I think MFers ruin the game all together. They don't appreciate the game for what it is.
MFers wouldn't really have a need for these items though with the item having no trade value. The only reason to get the drop is to change your gamme play and if all your doing is MF then these drops aren't worth anything. They could also make these items not effected by MF stats.
Edit: with the items being random drops you could keep getting these items at level 90 so you can still change your character and try something new without loosing your character. Plus this would add one more thing for high levels to do.

Mephisto's Lament posted a message on When Words Kill: "That's so gay"What the hell? That was very extreme, to say the least. I mean, everyone was bullied as a kid. I personally got into a fight with anyone that used to bully me, so it wasn't much of a problem back then, considering the fact that I didn't have any self esteem issues. The problem really is in the school. Few address the problem as serious, and just think "it's just kids being kids". It's idiotic.Posted in: General Discussion (non-Diablo) -

Heet_Crusher posted a message on What Bill Roper Thinks About Diablo 3.I understand where Roper is coming from. From all that i have seen which is very very little there isn't alot of gothic or dark feel. I just hope it is in there just not shown yet. Remember the maggot lair, the spider cavern, snakes, and all sort of other dungeons and lairs that were in the diablo universe. But it is too early to make any sort of decesion about the art style. But one thing he did state and it is one main reason i loved this game so much. it is he stated photo realistic I love that. I hate cartoony games not me never will be never ever. Why i do not paly WOW tried it hate it. Love th photo realistic feel with gothic universe.Posted in: News & Announcements -

Equinox posted a message on What Bill Roper Thinks About Diablo 3.I don't know how you measure the spirit (I am sure the games will NOT feel the same), and I don't consider DII photorealistic or approaching photorealism, at least due to exagerated and purposefully incorrect proportions as well as the use of darker colors than normal. It was stylized, in its own way, and I'd call it dirty-dark gothic isometric (as opposed to Diablo I's simply dark and Nox's neutral gothic isometric style).Posted in: News & Announcements
I do not believe DII and DI even feel the same.
DIII is doing something different and it's not the fault of 3D, they just decided to do it differently to begin with. DIII's style is sort of hard to see at the moment because they are using a medium-poly base and some things will change after they switch to higher poly... so far they are straying away from the gothic scheme, if you ask me. -

I agree that Diablo 2 aimed for highly-detailed photo-realism (which a 2D game can afford), and Diablo 3 aims for stylization (assuring a timeless quality). But they share the same spirit despite the difference in style.Quote from "Kenzai" »So do we actually all agree now that the style of the previous games were different in some ways while this isnt necessarily bad but is the reason why some who loved it more are mad? -

I never said anyone said that. That's just the impression I get from people who are totally opposed to respec.
I also never said that my example was a good idea (I said the opposite) and I also never said i thought it would be implemented...I said that is what people seem to be assuming will be implemented....sigh....
The point is. We don't know anything about the new skill system and we don't know anything about the respec...How can we assume anything, and if we are going to make assumptions why would we assume that it's going to be terrible. Why not hope for the best?

I remember hearing they didn't have stat requirements on items. Probably just level.
But that could always change.
