Your arguement about "Go shoot a real gun" and all that stuff is true. I never did think of it like that. However I didn't say that's what they should do I said that it would be much more productive. I concede to Siay and Sofa, but Chaos just got extremely defensive just because I don't like the game like he does.
The reason I don't like the game is because it is completely mindless. All you do is watch the colors and flick the thing.
Yeah, my question is.. If you have guitar hero.. why do you need rockband? I think rockband would be better just because it has Welcome Home by Coheed and Cambria on it.
Pshhhuh! Maybe now, but my prescience is telling me the three of you are going on to discuss these games for pages long, reiterating all the points you already made about them.
I honestly don't mind trolling, I'll admit to doing it myself once or twice. The site I was at before here, I was there for about a year, and if you weren't an expert insulter you were looked down on. Kept your wits about you, that's for sure.
@Sofawall - I hear rock band guitar are wayyyyy better...
@Siaynoq - of course I have a Wii
@Whoever asked about rockband - it has moer then just guitar - vocals, and drums are added. And bass.
@Tehstickelman - yes I get a little spazzy sometimes. think what you will, but the real reason why I got pissy is just I'm tired of hearing the same comment over and over again "go learn to play real guitar" or "game sucks because it's not a real guitar". I am sorry for my foolishness along with I'm sticking to what I'm believeing. I just shouldn't of been of harsh in my words.
Also, the game isn't mindless. If you've played it it was probably on easy. It's bullshit on easy, way too boring. Medium starts to get fun. Unlike guitar it's probably not as fun at the start for others.
Watch youtube videos - Dragonforce Through the Fire and Flames expert. If you really believe the game is mindless then watch a video of it. It takes extreme skill and practice And have you even played it?

"Cards and flowers on your window, your friends all plead for you to stay,
sometimes beginnings aren't so simple, sometimes goodbye's the only way."
I don't understand where you get that from. No thought process? You have to have quick agility and be able to strum at right times, fast enough, and process the notes fast enough to play them. Takes a lot of concentration at times.
By the way, edited my post a bit above the one above this one. Read your @ again.

Which has nothing to do with thought process.
In fact, games that require thought process are extremely rare, and they are usually quests. The rest is thought process at grasping it and then it turns into reading guides and following them and practice...
So, I think Tehsticle doesn't like the idea that the game is arcadish. And arcadishness doesn't make a game easy. It just makes it very primitive.
i would be siked! if i could find a wii for retail price:(
thought process nounthe process of using your mind to consider something carefully
as for the whole thought process thing you guys are talking about, it would depend on what you define "thought process" as. i think that it takes very much thought process, your just in a rush... anything you do takes thought process, it is just a different experience than games that have quests or puzzles that you have to figure out. in games like ddr and guitar hero your just in a hurry trying to push the corresponding button, and though it becomes more familiar it still takes a lot of thinking...
Yeah I got rock band for the 360 and it kicks ass. The drums are wicked fun. The whole band part of it is pretty cool too. Get a couple of your buddies and bam! you're touring the world rocking out with your cock out.

And the drums are considered by many to be the hardest part.
yeah but i wonder if that's because a lot of people that have rock band have played guitar hero and got good at that first. so if drum hero came out first i bet the guitar would be considered hard.

Siaynoq's Playthroughs
And you have the same posts as me in this one.
EDIT: And in the other one I only had 24 posts. Equinox had the same as me...

Siaynoq's Playthroughs
Rock Band is Mic, Bass, Drums and Guitar, and most people want to master all of them, thus making it much tougher in the long run.
Siaynoq's Playthroughs
Lucky bastard .
Oh and i heard that the guitar is easier than Gh3 and that the drums are pretty much the main focus of it as no other major game has had them.
I agree, lucky.
And the drums are considered by many to be the hardest part.
I mainly want to play to see if the guitar stacks up against Guitar Hero.

Again, I'll pull the DDR card...
