ALRIGHT, due to demand, we're posting the character creation thread ahead of schedule.
Be SURE to read the descriptions of each section for the character sheet, as there have been significant changes made to it, and significant requirements for each race. Also, if you feel the need to add a section to the character sheet that we have no included, feel free to do so. Just be sure to ask first.
And I swear to god, if we end up with a bunch of overpowered characters, somebody is getting punched in the dick. Make them believable please, it makes these RP's work so much better :D.
Bit of backstory for each race before we get into the character sheets, sheets will be in the post below this one to avoid clutter.
Humans- Your back is up against the wall, and you’re fighting for your life. It was two years ago that the demons finally overtook the Heavens, and it was two years ago that the fate of Sanctuary was left in peril. They come in ever increasing numbers, whittling away what settlements you have left, slowly and methodically killing those who put up a fight, and dragging off those who don’t. You must make a stand, or die at the hands of the hordes.
Goatmen- When the Worldstone shattered, the magics pervading your people shattered with it. Almost overnight the bloodlust and hatred filling your species dissipated, leaving the tribes confused and renewed. Making peace with the humans, trying desperately to repair years of war, you thought your race was finally going to succeed. Now, that is all threatened with the onslaught of the Hells. You must band together with your human allies, and take up arms against those who would tear away your world.
Demons- The lords of Hell are not known for their mercy. Still, you thought they would welcome you back. It was not your fault, how could you know your previous lord Namphiel was secretly working for Heaven? You were only following orders, you were only doing as you were told. But, now it matters not. They will kill you all the same. You need allies, and you need them fast.
Angels- Trapped. Trapped in this burning world. Unable to return to your desecrated home, and unable to find others of your kind. You are alone, one of the few individuals who survived the invasion of the Heavens. The demon patrols are becoming harder and harder to evade, you know they will catch you eventually, it’s all a matter of how long you can survive: and how many of them you can take with you.

"One in every 10 million people can potentially have a headache from this pill." God forbid she is the 0.000000001% of having a headache.
Height: (Humans and angels are roughly the same size, with goatmen slightly taller, and demons ranging anywhere from tiny to massive. Keep it within reason, of course. I’d max out height for demons at about 10 feet or so, anything above will be a bit much)
Weight: (Once more, ranges from race to race, keep it within reason)
Eye Colour: (Know the other RP’s where it’s weird to have a freaky eye colour? Well, in this one it’s pretty much necessary to have a weird eye colour, unless you’re a human)
Desciption: (Physical description of your character)
Background: This is where things start to vary from race to race really heavily. For humans and goatmen, you’ve got it easy. All you need is a background story, what you’ve done in your life, ect. For demons and angels, you need a background story, AND you must choose to include several evils/virtues associated with your character (1-3 evils/virtues).Repeat, virtues and evils are for angels and demons ONLY. So If I made a demon, I could choose to associate hatred, deception, and destruction with my character. This would affect the feel of my demon, the powers he has, and his personality
Behaviour: A blurb about how your character acts/ their personality.
How you were captured:Characters MUST be captured at the start of the RP. Players will begin as prisoners in a demon caravan rounding up resistance in Sanctuary. Angels, rogue demons, goatmen and humans will all be within the same caravan guarded by demons.
--==Weaponry, Armor, and Powers==-- (Pick a maximum of 6)
(This is where you choose your characters armor, weaponry, and powers. It is restricted at 6 to prevent absurdly overpowered character, so basically you can’t give your dude every trick in the book. You don’t HAVE to fill all 6 slots, though it is put at a rather high number so people have freedom of creativity)
-Weaponry: (Each weapon would fill one slot. So, for example, if you chose a bow and a sword, you would have filled 2 slots and would have 4 left for the rest of your character.
-Armor: (I really don’t give a shit how you fill this portion, count it as one no matter what you choose to include. So, if you want a full set of plate armor, as well as spikes for a tail, and a shield, it counts as one.)
-Powers: (This is where you put any powers/traits/defining objects your character has. So if he can use ice magic, that’s one slot. Fire magic, there’s another. Summoning, bone magic, ect. Each school of magic takes up one slot. By traits, I mean things like “strength, speed, or intellect”, something they have in excess that gives them an advantage over their adversaries. So if I wanted a character who is really fucking strong, that would take up one slot. Things like animal companions would also take up a slot, as would poisons n’ the like. Basically, this section is for defensive or offensive objects/traits that don’t fit into weaponry or armor.)
Text Colour: (We all need a text colour for our speech, so, claim one while you can.)
This will be mine, by the way.

"One in every 10 million people can potentially have a headache from this pill." God forbid she is the 0.000000001% of having a headache.
Background: Born on the continent of Westmarch. He grew up with his lifelong friend Ingis Karnagi, whom he always had internal differences with. Cang Zhi was always more quiet and wished to make an honest living, while Ingis always was finding new ways to scam people. He never let this affect their relationship though, they were always going on adventures and listening to great stories about Ingis' grandfather who was a Knight of the Burning Blade. The young boys were always excited when Ingis' father would tell them these stories at the end of each week, always leaving a cliffhanger to keep the boys coming back. The boy's were inseparable. Or so they thought...
When Cang Zhi turned 16 his parents sent him off to the Monk Academy at Xun Island. Before the young man boarded the boat to the island, his father handed him a staff. He recognized it immediately, it was the staff he always saw hanging above his fathers mantle, the staff of his Grandfathers, which was enchanted by the Horadrim. For a while Cang Zhi missed his old life, his friends, his family. The young boy adapted quickly though and soon completely forgot about his past life on the mainland through intense meditation. Day and night the Head Masters would teach him the way of the Monk. Be it through combat or nature. Cang Zhi was only 20 when the Demons overtook Sanctuary, it happened only days after his graduation.
Cang Zhi spent 3 years wandering the land and in harmony with his inner self. One night though, almost as if it was through premonition, he was reminded of his "brother" Ingis. This vision bothered Cang Zhi for some time, he eventually headed back too his homeland of Westmarch to find him. He wandered the tow for weeks when he bumped into a man in the alley behind the local tavern...
Behaviour: Reserve, meditates every morning at sunrise, in balance with nature
How you were captured: I wasn't BITCH
--==Weaponry, Armor, and Powers==-- (Pick a maximum of 6)
-Weaponry: Staff enchanted by the Horadrim.
-Armor: Though leather robes and enchanted gloves
-Powers: If training at the Monk Academy counts...
Desciption: Halcyon is an angel of immense stature. He stands well over six feet tall, has a well built physique, and can defend himself even without weapons or armor. After the Angiris council banned him from Heaven, they disallowed him from achieving his angel form, only being able to become angelic in times of danger or when defending his coveted mortals. The council sees him as a median between their watchful eye and actual intervention in Sanctuary.
Background: Halcyon, the angel of Mercy, was one of the few who supported the destruction of Sanctuary. He later grew sympathy for the mortals, seeing as how they were too weak and deserved life, though how insignificant they were and how corrupted they would soon become. His decisions soon became more wild and he eventually began to envy mortality. After attempting to fornicate with a mortal woman, the Angiris council shunned him from Heaven and cursed him to roam Sanctuary forever. Little did they know that that was what Halcyon wanted all along; to frolic among humans forever, revel in their innocence, and partake in their primitive traditions. He defends the humans from attacking demons and roams from town to town, keeping a watchful eye over their inhabitants. There are many stories of folklore about him and his nature, praising him as a defender and keeper of peace throughout Sanctuary.
Behaviour: Halcyon blends in well with the inhabitants of Sanctuary. He is jolly, well-tempered, and amiable enough to curb even the most hardened of hearts. In his mortal form, he dons the appearance of a fair man, one who the women of Sanctuary adore for his looks and composure alone. He often has unkempt hair and barely keeps any water on his person, so it's usually difficult for him to look anything but scraggly. He appears experienced and wise, but has a childish nature in a sense that he exhibits the primal need of forgiveness and reconciliation. He rarely ever speaks out of turn, likes to satisfy people, and is quick to defend even those who don't deserve such forgiveness.
Halcyon was captured in the maelstrom of the Taedium attack. While trying to defend a family in their home, two gargantuan demons blindsided him and brutally attacked him. Unconscious, Halcyon was dragged to a caravan full of other captured allies, a caravan set to an unlikely doom.
--==Weaponry, Armor, and Powers==--
-Weaponry: Halcyon has an enchanted sword that he keeps on him at all times. After being attacked, it was confiscated by the demonic brutes and is now kept "safe" by one of the guards defending the caravan.
-Armor: Halcyon has a light suit of ebony armor that he dons in his angelic form. While in mortal form, he is seen wearing modest clothes and a dagger on his person for when he deals with demons of the lesser sort.
-Powers: Halcyon is an expert in frost magic. Apart from a basic ice bolt attack, he is able to enchant any weapon that he holds with a sheet of ice, increasing overall damage. His favorite attack, however, is encasing enemies in am impenetrable cage of ice that can only be broken from the outside.

I hate the way you cling to ignorance and pass it off as innocence
Eye Colour: Glowing red (but most of the time it's just sockets)
Desciption: The picture above is what he looks like when light shines on him, but his features dramtically change when darkness subdues him. He cloaks himself with it, and forms a black mirage with glowing red eyes and a black claws. When he walks in darkness, he is seen wearing armor and a black helmet with thorns. He also wields a white sword.
Background: Litharius was one of the most trusted and strongest generals in the eyes of Heaven for years. His siege on Hell usually ended up success and he was a hero and public figure in the eyes of Heaven. Once, outnumbered 20 to 1, he held off the hordes of Hell for 2 full years. For his heroics, he was given the Sword of Light, an ancient relic of Heaven that became Litharius's weapon for the rest of his life.
Then one day, he was given the task to hold off a demon horde at Kurast, which was more of a easy task in Heaven's eyes. However, Litharius chose his most trusted advisor, Ignarius, as his lieutenant to aid him in the battle. However, Ignarius double crossed him, and abandoned Liharius at the mercy of the demon horde.
Litharius was then corrupted by the spawns of the Burning Hells. His identity removed and replaced with a new name, "MorteDor". Litharius features then became disfigured and demented, while he kept his Sword of Light. The demons then released him into the Sanctuary to wreck havoc.
However, the demons that corrupted Litharius's soul were destroyed, and his mind then regained the images of his past, causing him to go into a frenzy. Demons no longer trusted him and disowned him. Heaven no longer allows anyone to enter, and think that Litharius is finished. He is now an independent twisted soul living in the Sanctuary, trusted by no one.
Before his fall, his virtues were Truth, Light, and Strength.
Behaviour:
His disturbed mind gives him a sense of talking to a medallion he wears on his neck, which is his last artifact from Heaven. He usually sides with the demons, but when he saved the man from death from the demon lord, he regained trust to humans. He is usually violent and kills those he does not like. His wisdom in battle is his greatest strength, but his intelligence otherwise is mediocre. He relies on other wiser beings to make decisions for him.
How you were captured:
For most of his fallen times, MorteDor was a servant to the legions of Hell. But when he regained his consciousness, he befriended a human that led him to join a resistance. Yet when he started to kill the the resistance members, the resistance betrayed him by leading him right into a pit of demons. They caught him and put him in a caravan.
--==Weaponry, Armor, and Powers==-- (Pick a maximum of 6)
(This is where you choose your characters armor, weaponry, and powers. It is restricted at 6 to prevent absurdly overpowered character, so basically you can’t give your dude every trick in the book. You don’t HAVE to fill all 6 slots, though it is put at a rather high number so people have freedom of creativity)
-Weaponry:
Sword of Light: A relic that he kept from being a general from heaven. It deals enormous damage is able to shatter most armors.
-Armor:
Demon Plate: A demon plate made by the original MorteDor for him. It is able to easily withstand non-magical weapons and gives good defense for magical ones.
He also wears a non magical thorned helmet. I don't think that it should count as it's just for decoration
-Powers:
Darkness Powers: One of the main reasons he got the name "The Walking Shadow". He able to disintegrate his body into a dark vapor and use this to destroy his minions. This state makes him immune to physical attacks (he's pretty much darkness vapor) but he can be hurt by magic attacks. He is also very fast in this state, which is different from his normal state. He is also able to use Dark Powers like Doom and Destruction.
Light Powers: His angelic abilities are somewhat chaotic, but he they did remain with him. Most of his power comes through his sword but he is able to make some light power with his hands.
Strength: He is slow in his normal state, but he is very strong. So strong, that he can crush a human skull using his hands.
War Wisdom: During battle, he is a very smart being and knows how to destroy the enemy forces. He is NOT, however, good at coming up with tactical moves outside the battle field, like where to go and etc.
Age: Unknown, he was born before the Worldstone shattered
Height: 7.1 feet
Weight: 150 kg
Eye Colour: Black. As in, the whole eyeball is black
Desciption: Taller than an average human, medium-built. Brown fur, exept the hands and feet, which are greyish. Massive grey beard and very long and dirty grey hair. The horns point unusually more forward than a common goatman. The whole face and body have an air of disimulated peace, of fake tranquility.
Background: Agnesh used to one of his tribe's hunters. Being very young when the worldstone shattered, he had time to train, and is now one of the fastest goatmen of his tribe. Most hunters fire bolts at their prey to take them down, but Agnesh enjoyed chasing them and decapitating them with his short sickle.
After a pretty normal and happy childhood, Agnesh became an adult, recognized for being very cold-headed. He started teaching young goatmen the art of hunting and became very fond of his youngest and best student, Tyrönn, who reminded him of himself. They used to go hunting together, gathering more preys than the usual 4-goatman hunting group.
One night, he was abruptly woken by an ear-splitting shriek. He got up, grabbed his sickle and stepped out of his tent in a hurry, but there was nothing he could do. His tribe was being slaughtered by a horde of demons: they were outnumbered, caught off guard, and most of the tribe were women and children, to whom the demons showed no mercy. A thought came rushing into his head, and he sprinted toward Tyrönn's tent. Before getting there, he saw him charging toward the back of a demon twice his size and slashing his throat. Another, even bigger demon saw this, grabbed Tyrönn by the head and smashed him onto the floor. Even through the sounds of screaming, slashing and fighting, he recognized the sound of the child's skull cracking. The mere brutality of it all sent Agnesh on a bloodrage. The demon saw him coming, evaded his frantic attacks and once again smashed his head onto the floor...
When he woke up, he was tied-up and blindfolded. He tried to move but a sharp pain shot through his head. He cursed himself for being so reckless. Rage had taken over him, when the first thing he had learnt when hunting was to keep a cool head. He made an oath to himself that he would never lose control again, but the little bug of vendetta was already crawling in his head.
Behaviour: Usually very calm. Very logical thinking. Not very talkative, he talks mainly to point out mistakes or make observations. He's not a leader, either he follows orders, or he disobeys them and goes on his own, but he's not comfortable giving them. However, he sometimes snaps, blinded by uncontollable rage and attacks whoever's nearby.
How you were captured: <see background>
--==Weaponry, Armor, and Powers==-- (Pick a maximum of 6)
-Weaponry: Normal Sickle, Normal Crossbow
-Armor: Normal Leather clothes
-Powers: Extra Fast, Knowledge of enemy's weak spots, Enrages (In Diablo terms, sacrifices some dexterity to boost his strenth and vitality for a while)
Text Colour: Brown
Wow, I'm actually proud of this. I always hate my characters. I particuarly enjoy how every weapon and power is tied to his background.
And he's not overpowered! I guess I'm not getting punched on the dick.
Weight: 110lbs. Lack of weight shows his inability to wear heavy armour or wield anything ridiculous of size as well. He is more nimble, quick, and using lighter weapons.
Eye Colour: A bland shade of gray.
Kobolox’s Evils: Manipulation, Death. Kobolox is a sneaky demon who prefers to lay low and let his underlings do the job. However, he has been trapped within the body and soul of a young child who has grown and begun to mature. Kobolox refuses to lend his powers to the boy, and had never been allowed to make a deal with Etapas because of his clan’s ability to subdue their inner demons. However with the clan gone and Etapas being the remaining survivor, Kobolox may finally be able to make his move. Kobolox enjoys feeling his power through the swift, graceful death of his enemies – at least Etapas has shown talent in that area already. Maybe with Kobolox’s gift, the boy will grow to be a true warrior and one that could easily rival the powers and potential of his sister.
Physical description: Etapas is a short, thin boy who lacks a lot of muscle, but wields a lot of skill and balance. He wears a dark green leather shirt with brown leather pants. He has open-toed, black shoes and wears a black robe over all of his clothing. His hair is a deep, dark tint of green. All the dark clothing he wears contrasts the paleness of his white skin colour. His pants and robes have several pockets in them that contain knives and daggers. The robes come down all the way to his wrists, and contain twin blades that are have no handles and are attached to his forearm (but attachment cannot be seen). On the back of his neck is a clear white circle with a black outline.
Weaponry: Dual blades (1), Throwing daggers (2).
Armour: As stated in the description, normal leather clothing a a simple black robe containing weapon. (3)
Powers: Agile/flexible (4), skillfill with light-weight blades (5), Secret Power (6)
Behaviour: Etapas is a quiet, yet determined individual. He is very sensitive to certain terms such as being called a failure, etc. He is also fairly loyal for a boy is age, but is not very social and may have issues representing his feelings at times as well getting his point across. When it comes to communication, he will avoid talking and let others speak in his spot. Etapas is also paranoid and very anxious, which is the main issue stunting his loyalty to others.
Back story: Etapas’s clan – The Velnias Indas (Demon Containers) live in isolation around the grand Nymyr Mountain Range. Every member of the clan is born being a soul container to a specific demon. The demon within each and every member, however, lays dormant and rarely affect the host with one exception: the host receives the ability to effect one aspect of the world. The most common powers to arise in this clan is elemental manipulation, such as the ability to wield the mighty flames, the calming waters, and the unpredictable wraith of nature itself.
Within each generation; however, there are a few children who are born with more ‘absurd’ and different powers. Two of these – the ability to manipulate gravitational fields, and the other having the ability to manipulate electromagnetic fields had both coexisted in two lovers. Members of the clan had been mesmerized by the complex abilities these two wielded and all began to wonder: would their children be born with equally impressive powers?
Several years later the two lovers married and gave birth to twins: one boy and one girl. At the tender age of five the young girl – Erdeve – had already begun to show her powers and had proven to be the more promising of the two children. Erdeve had shown the wondrous power for the manipulation of space and location. She could instantly teleport herself or others (against their will), as well as mere objects. She could also move items with her mind alone, allowing her to stay from a distance and manage create a wall of common items that could be turned into deadly tools. As soon as she had matured, she had easily become the strongest member of the clan and had spread knowledge of her clan to nearby towns such as Caldeum, Gea Kul and Kurast.
The boy, Etapas, had shown no ability whatsoever and had been deemed a failure, in both the eyes of his parents and the rest of their clan. Young Etapas had always trained hard to live up to his parents' expectations, but he never could come close without ever harnessing any power – even if it was simple fire manipulation. His hard work though, did make him an exceptional hand-to-hand fighter and he became rather adept at using claws, knives, daggers and short swords. The speed of his techniques and his reaction timing was unheard of – but in the face of any other clan member he was still nothing.
When the boy was only 16 years old though, the Jungles around Nymyr had been wiped out clean by the invasion of the Burning Hells and their demonic legions. The clan tried to hold off the seemingly limitless numbers of demons, but they were eventually overwhelmed and even Etapas’s sister had eventually fallen in battle. As a last attempt to save the clan, Erdeve had spent her last ounce of energy teleporting her brother to the top of Nymyr, where he would be safe so long as he remained hidden.
Living in the wild after the invasion had slowly made Etapas even more adept at fighting, and hardened him into a survivalist capable of lasting in any environment and climate. He had learned the art of setting traps as well as laying down sentries. However he still felt at home fighting with short bladed weapons, especially his twin blades, known as Tamsa and Irus, which he hides in his sleeves.
Text Colour: Dark Green
Side notes:
1.The names are all in another language, and I won't reveal their English terms quite yet, for fun.
2. "Erdeve" is pronounced "Er - Dev - Eh"
3. When I do thoughts, I use italics, if I'm talking I will use quotations.

Desciption: Scorpius is quick and agile for a human. Has some muscle on him, but would look more at home with bookworms instead of brawny farmers. Is a bit of a loner, but does like to be with a small to moderate group of people. The most peculiar feature is his eyes, a color that is almost never seen in a human. Can not use magic to light a damn candle to save his life, let alone summon the forces of nature. Has a feathered companion, which some believes he has some Druidic ancestry. Doesn't do to well in hot situations, but will thrive in cold situations. Has an exceptional skill in fishing and cooking. Has a thing about drinking a LOT of drinks, especially tea based drinks.
Background: Grew up in a village of Druids, but no matter how hard he trained, he couldn't master the magics of Nature. Spent most of his time fishing and cooking, gaining a reputation among the villagers as a reputable chef. Met Tyr and he came across her, while looking for a new place to fish. She must have fell out of the nest and seemed abandoned by her mother. She was taken care of and became a long time companion that won't ever leave his side. Once the Druids accepted the fact that he couldn't use magic, they tested him using several weapons, finding that the daggers and longbow suited him best. He trained very hard with these two weapons and became exceptionally skilled with them.
Behaviour: Very calm and watchful. Handles stress very well and is easy to get along with. Tends to do the reconnaissance missions. Has a sense of honor, and gives respect to everybody.
How you were captured: Scorpius was out one morning, fishing for the day's breakfast. As he sat and drank his cup of green tea, waiting for the first fish to bite. Suddenly an Imp appeared and clubbed him before he could respond. Tyr took off to find help which was too late to save him.
--==Weaponry, Armor, and Powers==--
-Weaponry: Longbow Stinger and a pair of Daggers for close quarters combat. These are his signatures and are etched with runes describing his personality. They are bound to him and can be called upon if needed. They were a gift from a talented blacksmith with whom he did work for and helped out of a couple tight situations.
-Armor: A light weight scale armor that gives moderate protection to missiles and some melee weapons. A dark, well-worn cloak that looks like an ordinary cloak. It gives camouflage and a lot of protection against magic.
-Powers: Has a feathered companion named Tyr, a Peregrine Falcon. Uses an extremely toxic Scorpion venom on both daggers and arrows, which can take out any demon. Has a heightened ability to sense what is going on around him, even if nobody else knows that something is lurking nearby.
Text Colour: This is my color.

Damn your guy's background stories are really cool. Ullion did you come up with that by yourself? If you did, then damn...
Lt. Venom, you should post a pic of your guy. I want to see how Scorpius's companion looks like because either I missed something or you didn't explain him.
Lol, I came up with it myself. ^^' Thanks Mars I don't know why, but I absolutely love making characters for Role Playings. Everyday I go to work and come back, I have a 45 minute drive and I listen to music, so I have lots of time for inspiration and thinking. And after several of those everything seemed to fall in place. I'm really glad you like it though!

One becomes strong when they are fighting to protect someone close to them... - Shiro Haku
Haha I can tell. But I know what you mean. It's so much fun creating stuff for yourself. My background story blows compared to all of your guys' ones though.
Description: Mayh is a sabre cat, so she's a tall female human-like bipedal with feline features (eyes, mouth, nose, ears, fur, tail, claws and feet).
Her fur is crimson with black strings in the back and sides and white in the inner part (imagine a red tiger). She uses a pony-tail black and white hair.
She wears a armor composed of bandages coiled around some parts of her chest, arms and forelegs with brass plates in most exposed parts (breasts, arm and legs). The bandages are orneted with blood symbols indicating her past position and authority as "death priestess" of her clan. She also wears a brass circlet, necklace and earrings craved with ruby and emeralds.
She carries a small leather survival pack, a golden double bladed axe with permanent blood stains and a whip.
She has delicate features, yet her face expression are usually hostile.
Background: Daughter of the "death priestess", she was designated to once take her mother's place as runner of sacrificial and future telling ceremonies in her clan, the "Crimson Wind" (better known as "Hell Cats" by humans for the hostility compared to the other sabre cat clans).
Once the Wanderer crossed the desert and spread around his evil influence, the clan elders quickly felt in corruption and started to change the nomadic and hunting traditions of the clan, creating a alliance with the demonic creatures and attacking human camps, caravans and cities. Ironically Mayh's mother, the death priestess, did not fell in corruption and started to rebel against the elder's authority. Mayh was convinced by the elders that her mother has maddened and was a heretic, promoted her as new priestess and ordered the execution of her mother. Mayh, blinded by the elder's words, decapitated her mother in her first execution ceremony, sealing her position as death priestess. Fearing Mayh could turn out to be just like her mothers, the elders hided the Sabbath, the sacred axe of the death priestess, a needed tool for most of the rituals. She was nothing but a puppet of the corrupted elders, too young to see the truth.
Years passed and the Crimson Wind clan raided many humans, running torture and cruel rituals with the captive, growing stronger with every attack. However, when the World Stone was shattered, the demonic powers of the elders started to fade. Afraid of losing their position, the evil elders returned the Sabbath to Mayh, hoping she could run the rituals to serve then.
Those tecnics consists of seen someone's past by watching he's blood stain in the axe, and seen someone's future by a mysterious and complex ritual of bathing in this person wielding the axe(see below). Using a small amount of blood from each clan member, she would be able to tell the entire clan's fortune.
In the ritual she saw demons slaving her people, using then for multiple kinds of atrocities, from pure sadistic torture to sodomy. She saw the elders turning into demonic avatars, running chaos and destruction, betraying their own kind.
Of course Mayh did not tell the truth about the future she saw. She was afraid and confuse, she started think about her mother and secretly rebelling against the elder's authority. Tormented by those vision, she searched for answers in her mother's past by using the blood stained stones inner grave.
Because of the blood condition, she could barely see her mother's past. But she saw the most important part: the elders selling their souls to the Lords of Hell, betraying her. She also felt her mother's grief when her only daughter was cruelly executed her. An unspeakable guilty and anger possessed Mayh. "I will dismember then, limb by limb" she promised.
Going back to the elder's temple, she tried to murder then. After a long fight, she could defeat then even through their still had some demonic power. However, the elder's guardians were summoned and she was overrun by the numbers. The elder's knew their couldn't kill her because the death priestess is just a too important idol for the clan, and govern without one would be impossible. Their hold her captive and knowing that only a Crimson Pelt, Mayh's family branch, could take the death priestess rank, their raped her. Soon her new child was born and taken from her to be the new death priestess in her place. She would be executed, like her mother, in her daughter's first ritual in a grim déjà vu.
The elders told a different version to their people, telling she had gone mad like her mother, but she had a secret child that would be raised as new priestess. This time not all sabre cats believed the elder's lie, and in a suicidal mission, attempted to release her from the prison before her daughter reach enough age to run the ritual.
At the cost of many companion's death, Mayh was freed and recovered the Sabbath. With no options left, she exiled herself from the clan, leaving her people, her vengeance and her daughter behind.
She became a grieved wanderer, hoping to gather strength and return to her home. However, many years has passed and the Crimson Wind became powerful and dangerous, under the lead of the corrupted elders and her daughter. When the demons took sanctuary and the deserts was painted red by the massive carnage, she knew that her visions was turning truth.
She found exile in the resistance and became a valuable warrior and info gatherer (by using her rituals). Also because of her axe she is known as "executioness".
Behavior:
Mayh is a prideful, aggressive figure. She's constantly stressed by her new way of life among the humans and other creatures and especially because they don't respect her authority as diviner (they usually treat her like mystic figure, not as spiritual one). Still she values her close companions. She is a very loyal person, but hardly thrust others.
Because of her past she has a great hatred towards demons and anything corrupted. She believes every single one of them should be executed. Mayh tends to respect and like angels because both tend to share a similar opinion about demons. She also values their discipline and loyalty.
Deep down she's depressed. She never forgot her tragedies and keep brooding a ever growing hatred against those who ruined and exiled her from her home.
How you were captured:
Mayh was capture in a resistance mission. She should "interrogate"(read their blood) a group of fallen leaders to know the location of their camps. Just a usual mission she guessed. But not this time...
For some reason a powerful demon was hidden in the fallen camps, and her group couldn't take him down. She was captured and taken in the caravan, remembering the terrible years she passed captive in the evil elder's prison.
--==Weaponry, Armor, and Powers==-- (Pick a maximum of 6)
-Weaponry [2/6]
*Sabbath: Her most precious object and main weapon. Sabbath is a average sized double axe. It is golden, ornate with tribal symbols and can be easily wielded with one or both hands.
This axe is a ancient relic and real legend for all saber cat people. In Mayh's tradition the axe is a blessed weapon created by her Goddess, Bastet, and given to the sacred family to advise the cat people with its holy powers. The truth is that Bastet is actually a VERY, VERY ancient sabre cat sorceress who was so powerful that was considered as a goddess among the cat people (and one of the most powerful arcanist of all times). This weapon was enchanted with powerful blood magic, a strange and ancient kind of magic long forbidden for it's brutality.
Sabbath has the following magical proprieties:
1. It's "sealed" weapon. This means its other entire magical proprieties only works in the hands of a Crimson Pelt heritage member. It's possible to be unseal this weapon, but it requires great knowledge in Bastet's school of arcanism.
2. The weapon is enchanted with blood magic. If the weapon is used with the intention of harm it's edge provokes wounds that cannot be naturally healed by ordinary medicine, provoking blood loss until the foe dry.
3. The weapon greatly amplify the blood magic power of its users. This is why Mayh and her mother can only use some rituals using this axe.
*Whip: By tradition, sabre cat fights using whips to strategic mid range combat, and Mayh is no different. She can use her whip in several ways: harassing, disarming and suffocating. The whip is not magical.
-Armor [1/6]
*Bided Armor: A vestment usually used by the spiritual leaders of the Crimson Wind clan, however it's original form is heavy ceremonial robe, but Myah changed it to fit her combat style. It offers very poor physical protection, but it's very light, allowing Mayh to use her agility to avoid attacks. The magical symbols are a magic enchantment that gives some resistance to curses.
-Powers [3/6]
*Blood Ritual: It's the ability to run several blood rituals learned in her priesthood. Those rituals are actually Batet's magic disguised as religious practices, but Mayh don't know that. Because Mayh learned it as a ritual, not as a magical practice, she does not know how to manipulate it at her will, so her blood "magic" is very limited. It consists of 3 rituals (spells) that she must use in a very methodic way, or else it doesn't work. The rituals are:
1. "Blood of the Past" or "Shaded Blood": It allows her to watch someone's past events by observing it's person blood stains in her axe .Despite this limitation, she has mastered this ritual, so she can use it a very wide way. For example, she can read someone's past by using sand stained with dry blood and even marrow, allowing her to view the past of skeletal creatures. However her reading is very limited in those cases (she can only see key moments in this creature lifetime, usually it's death). However if the blood is new, she easily see almost every single event in this person life. When Mayh has a emotional link with the person, she can also feel what the person was feeling while she watch the past.
She can read the blood of animals and demons too.
2. "Blood of the Present" or "Flowing Blood": She only mastered this ritual after her exile and it's the only ritual among the three that she can uses without her axe (even through it's weaker without it). It consists on consuming blood after a oration, healing her wounds if the blood belongs to a human, a animal or other natural creature from sanctuary. If the blood belongs to a corrupted entity or a demon, it still heal her wounds and even amplify her strength, but causes deadly damage to her after certain duration, like a "berserker bomb". She never rune this ritual using angelic blood, but theorically it has the same effect as using demon blood.
3. "Blood of the Future" or "Fate's Blood": Its the hardest ritual which she performs only in dire need. It consists of extracting a large amount of blood with her axe, and taking a bath in it while doing a oration during a entire day. The location also count: she must be totally isolated, no interruption, no light, no sound. This ritual leaves her exhausted.
In cases of humans and sanctuary creatures, the ritual is a bitter irony. Since she needs a large amount of blood, it probably kills the person she wants to read the future, revealing a future that will never happen. However, if the person is very resilient (like a demon or a barbarian champion) she may run the ritual w/o killing the person.
She can also read the future of a group of persons, by mixing everyone’s blood. This offers no risk since it requires a low amount of blood, but the future sight are limited because it will only show the events that evolves all the group, not the future of each individual.
Again, this ritual is very dangerous and energy consuming. Using it with demon blood will probably kill Mayh. Also, the future vision is not perfect. It consist of a stream of flashes, so her interpretation greatly limit it's uses. Also the future can change if she uses the info she get to change some event.
I counted "Blood Ritual" as only one power since it fits the "magic school" thing. I know, those powers can be very strong, however they are also limited: they are not usable in combat and most requires preparation.
*Feline Traits: Special physical advantage she gets for being from a naturally stronger race then humans. It evolves super human reflexes, high running speed, silent movement and feline senses (night vision and smell).
*Combat Expertise: Even through Mayh is a priestess, in the Crimson Wind clan priestess must fight. Hunting, fighting other clans and training give Mayh the ability to wield her axe as a powerful warrior. However, she relies more on strategy and skill and less in brute strength.
Desciption: Muscular and solid in stature. His wings flow so to the human eye they look non-existent, but he can hide them from Demons to look like a human. (Also see picture)
Background: Before Sanctuary fell into the hands of Demons, Erragon was a guardian of one of the Holy Temples. For millenia he found joy in watching over this sanctuary, and had even disguised himself so that he could go in and watch as the humans worshiped. Before taking this post he spent a long time serving under Tyreal.
Behaviour: When around humans he is able to fit in, yet something about the way he moves and treats others is different than the rest of them. The innocent slaughter of humans infuriates him.
How you were captured: During the battle for Sanctuary, he was cut off from the rest of his brethren. During this time he fought and hid when he knew he was outnumbered trying to find his way back to the Heavens. But he wasn't tricky enough and was captured just as he thought he was safe, only because of the betrayal of the humans he swore to protect.
-Weaponry: See picture
-Armor: See picture
-Powers: He can utilize ice magic and lightning magic. His dexterity is so good that he has remarkable reflexes to defend as well as attack. his strength is such that when channeled properly he can bash his shield against the ground causing it to shake like a violent Earthquake, but this leaves him weakened for a brief time so it is not done all that much.

Recruiting for East Realm Also recruiting for Sc2 on both EU and NA servers
Background: Bane grew up in a clan of Goatmen who continued their separation with man. While the world stone's destruction may have ended their corruption, their blood rage and anger continued to coarse through their veins. Learning to distrust any outsiders, Bane and his tribe lived separated from the rest of Sanctuary. Soon, humans found their location and invaded their city. Living amongst humans, and not by choice, their clan slowly adopted their ways including their language. However, Bane was not quick to assimilate. Being blind, the children, both human and goatman, teased him constantly. His anger would erupt as he acted out violently towards his oppressors.
One day, Bane snapped while kids were throwing rocks at him. He ran up to the first child he could find and slammed the kids face into the ground. Bane stomped his hooves onto the child repeatedly until the child laid dead. Outraged by the incident, the humans reacted quickly and hastily and marched towards Bane to kill him. Without any other choice, Bane fled his city where he wandered the vast plains. However, this isolation gave Bane the chance to learn how to use his disability as an advantage. Hunting at night in the pitch dark, Bane had the upper hand.
After years of living like this, Bane decided it was safe for him to return home. He made his way back only to find that his city was in ruins. The smell of blood and smoke filled the air. The smell of his dead brethren sent Bane into a rage. He began running around the city, trying to find anyone and everyone responsible for this atrocity. He smelled some demons around the corner of the street with a few surviving people. Running after them without any thought, Bane ran himself right into an ambush. Seven demons quickly swarmed around Bane. He fought with all of his strength but he was no match for their numbers. He was captured and thrown in with the rest of the few surviving citizens.
Knowing that he could not win this battle against the demons on his own, Bane has reluctantly accepted help from anyone else willing to raise arms against the invading demons as soon as the opportunity arrives.
Behaviour: Short tempered, distrusting, and quick to react (sometimes without thinking).
How you were captured: See background.
-Weaponry: Axe, razor sharp claws/horns
-Armor: Thick skin
-Powers:
Bloodlust - The smell of blood fuels his rage sending him in to a relentless fury.
Blindness - While a disability to most, he has used it to his advantage. Using smell, sound, and feel, he can see just as well as anyone else but he can also see in the darkest of areas.
Speed - While not super quick, he has above average speed.

Lt. Venom, you should post a pic of your guy. I want to see how Scorpius's companion looks like because either I missed something or you didn't explain him.
She doesn't like it when people refer her as a him, but sure I can post a couple pics of her. My character, I cannot due to my sucky picture finding skills.
Isn't she a pretty bird?

Race:
For demons and angels, you need a background story, AND you must choose to include several evils/virtues associated with your character (1-3 evils/virtues). Repeat, virtues and evils are for angels and demons ONLY. So If I made a demon, I could choose to associate hatred, deception, and destruction with my character. This would affect the feel of my demon, the powers he has, and his personality
Behaviour: A blurb about how your character acts/ their personality.
How you were captured: Characters MUST be captured at the start of the RP. Players will begin as prisoners in a demon caravan rounding up resistance in Sanctuary. Angels, rogue demons, goatmen and humans will all be within the same caravan guarded by demons.
--==Weaponry, Armor, and Powers==-- (Pick a maximum of 6)
(This is where you choose your characters armor, weaponry, and powers.

Cang Zhi
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Height: 5'10''
Weight: 150
Eye Colour: Green
Description: See above
--==Weaponry, Armor, and Powers==-- (Pick a maximum of 6)
-Weaponry: Staff enchanted by the Horadrim.
-Armor: Though leather robes and enchanted gloves
-Powers: If training at the Monk Academy counts...

Race: Angel
Height: 6' 3"
Weight: 174
Eye Colour: Hazel
--==Weaponry, Armor, and Powers==--
-Weaponry: Halcyon has an enchanted sword that he keeps on him at all times.

Name: Litharius, MorteDor, "Walking Shadow"
Gender: Male
Race: Fallen Angel
Height: 7 feet
Weight: 370
--==Weaponry, Armor, and Powers==-- (Pick a maximum of 6)

Text Colour: Light Green
Erase the instructions for each section, and purple was already claimed by me.

Edit: Saw that another guy chose light blue. Chose light green.
Name: Agnesh (right out ot "Names for Pet Goats")
Gender: Male
Race: Goatman

Wow, I'm actually proud of this. I always hate my characters. I particuarly enjoy how every weapon and power is tied to his background.

Inhabiting Demon Name: Kobolox
Race: Human
Age: 16 years of age
Gender: Male
Height: 5’5” – a short male for his age.

Gender: Male
Race: Human
Age: 24
Height: 5'-4"
Weight: 165
Eye Colour: Pale Grey (My RL eye color)
--==Weaponry, Armor, and Powers==--
-Weaponry: Longbow Stinger and a pair of Daggers for close quarters combat.
Lt. Venom, you should post a pic of your guy. I want to see how Scorpius's companion looks like because either I missed something or you didn't explain him.

Haha and it's no problem.
Gender: Female
Race: Sabre Cat (goat men-like background)
Height: 7.2 feet
Weight: around 85kg
Eye Color: Bright Yellow Cat's Eye
--==Weaponry, Armor, and Powers==-- (Pick a maximum of 6)
-Weaponry [2/6]

Name: Bane
Gender: Male
Race: Goatmen
Height: 6'4
Weight: 250 lbs
Eye Colour: White - he is blind
