Mar 30, 2009Tsukiyomi posted a message on Blizzard and Microsoft Xbox?I'm a computer person. Consoles are great, hell, it got me into Diablo because, well, I had a Playstation before I had a computer, and guess what? Diablo was on the Playstation.Posted in: News
But, I'm a computer person. If anyone has ever played Fable, for instance, on the Xbox then on the computer... quite honestly, playing on the computer was much easier. As such, I don't see why it should go console. If you think that Diablo, or hell, any other game from Blizzard, would be better on a console, in my eyes, you're not true fan!
But! I see the consideration, just don't care for it.

You, sir, are on to something.

My sister was a great friend of his, and she was telling me how he would get gifts for people for Christmas. They weren't the type of gifts you would expect though. He had no job, so he would find things and give them to people, just as a token.
My sister got a single 5 pound weight. I guess he also handed out some soy sauce packets.
It's hard to get. He just asked a girl out the week before, and their relationship was going great.
He was a strange, great kid. I'll miss him.

Today a great guy ended his own life. He was a member of the track team. He was never sad, and everyone knew him for it. Not once, not for a second, did he seem like the type of person to do this. A joyful, sweet guy who made jokes with everyone, myself included.
I'm positive that this will be in the news over the weekend, or at least in the newspaper. But I just wanted people to know something.
If you ever think about ending your own life, please, reconsider and try to get some help. It's painful to know someone who was so kind would end themselves like that, but it's so much worse to see 500 people shell shocked, crying, and looking for a shoulder to lean on in one small area. This small school in this town of less than 3,000 people are pained because of it. I saw my own friend, he was not close to Austin, neither was I, but we knew him. We joked with him. My friend who jokes of death, jokes of everything, because it's not realistic until it happens. My friend stood outside facing outwards, past the school parking lot, and past the store across the street. Staring at probably nothing. His mother came and picked him up. My friend who shrugs everything off got into the car, sat in the back, and put his knees to his chest as the car drove away. Seeing my own friend crushed, and turning away back towards the school and seeing a flood of tears is a terrible feeling.
I know this is just a Diablo forum, but I still think people should know. No one should have to be put through what happened today at my school. No one should have to be put through whatever it is that made Austin end his own life. If you know someone who is being hurt, by parents, or just bullied, help them. Please.

Yes, yes I can. Let me find it! Might take awhile, I don't remember where I saw it.
Haha, found it http://www.diablofans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18557
Reread it, and I guess it doesn't really say it won't have an affect as far as lore. But if they are both different teams, and not to mention they have already been planning D3 for a very long time, they probably would have planned a release of a new lore-related patch a while ago.

There will be no links to Diablo 3 with the new content. It's purely for the entertainment for Diablo 2 players while we wait for Diablo 3.

But.. why not change? If you want a new difficulty level, may as well change the entire thing as well. Keep it fresh!

I know, off topic, but what you kind of makes me think of how almost everyone who has played D2/D2 LoD since the release has lost their discs, or some of them, at least once and had to buy a new pack. It makes me laugh ^^

Guild Wars, huh? How long have you been playing? Maybe we can chill sometime. I don't play anymore, but that's because I have no reason to. All my friends quit.
Since release here, though. (My Warrior almost has his 4th year birthday present).

The stone slabs were made of the second hardest material known. So, in other words, 17,000 years ago, they would have had to use diamond to cut those slabs. Of course unless they made metal that could do it back then, but that's hard to believe. Then again, so is the idea that aliens came and helped them make it.
