Beta just makes you want to play the game even more when it does launch. I have had fun playing the beta, has been a good experience. But I am ready for launch and see what happens after Skeleton King and level 13....
Public games numbers should increase lol. I have seen over 1,000 a few times but seems to be down around 200-300 lately. Will be nice to see some new meat lol
Decent timing, school for the kids is out on the 16th, and planning a few days off to play. Would be nice to be a kid again and have summers off, I would play till my eyes fell out...
It's just of such limited use in the beta. Knockback in the beta, especially for a barbarian is kinda irritating. I'm enjoying revenge and ground slam, myself. Ground slam->rend->cleave->revenge when available is very nice.
Playing the monk, knockback ticks me off especially with lashing tail kick. Not having much fun with the Monk as I thought, patch 13 was fun, but I am not 13 yet might change then. The Barb is definitely going to be awesome to play to 60.
Yea, i have it too. It's awesome, way better than hammer of the ancients. I was stoked when i got it, was glad they opened up some new skills at lower level. Most classes got new skills in 14 we didn't have before. I noticed the previous lvl 13 i had has different skills than my new one.
By the way, the only way to get an amulet in the beta is off of the skeletons right before you fight the Skeleton King. A few people just farm them for hours and get a few amulet drops. You can kill them and then exit the game and then kill them again... that's how people get amulets.
Yea i actually just watched a vid on farming for amulets and rares. Will be doing that later.
I still haven't found a single amulet in the beta yet, do they have a lower chance to drop?
I was lucky enough to win a beta key and have played all 5 classes to 13, rank of favorite for me:
1. Barb DW frenzy and Leap is really cool
2. Monk really like exploding palm, and lashing tail kick
3. Demon Hunter Rapid fire, strafe
4 Wizard Arcane orb, runed to arcane nova is awesome and wave of force
5. Witch Doctor felt weakest to me, dogs and haunt are cool though
Did max out the blacksmith, and crafted the best gear i could make, really makes going back through pretty trivial. Once you get past 10, you just destroy everything.
I will, but it wont be one of the first I create, might be 3rd on the list. After playing the DH in beta I really started to like it, seems like as you level it gets even better. Think it is going to be a blast to play later in levels
I like most of the abilities and DW crossbows is awesome.
Joined a few games from the public queue when it was working over the weekend, most people either left or didn't say anything. I had more luck in the looking for more chat room, got games there fairly quickly and people actually talked then and was pretty fun crashin the skele king.
Hoping everyone gets one before release, but we all know Blizz wont do that. I just entered every contest I could find, and actually won mine from the random forum post from here. Pretty stoked!
