Oct 22, 2010Bouzouki posted a message on Character CustomizationThis is awesome. Revamping those systems was a great idea. Although the seven skills sound a bit Guild Wars-y, but that's okay, because Guild Wars skill system was great. And the traits reminds me of DnD or Fallout a bit, which is okay, because traits and perks work great! Customization is going to be epic. And people complained about auto-stats being a lack of customization.Posted in: News

I'd love to see that. A minor bubble ups into an explosion and some baddies crawl out. That'd be awesome.Quote from "temporalsky" »Clearly there should be arms bursting out of the ground in grave yards. What about having crazy burned looking freaks bursting out of the bubbling tar pits? Also, if the monster in the first gameplay trailor can bite off your head as it kills you, i think there should be a death mechanic to the freaky tar pit monsters killing you too. -

A WD skill would be tight as well, no doubt. xD - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

As a conductor (which, as a transportation person) am I cool with building roads as well? I plan to have a mine track go between the main village and outlying buildings, construction areas, mines, etc.

I'm still waiting for the mauls I've seen to get finished. >.< Yep, I'm one of those guys. And just like WC3 and TFT, I'm going to get my money's worth on custom games alone, by a wide margin.

I'm not worried about the game itself. Starcraft 2 was awesome, and I think D3 will be too. Diablo 3 isn't catered to niche people, it is what it is and it's been under the microscope for over two years now. It's not copy-pasta, you can draw those sort of comparisons with a lot of things. I'd rather have polish with a not so original UI idea than a broken new UI. It's going to look pretty on a high end machine, but able to run on something a few years old, as all Blizzard games do. That has been their philosophy for as long as they've been making games, I dunno why it's suddenly an issue. :\ The graphics for me are beautiful, one person said it was the "World of Diablo rendered to look like a painting." I agree.
I also believe the max player count hasn't been finalized yet, no? The level cap is also a ridiculous argument. If it takes you the same amount to get from 60 to 99, and is balanced around the game itself, what is the problem? Complaining for the sake of complaining? I'm legitimately curious.
EDIT: It makes me giggle when you say they were just copy-pasting to save time. If they were trying to save time, then why am I not able to play D3 before the apocalypse?
