lol, im aware theres 4 player limit. (these 8 ppl arent always on at the same time >.>). Few of them doesnt plan on having an account until its released. NOW that i sorted out the obvious , Now there is only US or EU if i get it right?
There is SEA (South East Asia) as well, and I believe that's it.
Yes, this is exactly what I needed to know. If anyone knows more specific details about those 'new abilities' and AI behavior changes please post them here.
I noticed one thing. When I played my hardcore character (normal difficulty) mobs had a strange ability that occasionally poped some sort of banners around them (in Cathedral), unlike softcore (normal difficulty) gameplay where that thing didn't happen.
You don't seem to understand, there's no difference with the AI etc between hardcore and softcore, only the perma death, stash and artisans
You don't seem to understand, hes not asking about differences between HC/SC anymore, as he said, hes asking about differences between Normal/Nightmare/Hell/Inferno...
Edit: Though he did mistakenly post a mini event as a difference between the two.
This is incorrect, the devs have stated that monsters get new abilities on each increasing difficulty, as well as the obvious increased hp/damage and moving faster. They also changed the AI, they will be smarter in trying to move to you and attack you.
Edit: This is ofcourse assuming he was actually asking the difference between DIFFICULTY levels and not HC/SC
Sorry, but those last two posts don't really make sense to me. If you don't want the spoilers, just take out the DVD, install the game and put the rest of it aside for... whenever you think is right.
After all, if "players would agree" then those same players should have no problem with restraining themselves (since they're the ones getting the product).
Or, if it's the gaming company that have those concerns then they could easily allow your account to download the code on entry of the key and ship the remainder whenever they feel is appropriate.
It has nothing to do with what YOU would do with the cd, OTHERS would datamine the files and the infomation would be all over every Diablo 3 fansite on the internet. Don't justify something based on what YOU would do, think about what EVERYONE else might do.
It's fine. Sometimes it's a little over the top (Templar) or cheesy (Skeleton King: "Yoou will never defeat meee!" As if every other villain in the world hasn't said that already). The Templar himself has kinda become a running joke with his crazy lines.
JONDAAAAH.
The voice acting is bad.... BUT THE WILL OF THE TEMPLAR IS STRONGER!!!
Occasionally good, but overall the general quest voice acting is less than awesome. Also a bit annoyed that most of these video games recently seem to thing EVERYONE sounds like they're from the UK. Its well and good for a few chars here and there, but for example Amalur, SWTOR and now many of the voices in the beta, all english/scottish/UKish in general accents. Its silly, aren't there any non UK voice actors willing to work on video games?
(1) I really don't understand why Blizzard (or any other game company) don't just get copies to suppliers as early as possible and let them ship them immediately. The key thing here is that until the servers are switched on at 00:01 on 15/05/2012 the DVD is just a beer mat - it makes no difference to anyone if you have it early, you can't play until the servers go live since there is no single-player aspect to the game.
I realise that they have to decide on the final code version that will be shipping and go through the production process, but that's not really an issue since people have got used to the idea of Day One patch download.
(2) I don't understand why so many people (mostly non-US/UK) are ordering from suppliers at massive prices when they can get the download from Blizzard. Here in the UK there is a clear price advantage to buying from a supplier, but if the opposite is true, or there's not much in it, then you can be ready to play right away with no hassle by downloading.
HTH
The disc versions, that is those sold in stores are NOT encrypted files, and they would be able to be datamined to have all the information about the game that is stored on the disc and in the data files available long before the game is released, tons of spoilers, ruins the anticipation. No gaming company would ever want that, and most all players agree.
You should enable being able to choose more than 1 =D
I'm getting the SE digital as well as the CE boxed. You should also remove the CE digital version, as there isn't one, they only come physical with CD's.
He doesn't have a CE digital version listed, he has CE from a store, or CE ordered online for shipping.
I'd assume set and legendary specific bonuses are completely seperate, those are just the affix maxes.
There also seems to be a tab for 'Legendary Affixes' on their page, but its empty, seems mysterious.
