1.89 APS when dual wielded results in (15% increase) to 2.1735 APS, without going into to much detail picking items with APS, I was able to get .25 aps from helm, nothing from shoulders, .39 aps from torso, etc etc resulting in:
2.1735 + .25 + .39 + .39 + .29 + .15 + .19 + .39 + .39 + .39 = 5.0035 APS or 10 APS duel wielding the same weapon, with no buffs.
2.1735 + .25 + .39 + .39 + .29 + .15 + .19 + .39 + .39 + .39 = 5.0035 * 1.75(Barb Frenzy) = 8.7561 APS or 16 APS duel wielding the same weapon, with Barb Frenzy.
2.1735 + .25 + .39 + .39 + .29 + .15 + .19 + .39 + .39 + .39 = 5.0035 * 2.15(Barb Frenzy + Monk Ret Aura)= 10.7575 APS or 20 APS duel wielding the same weapon.
My understanding was skills that are used, Bash, Frenzy, Weapon Throw are get used at the weapon speed of your attacks. And alternate between weapons when used.
In the last scenario, attacking 10.7575 APS per weapon with bash = 129.09 Fury per second. How does this work?

Even if it is established that abilities don't go off that quick, and they have a gcd, or some sort of thing, 20 Attacks per second is INSANE. It would be blurry.
My only thought on the matter would be to wait for release. If there's a bug, we probably won't even see much of a fix until release. But maybe, if you get beta you can report it if it's incorrect!

1) Why are you multiplying your APS by two? You already accounted for the dual wield attackspeed bonus, and attacking with dual wield doesn't swing two weapons at once.
2) Frenzy only increases the swing speed of Frenzy, not of your other skills. So in the final case you could swing Frenzy at 10.8 APS - equivalent to a 2.5frame attack in D2. (!) With the monk aura, Bash could swing at 7.0 APS, equivalent to a 3.5frame attack in D2 (!!!!!). Problem is, attackspeed (and castspeed) had pretty stiff diminishing returns in Diablo 2. We have no idea whether there are similar DRs in D3 - it is possible.
3) Skills can have a different base attack speed than your regular swing speed. For example, Cleave appears to be slightly slower than regular swing speed. (just eyeballing it, haven't measured it or anything) The first two hits of Fists of Thunder are way faster than regular swing speed. On the other hand, Bash seems to hit at regular attack speed, so 7 APS could be plausible.
4) If you did manage to get 7 Bashes per second, you would generate totally ridiculous amounts of Fury. However, you could also spam "4 frame" fury spenders to burn the Fury.
