I would love to know how all of you guys that still steadily play D2:LOD are able to enjoy the game. I have played diablo for years and I really just get bored doing the same thing over and over and over and thus even though the game is on my cpu and it's rip-roaring-and ready to go I don't play much.

Whoa that's intense. I don't know about striving to find perfect everything as far as equipment. I've gotten some pretty high level characters before but i've never 99'ed and I probably never will i just don't have the desire to put that much time into it.

Yeah, it's interesting how like some players if they drop one stat point into the wrong thing, they'll start their whole character over. It actually takes a lot of knowledge about the game to achieve what some of these hardcore players do. I could never really come close to perfecting my character in that way.
So I like to consider myself a finder of keys and assistant to newer characters in need of help. When I'm not trying to level up, you'll see me constantly doing key runs or if someone says they need help finishing a quest, I try to be available for that too.
I understand that you can just randomly put things together as far as trying to make a crazy character but at the same time I would get tired of things killing me and would end up going with the same old build and then i would end up doing the same old runs and boom I'm back where I started LOL.

Just because theyre crazy doesnt mean you die a lot. Well, except for the necro build xD
The zon is able to clear a hell game without too many difficulties when you are by yourself, when more people are in a game you should be in the same area dispposing of the same monsters though. As for the ranger, Ive seen a few decent ones on the European server a few years back. Just depends if you are a person who rushes the game or is easy going. I was mostly a rusher, I have all my chill-out characters on Single Player.
None of my characters on Single player have ever exceeded lvl90, but many will know that on B.Net I go crazy when it comes to leveling. Even when your doing the same stuff over and over again, a good friends list on B.Net will keep the game alive for many months if not years.
I will concur to what Ferret has said. Ferret will even get ridiculas by stating how much Millions of exp needed and how many baal games he has done...one time I swore he did like 70-90 baal runs.

That may be exactly what I am missing. I used to have a pretty decent list of friends and even guilded a few times but when my friends started falling off of diablo and heading to WoW I went with them, after much convincing. I'm still at WoW now and I havn't done much with Diablo since then, I guess I just need to get back into the game a little.

I know the feeling. I wanted nothing to do with a P2P game but somehow got dragged in. I am pretty sure the cousin that drew my name for Christmas and my mother are purchasing me game cards for Xmas so I should be good for like 6 months after that.

What I would do to keep it interesting is to find a group of people that want to play the entire game through - no rushing, through all three difficulties. Either that or try Hardcore mode. That can be addicting, too.
Sorry, had to fix the title of the thread...to me felt like "How do you keep your love life interesting?" lol. "How do you keep it interesting" made it too vague. Hope you guys dont mind.

Don't forget the Teletubby mod. go bitchslap Diablo with your handbag.

You're a machine. I knew you could do like 150 or so, but 350! You sure you're not a bot?
This makes me want to play now, but I can't I'm at work.
Or sometimes I'll put on all my Nat's gear, use the ! function and run circles around people saying, "I'm see through."
