Very interesting indeed.
Thinking about the trophy case...
My UDIE2 mod editor has an item store in it and it has all manner of odd things that you can't put in game. Such as an ear, tail, fang, horn, elixir, etc. There are also some quest items in game like the golden bird, the organs, horadric scroll, etc.
Maybe that was supposed to be a vault to keep the items after you've completed quests. As for the items that never made it in game, maybe they were things that were cut due to "time constraints."
Regardless it still doesn't explain the chat gem. -,-

I think it would be great if they had a My Little Pony Secret Level but I don't want a t-shirt like that. It is funny but nothing I would spend money to have. -
Oct 11, 2008viciousnugget posted a message on Character Stat AssigningDamn I don't even know what to say about this. This blows my mind and not in a good way. I always liked the fact that I could use charms and gear bonuses to give me the strength needed to wear my gear so I could pump my vita up. I always thought it was great to mow down hordes of monsters while some kid in the back is hollering "Where is your gear? Are you naked?" It was always a challenge to squeeze every last bit of strength from charms and such to make my toon fully strength glitched. I sacrificed precious inventory space to make my builds happen. I guess on the bright side now I can just load up on mf charms(if they even exist in d3) and mow through the hordes while Blizzard tells me what items I should wear. Pitiful what this game is becoming. Next up...auto skill distribution. This is a bad bad thing. I am having trouble seeing the positives of this system.Posted in: News

Who knows maybe I am wrong about it being on the wizard but it will surely be in the game. You can quote me on that.Posted in: News

Oct 10, 2008viciousnugget posted a message on New Class Announced: The WizardAww man this is killing me. I am at work and the firewall blocks all videos and links. I only saw the char selection screen. I already know what class I will be. Wizard. Hands down. I love being the caster class. My first chars were always the caster type. I haven't even had a chance to see what all this fuss is about but I am sure as shit I will be a female wizard as soon as I get this game installed. Now that they have satisfied me the hard part begins. Picking a name for my little chica. I can't wait to get home and watch the new gameplay vid and all the screenshots.Posted in: News

The longer I sit here reading the news and thinking about it, The less I look forward to playing it. I just feel like it will be so much different and not in a good way. I was so excited the day they announced it I couldn't get rid of my stiffy but now it seems the honeymoon is already over before there was a chance to acquaint myself. I can deal with the graphics, I can deal with the colorful environment, I can deal with new characters. I don't know maybe I just can't deal with all this negativity that follows Diablo 3. It's starting to turn me off. I can almost see myself just getting the game to beat it and check the story out then hopping back on D2. I may have to force myself to like it just to get through it.Posted in: News

Jul 8, 2008viciousnugget posted a message on Diablo III PK and PvPPosted in: NewsQuote from "HaF_613" »PK'ing and Dueling are essential parts of Diablo, Especially in HC where I played. It adds a certain fear and adrenaline rush to the game and keeps you on your toes... I don't think the Diablo I style PK'ing should be brought back, but definately keep the D2 style. I don't think the game would be fun for so long without the PK and "PKK's" out there. Its a whole other element and it was always one of the things that kept my heart beating fast. Don't take that away. It was fair enough to give people a chance in d2 and it should remain that way.
I agree playing on hardcore and being hostile definitely made my browneye pucker a little. I have been both pker and pked. You win some you lose some but it definitely added a certain element that is missing from alot of games. If people want to say it is a waste of time and detracts from the main point of game, I ask this. Isn't playing a game a big waste of time in itself? I feel it is. I have wasted many years on D2 already and one of the things I enjoy is being able to fight my friends as well as random people. The only kind of pker I am not fond of are the hacker ones that tppk. That crap is just cheap. However it is quite fun to have a hostile mf game. I hope they keep some form of pvp in the game even if it a certain area in town that you must be in to attack your opponent. -
Jun 29, 2008viciousnugget posted a message on Diablo III Denizens of Diablo PanelDo they intend to retain the 3 tier difficulty: Normal, Nightmare and Hell? If so, do they plan to make Hell difficulty harder or possibly add another level of difficulty such as Armaggedon/Apocalypse?Posted in: News
What might the max character levels be?
What plans do they have for getting Beta keys out to people like me?
I'd really like one of those. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

Mage plate is a good armor to make enigma out of. Low strength requirements and if unsoc'd it will get 3 soc everytime from socket quest.
If you are wanting magic find stick with the shako. Overall the best helm for a druid is Jalal's Mane. Shako works alright too if you are aiming for higher mf.
I hope I answered your question. Goodluck

Yes. That is exactly what I am talking about. More conversation from the badass monsters in the game. Good idea on lines being triggered by your health gauge or actions you perform.
And no he doesn't say anything besides: Not even death can save you from me.

I understand how Diablo 2 already has that in a way. There are rings and gloves and all kinds of stuff that adds charges of cross-class skills. They were mostly never used simply because they weren't useful mods.
I mean what Barb at level 90 is going to use charges of level 3 fire bolt from a ring?
0
Yeah definitely if they added something like this it would have to be skills that aren't part of any tree on any character. Maybe bring back some skills from D2 that wouldn't make it into the game otherwise. Something like lower resist curse maybe. Since the necro isn't making a return. Just a thought of mine.
1 question this brings to mind: Would you be able to enhance the skills with runes as the others can?
0
The easy way around this is to just wait 5 mins for game to perm, exit and rejoin.
I'd have helped but I was sleeping.
I'm a bit curious too to see if he got help or how long he waited for it. lol

I hate when I can't hide my thoughts.
If I'm lucky it'll be for 25 bucks!

I'm single but I am celebrating Valentine's Day. I got my parents cards and candies. The girl is getting a teddy bear and a card and if things go as planned I'll get what I had in mind.

Also one thing I would like to see or rather hear is unique monsters talking smack. You'd get the little guys spouting off rakinishu's name but the unique monsters never said anything unless it was like the smith or the hellforge guy.
I'd like for a good majority of unique monsters to say things to get your attention. They should also say different things depending on if you are in solo play or party play. Instead of the smith saying: I shall make weapons from your bones! While that may make sense in solo play he should say something like: You are all going to die! When in party play mode. Just an example.
It's probably a stupid suggestion but I think it would add to the game just a little. It may make it more fun when the monsters say some random things. Your thoughts?

I call bullshit. Normal Tristram you say?
It is my understanding that certain items can only drop in higher level areas of the game.
Which is why you don't see Zakarum or Gilded shields dropping in normal at all. You see plenty of kite shields, heraldic shields, light gauntlets and low level stuff in normal difficulty.
What you don't see are the Ogre gauntlets and Archon plates and such. Total bullcrap.
If you mean hell tristram I might be a believer. I found a perfect BK ring in trist also found a nice eth dusk shroud there.
On topic: Around 350-400% magic find is all I have ever needed to get good drops. A lot of luck comes into play. I have had days that I find 3-4 godly uniques in a few hours and other times I go weeks without a decent item dropping. The trick is kill kill kill. When you get tired of that kill kill kill some more. Eventually something is bound to drop. Patience and persistence is a must.

You are correct sir and I shall stop asking questions now. Though there are many more I have in mind. Another time perhaps.

I must agree with you here. I tried using the high priced gear for my meteorber. She did fine but with Tals she simply kicks ass. I love Tal set above all others. And it is dirt cheap compared to all the high end uniques people aim for.
0
Of all the sets I think Tal Rasha's is my favorite. Then again I am a sorc freak so naturally I like that set over the others. Griswold's is also a nice set I think. Although I have never found the corona myself. I always had to trade for it.
Most of the lower sets I don't bother saving simply because they have little to no use and I'd rather save the mule space for items I will use or trade.

I am not too clear on what you said though. The game crashes or it takes a lot of tries to get in?
The simplest way to get in the portal is if you have the ability to teleport. Simply teleport on the portal and bam you're in. If you don't have teleport click as close to the portal as possible and your character will move just a bit closer and bam you're in.
If the game crashes on you then definitely check with support or reinstall the game. There is some error that needs to be corrected.
Goodluck.
