, but to think about it, it was really difficult to stay the 8 people together, and since in D3 you only get experience and loot from close kills, it would mean nothing to split into groups.
Also, with 8ppl if someone got off the game hardly anyone would notice. Each party member wasn't very important. It was just a way to get more experience due to the XP boost with a large party, what doesn't happen in D3, so again something that wouldn't be nice.
If after the release they think 4ppl is not working out, probably they will change it in the expansions, so, no need to rage.

Sounds like you're conspiracy posting in the wrong thread then.
