Alright, first off, gotta point out that anyone is welcome to join this RP at any time. Just PM me, and I'll work you into the story as soon as possible. Hell, even you guest viewers are welcome to register and join this shit. You know who you are, all ye' unregistered lurkers.
SECOND, gotta credit Azriel and Party_Foul for all their help. Without them, the story wouldn't be half as good as it is. Azriel made sure I had solid explainations for the events of the story, and Party basically set the thought-gears in motion, we would have had a totally different setting without his input. On a related note, they will be running the RP whenever I am absent.
NOW, with all that out of the way, onto ze rules!
Ze Rules
Posting
Like Abbadon's Legions before it, this will be a laid back RP. You don't need to conform to a strict posting amount, but try to post once a day if possible, or 3 times a week. As long as you can keep up with the story, and contribute to the story, you're posting enough.
But then, there's the Quantity < Quality argument. Of course, I don't want you to compress all your thoughts into one, massive wall of text. But, at the same time, you don't need to post three times to express "I walked to the swamp." Just try to keep them as interesting as possible, and post at your own discretion.
However, try not to post over 3 or so times in one day, we don't want the story to move on TOO quickly.
Posting Conduct
The normal forum rules would apply, like don't flame/troll/whatever. No double posting.
Also, you cannot control other player characters. So, if you're Scyberdragon, you can't make my character murder Azriel's character, nor can he have my character decapitated/raped by an angry mob of peasantry. However, if consent exists (Example, Scyberdragon and I planned it out beforehand), then it is OK for you to control other characters.
But, this doesn't mean you can't set up situations. So, if you wished, you could say something like "Bill noticed a bear creeping up behind Zhar, and shouted to him to watch out." However, you can't actually make said bear eat me.
Character Power
This will definitely be much more free than in other RP's. We're demons, after all. HOWEVER, this does not mean you're invincible. So, if you tried to single handedly best 10 or so soldiers in combat, you'd probably end up dead. Just make sure to be realistic when confronted with multiple opponents.
Creativity
Creativity is seriously encouraged for this. Both in characters, and in posts. If you want something to exist, then it exists. So if you want the woods we're in to suddenly spring to life and try to eat us, then the woods will suddenly spring to life and try to eat us.
However, I will still be guiding the story in the direction we are going, so if I say something like "Hey guys, we're going to town to bring this bag of beans to Farmer Ted.", you can't be all "WELL FUCK YOU ZHAR, I'M GOING TO KILL FARMER TED, AND THEN TAKE THE BEANS TO FARMER JACOB!!"
That wouldn't be cool, so don't do it. Farmer Ted needs those beans.
But, for the most part, this RP will be driven by you, the players. Thus, it is fully within your powers to create situations, people, even enemies. But, if you're planning on something big-ish, make sure to PM me with the details beforehand so I can make sure it jives with the story.
yeah, first would be a reaper with fire abilities. The second a skeletal samurai with defense. I am not good visually so I like to start with a pic and create from there.

Me too Creating characters is such a love/hate thing. I love making them up, but they take forever. I haven't played a female character though, so this should be fun.
