I like those icecream bars that have all three. -
Jan 18, 2007cyks posted a message on That Sly BlizzardPosted in: NewsQuote from "PhrozenDragon" »Interesting. Looked uncomfortable eh? That's a sure indicator D3 is up their sleeve.
Quote from "Source" »According to our people on the ground, the Blizzard PRs "looked a bit uncomfortable" around this point. So that's welcome to the Internet the hard way, really.
To the tune I have been singing. -
Jan 3, 2007cyks posted a message on Happy New Year Diablo Fans!Posted in: NewsQuote from "Christ" »Question: If they're working on a title of some kind, aren't they obliged to show it in current projects?
Or is that only when the game is announced?
And it would be nice to get D3 since Diablo already exists 10 years... a D3 on the anniversary of Diablo, that would be cool
anyway I hope it comes out this year, I can't wait any longer!
Legally, they are only obligated to register Diablo 3 as a Trademark, and they have done so already. -
Jan 3, 2007cyks posted a message on Biggest Diablo 3 Information Yet!The fact that it should stay hack n' slash is not up for debate... uhh... Diablo 3 can certainly afford to take on stronger RPG characteristics, but not like those of TES. Maybe it is because the only compelling thing I can derive from TES is graphics and size... it's hard for me to say because I never really played Morrowind or Oblivion any longer than the few weeks I was hooked to it.Posted in: News
From the top of my head: strengths and weaknesses between classes and the like should be emphasized. Let Blizzard nerf what it will, but please-- for the love of god-- establish some order. For the PKers, the crawlers, the fiends... for everybody! -
Dec 25, 2006cyks posted a message on The Final Diablo 3 is Coming argumentEven before seeing that MSPaint video, I have always been defending the power of MSPaint against so many. It is highly underestimated. You may not have all of those fancy features (that come with a hefty price premium), but, as you can see, those bendable lines are very robust. Did you see how he took out the remaining pencil scratch by alternating painbuckets? I don't argue his skill, but give some credit to MSPaint too.Posted in: News
On topic: gogogo D3! -
Dec 25, 2006cyks posted a message on "Official" Diablo 3 PetitionDamn guys. I really don't want to give you all a hard time, but online petitions are not anywhere near as effective as hard copies signed in ink.Posted in: News
Reguardless, who honestly wants to rush the development of D3?
Honestly?
If this petition is under the assumption that Diablo3 was truely cancelled.... then I do want to give a hard time. Tell me what's up Dark. -
Dec 25, 2006cyks posted a message on Biggest Diablo 3 Information Yet!It is hard to say what IGN was thinking.Posted in: News
Perhaps it was a publicity stunt... and the turnout wasn't what Blizzard was expecting [,so they pull the plug]. Ever since we found the trademark for another Diablo title, nothing, IMHO, based on rumors should be completely shot down/ ignored. Video game development is a serious business. When will "The Burning Crusade" be released? Is it already out?
I would think that there is to be some time between the two releases. -

Oct 29, 2006cyks posted a message on d3 on the way?It takes longer than a year to make a game. It takes even longer to make a good game.Posted in: News
Blizzard keeps quiet because, as a business, they need to stay alert of their competition. Having WOW forms a great barrier to entry, but it is not enough. Different projects are undoubtedly underdevelopment, but if Blizzard up and anounces every little detail to the public, their competiton will likely plan against it. -

But then again, I don't like the way my news forum has become inundated with every little markup done to the official site.

I think it is safe to say that they have ALOT more completed than they crack themselves out to be.

Funny thing is, I have been here since before Jan/06 and for a long time everything has been "nothing but speculation." Now, it is far more than "nothing but speculation."

I expect to see some official announcements very soon now.

But before you go, I want you to know that this has nothing to do with warcraft...

I think he made a very good call on WOTLK, so I value this news feed.
