I'm also guessing from the slide, and previous screen someone linked on these forums earlier this week, that we're down to just 4 types of gems? Well they only showed 3 runes so either they are just picking some things to show all of or they cut back our customization alot.
True. The thing is, I severely doubt they'd cut the runes down to 3, it's all about not putting to much on the screen. The gems however, as said, would be logical.
The previous screens I mentioned, did show ruby adding spelldmg when socked in a weapon. Likewise the sapphire added magic find in helmets, and amethyst added attacks per second in wep and move speed in helm.
I do agree we don't need too many gem types.

This is the class I've been wanting to play since I saw it. It's like being Goku in D3. No sets. Only 1 new skill. Don't even know what his special movement skill is going to be. I did watch the 18 min gameplay video to try to see new monk abilities. The only thing I noticed was ALOT of lightning coming off of the Monk which makes me excited. Lightning is definitely my fav element of the game. Anyone else have any insight?

I was also thinking about the grenades. Would be cool if one of the runes made them into stickies.
