IMHO pretty low damage roll. Why not going for high raw dps? vit/dex is ok. Pretty useful stats. But dmg on this beauty rolled terribly. My advice - go for damage. Damage is always a good thing :)
I agree, the damage on this TF is a bit low

      • Fixed an issue where the internal cooldown for this item's Legendary affix was being reset when dual-wielding.*
      • Fixed an issue where this item's Legendary affix did not account for a skill's proc scalar, causing it to proc on every skill use.

salvage it now. =( rip shard of hate

i dont see how a 20% fire weapon wouldnt beat out your current weapon. even with like 2100-2200 dps... 20% fire damage is huge when ALL of our damage is fire in this build. i use a mirror ball conflag build myself. with meteor. only thing that would replace my sankis is a build changing weapon... wand of woh, serpent sparker. thats it. i have a high dps sever in my stash, but its only like a 5% or so sheet dps gain. and as far as 4pc tals goes, it just does so much damage proccing all 4 meteors on cd. its crazy

Generally when I do rifts with my friends, I find more often than not, they get a lot more than me. Whether mine become Forgotten Souls or not. Right after the most recent buff, I had gotten 1 legendary while everyone else in my group of four were above 10. By the time we stopped playing that night/next morning, everyone in the group had well over 4x the amount that I had gotten. Now I am the most geared in our group because I literally have no life and play hours upon hours each day. And I know that RNG is RNG. But to see other people get that much more in one stretch of time is really discouraging. Whether or not anyone's legendary drops were upgrades is irrelevant, its just the fact that it feels like lesser geared people I play with have higher drop rates than I do. I even run Cain's 3pc and a Flawless Imperial Topaz in my helm. I have like ~120% MF while the rest of my group is at like 30%. Its always so weird.

tals 4pc will greatly out weigh whatever youre doing. its all about the bonus on that. and weapon wise, burning axe of sankis would outweigh your weapon as well as the two wands.

your gear where its at now is very very good imo. only thing you could really do is witching hour and a full 4 set tals. besides the weapons. 1 piece of tals at a time would obviously not be worth it, would take the full set. a nice soj would do well, and getting some more ehp would do you wonders as well to help progress into higher torment.

fact of the matter is, without a generator, meteor spam isnt really effective. the way youre describing your "effective dps" isnt right. you have so much down time between meteor casts to factor in. it might seem ok in group play but if youre doing this alone with no one to supplement damage during your down time, its going to take you a long time to clear anything, regardless of gear. unless you can get an insane amount of resource cost reduction and arcane power regeneration/apoc. having something like cindercoat could definitely make this "kind of viable" but without a generator, youre still going to end up pissing in the wind at some point. theres not really much of a point to cast a few meteors then stand there passively waiting for your AP to regenerate.

edit: after watching the full video and seeing all of your skill choices at the end, i can kind of see this being viable in group play with the right gear. but what you give up to run these abilities is kind of big to say the least. dropping force weapon and sparkflint are a big dps drop and not having glass cannon is a dps drop. definitely give you credit for thinking outside of the box here though. and i do think it could work with stuff like a cindercoat and a decent amount of resource cost reduction, at least enough so you can change some of the stuff like on force weapon, familiar, and glass cannon.

posted a message on What should i roll on this TF, Could you guys please support me?
well rolling the damage on it wont do much for you since its so close to max already. realistically you could leave it like it is for now, or go for ias on it until we hear some more info on %damage on elemental damage rolls. i think once that goes through, most of the time the %damage will be much better than the ias roll.

realistically, your next best upgrade(s) would be weapon/belt/boots. look for ability modifiers on what pieces you can get it. for fire, youre ideally going to want wand of woh or serpents spark. i think ideally most wizards should be gearing towards a hybrid tal's build for higher torment farming, but obviously skill builds are personal preference and goals differ from person to person.

burning axe of sankis wouldnt bad for a standard fire build, but like i said, wand of woh and serpents spark can be really strong for fire as well. a new witching hour would be nice too, but ive spent upwards of around 18,000 shards on belts only looking for one. rng is rng, you could get it on your first try technically lol. but best of luck to you and your gear chase! ^_^

I would roll off the life per second for something else. Trying to roll for a specific skill will give you a headache. Unless you are feeling lucky.
or just keep the life per second since its a good healing source for wizards. most spells have awful coefficients for life on hit anyway, even though life on hit is about the only option besides life after kill.

if you want it to be a generic belt that is viable in any skill build, reroll the spectral blade damage to vit. if you want it for spectral blade damage reroll the life regen. doesnt seem like a hard decision here

Because there is no bug. The damage bonus is intended. Deal with it.
wrong, it is bugged. they even said its bugged. they want %damage to affect elemental rolls, they just didnt get to it in this patch. +1 cookie to you for being oblivious and a blatant asshole to the OP

Pretty sure it's always been an additive stat. Maybe you misread or misunderstood before.

edit: I think I remember seeing some sort of post saying that running double SoJ is a known bug and they want to fix it soon(tm).
