I think shell is always respectful and comes up with solid arguments. Magistrate's post looks like a big ego masturbation. And scyberdragon you seem to skip all arguments without getting the particular point and keep saying same shit over and over again. I have never said that dungeons should be completely dark, I was just saying that it shouldn't look like a lame horror theme park for kids with colorful shiny green lights everywhere, because thats exactly how it looks. I've said it before but unless Blizzard changes their style, you will never agree, because you don't have the intelligence to set your own standarts, you would consume whatever ugly big greasy idea they would force down your brain with your so-called 'free mind'.
You guys MAY just be looking too far into it and missing the big point. They may want to give their characters traits like ethnicity, but these are ethnicities they are making up themselves. So their "asian", in the Sanctuary world, may not be AS asian as our asian in the real world.
They didn't make the female wizard asian and the male european. No. They just gave them both SUBTLE attributes due to creating their OWN races.
And yes, they want to make one race more "asian" and another race more "celtic" or maybe "european" because it gives character to these people, and separates one from the other. Giving them.... Wallaaa... **Charrrracterrrr**

You just contradicted yourself. You're telling people not to dig too deep into it but at the same time, you point out...exactly what they did.
Artists use human models and features either live, from reference, or recollection, to distinguish the character. Everything is planned out from ethnicity to the garments that match culturally with the ethnicity.

I have no interest in the monk really, imba or not. For the most part, when I play games like this I go for the glass cannon casters types like the wiz and WD.
I have no doubts in a WD soloing hell because the summons will make anything hard to kill much less tedious or deathy... The wiz makes me nervous I guess. I can't wait to see what blizzard has in store
It's funny you say "glass cannon". The wizard they are developing may have the ability to by a sort of "melee" wizard, which is pretty interesting to me.
