posted a message on Quin's Itemization Rant

The core of the problem is all the D3 team can do is push higher and higher number. The design is flawed.

Next batch, they will probably dig up some skill no one use and then create a few item that add X% to it and make all previous sets/items useless.

Hello guys, i need some advice on the same issue, i can't decide if i have to rerol AIS from 5% to 7% or rerol damage

perso i don't think it will make any difference having 7 attack speed cause anyway is will still need vodoo to reach 3.33 bp for hydra along with everything else and my t&t is not good

so i guess reroling damage is the best choice!?

    Reroll damage.

posted a message on BOA's purpose is bullshit

Since the legs/set are BOA, if anything that can improve the game is increase the chance of them dropping not decreasing it.

It is another Blizzard's failed logic on what is fun. This is what happened when the developers don't even players their own games decided what is best of the gamers.

Biggest mistake of this game is BOA. Imagine you are looking for a tal set and you already have 3 of it, the armor, ammy and helm. You need either the belt or the source to get the 4 pieces bonus. But all you keep finding were the armor, ammy and helm. So you are tell the player just keep trying? If all legendary and sets get the same percentage in drop rate, how long does it takes a player to able to find that particular piece by himself??? There are over thousand legendary/set items in the game.
Impossible to answer without some other answers first: How long do they play? With what MF%? On what difficulty? What is the smart-drop ratio and do current items on the character affect smart-drop rates? Do they play with friends that would trade the item?

I do know that with the current legendaries in the system at paragon 100 (300% MF) I have found every legendary in the game (except patterns) at about 1,500 hours played. To find the one you're looking for will depend on RNG. Im sure some people will have full sets in two weeks cause of luck and others will be playing for a year to get the item they want. But... that's Diablo and it motivates me to keep playing to get the drop and the feeling of elation when I get the item is wonderful. Once I get it... I'll re-roll to get the best I can, but I'll have to keep hunting to have the absolutely best version of that item. And so is the cycle that is Diablo.
That is the problem. Since ROS can drop any item in the game, that meant those level 1 to 57 that is not dropping in inferno now will be dropping in ROS. Plus, there are hundreds more new item from ROS along. So I don't know what Bliz were thinking when they removed trading. Since any item can be drop. So how many hours do they expect each play to play to get just that 1 particular item? How long do you think people will say enough is enough and close the game?

You cannot fix the system if everything is base on DPS. You can have 9999/100%c/1000cd on your stats and if you have a weapon that only 100 dps, you are not going to kill anything.

The only thing that can do is make the weapon a high DPS. Of course, high dps on weapon itself is not good enough. You have to have socket(s) and/or CD/LL.

This game has nothing to do with skill. It is all about gears. If you have gears like that, you can play with any build just fine.

posted a message on Keeping Diablo alive (AH breaking the game?)
The game is broken because the system is base on dps.

Basically, all race play exactly the same, bluff dps, life and resist.

All end game build and items are the same. Best barb with Ik set. Best monk with inna, dh with nat. Wd/wiz with zuni
