I have a much easier time giving up Vyr's 4p for a combo of 2 other 3set bonuses, than giving up Tal's 4p.

People get bored because they exploit the game to death, or have the wrong (mmo) expectations of an ARPG like Diablo 3.
The biggest problem is all the players who look for things to dislike rather than enjoying a game for just what it is.

For passives the paralysis is a must have, and with dominance and prodigy lightning specs works great with fairly "bad" gear.(with good gear drop either for glass cannon firstly)

The question is how bad should the non-BiS items be before people stop care about them.
