it was a small glitch where anyone with a custom user title could view that mod forums...fixed now
really thats what is was? but Darkjay along with thatdude, Maestro, Acidreign and Opus Dei didnt have custom titles. guess they got there status' revoked. or the forum was just switched so only super mods can view it, either way its the same effect.

we have talked to Umaro about it, he seemed like eventually custom user titles would be a good idea. Though i know atm in his current situation he might not be on the site 4 a couple days, but myself or elfen will run it by him again next time hes on
It would certainly be an award for post counts that I would greatly appreciate. I've never wanted anything else for my posting except to have my own custom title.

yeh one day in the near future custom titles for all may be possible, currently its only to show the difference in myself and silver's status, i.e Super Mod.

Wait, so are the people in the mods section actual moderators or not, and if a new mod is recruited, will it be for the Super Mod position?

That would be a bad idea. Common sense is never common, but that is exacly what is needed in choosing a moderator. Public elections are a great way to counter power-hungry rulers and would-be dictators, but I don't see Umaro being one, and thus it would be much better if he chose the candidate.
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.

A poll would be cool, but I think people should agree to whether or not they'd like to be nominated for the poll or not. You wouldn't want a moderator who wouldn't want the job. Another interesting thing I thought of was the current moderators would hold a kind of "contest" amongst the candidates. They would give each candidate a certain scenario or two, and whoever solves them the best, would get the job. Just ideas.
but id rather make someone a mod who deserves the job and will be well liked in the role. i dont want someone to become a mod if they arent well liked. I wouldnt want someone who will go all "Nazi" on someones ass. it might be fun to see but that not their job, they are here to make this place more enjoyable, make sure no unsuitable material is present, make sure threads and posts are in the right place, this is easily done if posters think it thru and please use the edit button, you dont have to make a new post after you hit submit and think "whoops forgot to say something", just hit edit.
