I think it will be good. Not at the start, of course. No new game is good at the start. It's buggy as hell!
But given the time, I'm sure it will be a great hit. NCSoft is a fairly good gaming host.

posted a message on Monk not good enough now?
Computers cannot, and never will, determine a battle like the way that show does. I refuse to believe any results from that show.
They put Weapon vs Weapon, then do, what, 500vs500 on a computer? Where is the tactics? The user of the weapons abilities as a fighter?

This is just what I have to say about it. I never once thought that a Monk wouldn't be awesome for D3, but even so, this is no hard evidence in the real world. As far as a game, sure, because that is what that show made it. A game.

posted a message on Feelings regarding BoE in 1.13?
It's a good idea, but I'd rather not. Simply because I often remake my characters after I get specific items that make my spent points in stats not needed. My first Hammerdin, for instance, had 130 Strength or so. After getting my Enigma, and all the other things, I realized I only needed 55str, which would save a lot for Vitality.
I would like to keep the flexibility of being able to recreate my characters without needing to get the armor all over again. If it were bound to the account, and not character, I'd like that more.

So, I saw this commercial on TV, and I immediately thought it was a trailer for another 2012 movie. I was wrong. It's real, and think of it as a joke, personally. I was just wondering everyone's view on this.
    Here is the site:

Some pretty interesting stuff there. The idea of smashing someones skeleton out is pretty cool, too. But I have to ask, what's this concept art thing going on? I don't recall seeing any concept art that seems to deserve so much hate.

posted a message on StarCraft II Delayed Until 2010.
I don't think this will delay Diablo 3. I doubt they were ever planning on releasing Diablo 3 anytime shortly after the release of Starcraft 2, anyway. While people are working on Battle.net, others are working on Diablo 3. If anything, this will make it a little easier so they don't finish Diablo 3, then Battle.net.

    Don't play with armor.
    Always rush in first.

    Ahh... your logic confuses me.
What is this Titan Quest? And if this "Titan Quest" copied things from Diablo 2, and Diablo 3 copies things from "Titan Quest" wouldn't that mean Diablo 3 is copying things from Diablo 2.. I.E WIN?! Not that this is true. I highly, highly, doubt that Blizzard would copy things from one game and put it on their own, it's the other way around. I doubt Blizzard has even heard of this game "Titan Quest".
Gore? There are more than 30 ways to die in this game through explosions and stabbings, and you think there isn't enough gore? Not to mention we've seen.. what... 2 maps? You assumptions keep me at a loss. Oh well. All of this stuff is opinionated.
    Keep up the rage!

My first suggestion. And this is a totally serious suggestion here

Get a picture of an attractive female smiling with a phone to her ear. Advertisements are full of random people smiling and looking happy for no apparent reason... I figure they're onto something?

Aswell as the stuff thats already on there, put an emphasis on 'friendly staff' who know what they're doing.
You need to appeal to the less tech-savy folk also

Change the color scheme... Try white fonts on colored backgrounds instead of black fonts on white

And ofc, a logo. Something simple like a letter D. Some inspiration from HERE

Edit - Actually.. the photo of the person smiling isn't really necessary. But its a really common form of advertisement

Not that attractive smiling females don't lure people to get certain things. It does. I know. I fell for it.
But look at it from a professional view. Would a family mother go into there?
The PC-Fixer-Upper place I go to is simple. It has a picture of a maple leaf as their logo. 'Their' being a single person, but my point remains.
Keep it simple and clean. I'm pretty sure his add is basically saying what he does.
"Virus removal, Mac & PC, Remove Vista, and more," type of deal.
