Could you elaborate on how they are making these customizations possible?
I have been offline for some time now, I'm trying to re-educate myself.
    And it's called debating. :P

And by ES Sorceress I believe you mean Eastern Sun?
Which is a mod.. Not a real game, am I right?
    Yes I am.
I also love to destroy people. Not just their opinions.

Wow, you look like a fool. Ever heard of energy shield?

Maybe if you read my first post you wouldn't have made yourself look like such a scrub.....

    Ya cocky bastard.

Bah. I hated accidentally putting 10 points I didn't have to into strength or whatever and feeling like I had to start the character over again. Being an expert on Diablo 2 stat allocation doesn't make you smart, it makes you sad. :P

I guess critically thinking about a game makes me sad..... Oh noes!

But accidentally putting stats into the wrong category did suck.

It was crap that pretty much the only way to figure out a really good build was to go on a forum like this and ask someone/research it.

Or actually think about what you are trying to accomplish and build something unique instead of copying someones ideas.

People today honestly can't think for themselves?

What I'm really trying to say is, why eliminate a factor in the game that allows more intelligent people to actually be better in the game?

In Diablo 2 there where no real stats customization, you took the required stats for X weapon and then threw everything else in Vitality.

    Wrong...... Es sorc............................................ derrrrr............

And required str. was always different for different builds allowing placement of stats elsewhere.

Damn I love destroying peoples opinions.

I actually have an old mouse that I started playing d1 with and am going to continue using just because I want to see how many clicks it takes to actually break one of these beasts.

Astion, you can notice the difference on anything, but it only makes a difference in games like cs.

You do make a good point about the initial confusion, but wouldn't that just add to replayability?

I honestly don't understand how it could add realism to the game since a person isn't automatically given their attributes in real life. Also, wouldn't it decrease difficulty due to the fact that they are removing a variable from the equation?

Just because a particular famed franchise had commercial success in the past isn't an indication that it will repeat itself in the future.
Are you smokin' rocks? It's the biggest indication of future success...... and :offtopic:

posted a message on Party experience radius?
Honestly if you aren't helping in a battle why should you get any experience? That is like saying, "I was on the team as a bench warmer but I have so much experience in game."

Also, if you are falling behind than you don't deserve the experience as much as the guy ahead of you.

Does anyone else think that not being able to customize your stats anymore just sucks?

I mean it allowed for so many more possibilities when creating very customized characters such as the 97es Sorc with over 4k mana. If stats were not customizable this character wouldn't be nearly as effective and might not even exist.

Truly, why would you reduce player customization for any reason?

Please voice your opinions, I want to get some feedback.

    P.S. Hello again everybody!

    Caribou Lou ftw...

If you haven't tried it yet, I am very sad for you.

    Oh I forgot...

Humidifier, or Nebulizer plus Everclear. You breath in the alcohol and it gets you hammered drunk for 15-30 minutes.

Anyone who is going to try this should know that it is pretty dangerous, so just start out with small breaths until you find your happy place, don't kill yourself.

posted a message on 4 or 8 Player Max?
Is it not retarded to think they would ever downgrade from 8 to 4?

If anything at all it's 8 or 16.... Or maybe even 8 for PvM, and 6 for PvP.

I will bet my car that nothing will be 4 players.

We are talking about random parameters concerning attributes of already designed monsters (like the spikes on the unburied's back), and you guys honestly think it would take "months"? My god. There's as much "code" involved as in giving monsters a random hue.

Except most programs already have a list of nearly infinite hues and shades which are already pre-programmed into it. The variations in the design of a monster would have to be created, thus taking much more time..... Dunno how you haven't grasped this concept yet.. Sorry Doppel I usually agree with you.
