Its awesome how you can just add "rael", "riel", "thael", "phael", etc and all of a sudden it becomes demonic.
I also changed my name earlier today, although mine wasn't quite so subtle. Zethrael as opposed to Eblis. I like it a lot more now, but I'm still not 100% sure yet. I think I'm gonna set on it for a day.
PS: I can't believe my western accent made it's way into my writing. "Set" instead of "sit"
PSS: If you can't tell, I seriously love these new smilies.
Edit: Umm Jeru, did you realize you typed your character's height as 1.67 centimeters? And yet he still weighs in at a whopping 62 Kilos!!!
Diablo II's level, which is to say, pre-modern dark fantasy. That doesn't collaborate with any of our real world tiers of technology, it just means that they used what they "felt" they wanted in Sanctuary and nothing more.
Basically, no guns
Or, at least, if we are going by Diablo II's standard, that would basically be the limit. You still, oddly enough, have electrical and fire-spewing traps, bombs, and the like. Pre-modern fantasy was a paradox.
It's really open to your imagination, if you wish magic to work via specific incantations, then that's how it will work for you. If you wish it to work via scrolls, then that can work too.
I usually leave these things up to the player to decide, I'm all laissez faire like that.

"One in every 10 million people can potentially have a headache from this pill." God forbid she is the 0.000000001% of having a headache.
Lol, I love it when players make sure their characters aren't overpowered, I despise it when people come in, give their characters all the bells and whistles, then act all confused when I ask them to tone that shit down :D.
Though, this run it seems we haven't had this problem, I'm pretty glad that the "power slot" idea worked to help eliminate any problems, and I must say, very nice characters all of you, can't wait to get this shit rolling :D.

I love the power slot idea, it's probably the best thing to happen to RPs yet.

I hate the way you cling to ignorance and pass it off as innocence

Thanks mate, hopefully other RP's use this method in the future :D.

They use a bunch of different means in Diablo- I know the Sorceress mutters incantations if you listen well.
.... You're shitting me.

It works quite well.
Even though I have an urge to fill that last slot.
Ey, you've already got all 6 slots filled.
Armor slot counts as one no matter what you choose to take, since there are countless ways you can defend yourself. You can use telekinesis to have blows bounce off yourself, you could simply dodge or fly out of the way, you can twist your body to evade...

Yeah that's what I figured you meant. I was just going over everyone's characters again since the changes and noticed that and went
Might have been cool having a 2cm tall character running around causing mischief.
Best kind.

(Just my input here.)
I'd assume so, there were numerous Alchemists in Diablo II, at least. Well, Alkor comes to mind.
I'd go with the one with the orb, btw
So no steampunk, Turm :D.
And Jeru, I said when this was being planned that it was still a long ways off, we're starting Tuesday at the latest.

So I take it you're going to be using telekinesis as your main weapon?
