Skylor blinked and opened his eyes and looked around. He smiled wide as he looked the entire group over. He stood up and brushed off his robes then rolled up the small cloth he had been sitting on and looked at his mule.
The mule was still munching on a root given to him by the woman. The monk arched an eyebrow and chuckled in amusement.
"Goofy old mule." He said and then he turned his attention to the the paladin. "You travel on a noble quest you say? Hrm...that is a very interseting medalion. I think maybe whomever made it has much fear in their heart but anyway that's neither here nor there."
Skylor put his rolled up padding back on a satchel that the mule carried and then grabbed his spade staff which he had left on the ground. He planted the spade end into the ground with the cresent facing the sky.
"Well sir knight do you think you can travel with an excummunicated paladin of Torm?" The monk smiled. "Because that's what I am. If you can travel with someone that was thrown from the church because of actions unbecomming then I will gladly travel with you to try and spread inner peace and tranquility, in addition with that I can heal when I need to and I hit pretty hard too."
Yes DnD had many different campaigns. They had the dragon lance setting as well as many others. It is all still DnD though so I didn't list them all as seperate choices.
The mule continued to back away from the group. When the lady pulled the root out it stopped backing up. He looked at the monk for a few moments and then he stepped forward toward the woman. The mule took hold of the root in it's teeth and pulled it away and then began to chew on it.
I know that blizzard has not forgotten about diablo. This was one of the games that really made them famous. I would have never in my life known what blizzard was if not for diablo and most of my gaming friends are the same way. Very few of us started with warcraft most came from diablo and expanded to play more blizzard games.
The monk did not even flinch at the shouting from the paladin. He sat there continuing to hum away and meditate. He gently rocked back and forth as he hummed. His arms were laying idle on his crossed legs with both of this hands hanging over his knees the thumb and middle finger touching together.
The mule started when the man in armor shouted. It began to back away from the group and away from the monk. The pots and pans and the bags on its back rattled, clanked, and moaned (leather type moan) as the mule moved away from the group.
Maybe diablo is just "top secret" as the job postings say.
That would be a very interesting thing if it's true. I don't know why blizzard is trying to keep it a secret anyway. Maybe THEY don't know exactly what it will be yet.
"What do all men with power want? More power.." ~The Oracle~
In this case, in this world, money means power, and there's never enough of it.
I will assume also that paying 2500 salaries is expensive as well as the massive amounts of real-estate they have to have in various countries for Blizzard representation there on top of the extremely massive amounts of top-end computers and servers required to keep their games going.
