If you're anything like me you've powered through the game since launch date trying to level, gear, and upgrade as fast as possible and never really took the time to notice some of the details in Diablo 3.
I've recently started playing Hardcore and naturally took a slower pace at the game. What I started to notice were pieces of art work that I've run by thousands of times but have never stopped to look at.
I'll be posting cropped images of screen shots for you to guess where this is, and their solutions a couple days later. Some of these will be very easy to some, and some that SHOULD be easy will actually be very difficult with the right cropping!
If you happen to know the solution right away, I ask you not to spoil it for everyone else; thank you.
Thx,
I've tried Inna's Temperance and that's good. The only thing is to re-understand how "not to die"...
I had the opposite problem. Tons of all res and armor with only 35k hp, but I was dropping like a fly when it came to elites. I sacrificed about 10k dps and picked up 20k hp and now I'm rolling through MP10 really, really well. I guess I was so use to my barb and not having to worry about affixes in WotB that I stopped looking at my health and more on other defensive stats.
With my hp at 56k I can now take the hits when I'm frozen or readjusting from defiled arcane sentries. If you're curious unbuffed I have 768 all resistances with 3920 armor (with glass cannon).
Best thing you can do is play Public games ranging from MP6-8 from what I can tell with your gear and add people to your friends list that actually contribute. Once you have a dozen quick join their games and you'll find it more efficient. The problem with MP10 public games is that everyone joins it to get carried and it just slows everything down to a halt. I exclusively play MP10 with randoms that are on friends list.
There's two major things you need to look at. The first is that you're missing a lot of all resistances from your gear. I quickly counted just over 260 and with your war cry you'd bring it up to about 310-315. I suggest dropping crit hit damage or attack speed on some of your items to pick up the all resistances and getting to roughly 450 unbuffed (to fit your budget). Don't drop the crit chance as it's what's helping keep your fury up.
Your armor is fine for MP3/4 though, so no worries on that. The second thing I can suggest is getting life steal. You might want to read up on "Proc Coefficients" and how they affect your Life on Hit. With you doing 145k dps, 3% lifesteal would trump the 1379 life on hit you have on your skorn. You might want to simply switch out your Witching Hour belt for Immortal King's belt. You'll ( a ) get 70-80 resistances, ( b ) get lifesteal, ( c ) the 3 piece bonus set reducing melee attacks by 4% is more effective than you'd think.
I know that dropping your dps and picking up more survivability is a hard thing to do, but to fit a budget it's what needs to be done unfortunately. After all, you can't DPS when you're dead
Edit: also you may want to try switching out Inspiring Presence passive. Tough as nails is a massive damage reduction bonus but I don't think it makes that much of a difference in MP3/4. Superstition on the other hand helps with elites so much. I'm assuming that white trash monsters aren't really a problem and the 2% life regen won't benefit you as much.
I think the cheapest upgrade for you is your gloves. Your hellfire ring is pretty bad, but obviously with RNG it's not something you can just choose to upgrade out of the blue. I think gloves and helm (get crit chance on it) are your next upgrades. I'd also suggest looking into to mana regen on your offhand and helm to pick up Pierce the Veil passive.
I guess i was hoping for some definite reason to use one or the other which does not really exist
lol so true. When trying to debate between two things that are just so comparable might as well choose what you think looks cooler and call it a day. It is pretty awesome hovering over a weapon and seeing it have stupid high dps.

I'll have to try harder. It's a little difficult without being too obscure

I mean by all means guess where it is, but if you know 100% as soon as you see it I ask you not to spoil it for everyone else
Glad you enjoy it.
