I loved that Blue impression :P

The official forum is such a mess and reading topics there makes you want to rip your eyes out (i can remove my glasses, it will have the same effect). There are different reasons topics are closed and deleted and i think the most common one is: "You posted a thread about something it's being discussed already 1 thread below you!" and we have the OP yelling at Blizzard because they deleted his opinion that deserved its own topic, of course with insults, cospiracy theories and foul language.... banned.

Then we have hate discussions with attacks to a certain player gemographic (casual vs hardcore for example) that ends in a flame war. I wonder why they close those... <_<

Another typical closed thread is the petition..... I think a bunch of +1, signed, agree, etc. etc. aren't usefull feedback.

posted a message on What level of difficulty do you find it most efficient to rift on?
I'm jumping between T3-T4 when solo. T3 is surely the most efficient for me, i pop Wolf Companion cd and i kill elites in few volleys of Multishot; if i pop Vengeance too, well..... i can't see what race was the elite i just killed. Now i'm trying to push myself into playing Rifts in T4 because the previous difficulty is just a snore fest now and i need to keep myself awake when i play games.

In Party i play T3-T5, depends on my mood.

    Edit: Ops... Wizard forum :S

Yes, but AH was there to make the "core experience" of anAction RPG easier. Propaganda speech as much as Josh's "killing monsters is fun so we are going to kill trade".

I always played D2 as a self found or with a close circle of friends, so i never mass traded but in D2 it wasn't mandatory as it was in D3V to have a chance to build an effective character. But that's not the point.

The point is that some people aren't finding gear fast enough for their taste (drop rates are fine in my opinion) and i understand the need of trading, if someone wishes to get gear faster and how RoS is shaping up, i think both self found and trading can live together quite well because the rewards are quite generous to reach T3-4 with dedication. Let's add Ladders, so there is an economical reset on the competitive mode and we have something similar to D2 that can make most players happy.

Yep, a self founder isn't against trading, shocking. The problem was when trading was shoved down my throat in vanilla and drop rates and item quality were balanced around the idea that the "Core experience" of this game was trading gear....

But this is totally off topic... and i'm really ranting so hard these days on Dfans.... jeez, the complaining.

Quote from Seifa Yeah, and the whole Diablo 3 Vanilla revolved around trading non stop on the AH or enjoy the "amazing" item rewards that killing monsters gave us....

    A trading game, yeah, sure.

Sometimes i wish Developers would stop with those propaganda speeches.
You understand there's a butter zone here, right? The AH's were on one end of the extreme. BoA is on the extreme opposite.

The truth is often somewhere in the middle. It is incumbent upon Blizzard to find this middle ground.
And i totally agree with you on this, on my raging rant (that quote from Wilson made my eyes bleed from anger) i didn't share my common opinion that BoA is the opposite extreme of AH.

That's what we get when a really niche genre reaches the masses. Bitching and moaning because you don't have what you are looking for in a month of a grinding game. Yes, GRINDING. Maybe these ppl are the same that bitched about not getting that 2b gold loot on Vanilla and not being able to "progress" (because watching Streamers playing each day, multiple hours a day is a metric to see how far behind you are in the game and going crazy because they aren't farming T6 like they do).

Like MMO, this genre has reached a wider audience of players that don't grasp the concept that not every game should suit their habits and taste and i hope the hype train for this title and genre dies fast.

The flaws in this game aren't the drop rates, but the boring itemization that wasn't fixed. (Really, adding more, undesired stats into a 4/2 system doesn't make it dynamic, to use a word ruksak love).

posted a message on Should the item art be hidden until the item has been identified
I don't know. As much as i don't want to bring Diablo 2 into the discussion, you knew already what the unique you dropped was by the item type that dropped unidentified.

I kinda like being able to remember the art style of an item when i check it before the identification, just a memory training :P

I know it's sad to check the art of the amulet and seeing it's a Blackthorne, but the disappoitment won't be any less when you identify it without seeing the icon, it's just delayed.

posted a message on Set items drop rate To low
Soon we will read that the AH was the best thing ever happened to the franchise because you could get a piece of gear you wanted to complete the set.

Every bloody day there is a thread about Smart Loot not being 100% smart, so it's bullshit; or there is a thread about conspiracy about RNG not being RNG with account flagging and star alignment; or not being able to get the whole set after a month into an ARPG.

I think my url is reading: "http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/forum/"... nope. i'm on the right forum....

posted a message on diablo 3 Authenticator.
It wasn't my intention to ignore Windows Phone. I don't follow the App market at all and i don't have access to a Mobile Auth because i'm running on Symbian and the Java Auth is no longer supported and downloadable :P

Well, it's surely safer and even supported by Blizzard itself to use the official app. Since for IOS and Android it's free, there is no reason to risk a malfunction with the unofficial Pc Version instead of downloading the app for your mobile device.

Yes, there is an unofficial authenticator for PC called Winauth. I'm using it at the moment and it works like a mobile authenticator. I'd suggest to get a physical one if delivery reaches your country, because even if Blizzard itself "approves" the use of this app, if something bad happens, they can't help you easily.

Remeber to save the config file of the application somewhere safe, because that's used to restore your PC authenticator if configurations bug out.

posted a message on Rainbow Facets > Legendary Gems
I hope Legendary Gems won't just give us flat stat increase. I'm kinda tired of stack XXX and even if the loot hunt is more rewarding than it ever was the itemization is still uninspired, we just have Elemental damage to add to our CC/CHD/MainStat tower with a 4/2 split on items that is really suffocating our items' potential (there is basically no room for other stats, expecially on weapons), but i'm going off topic here.

I'm a big fan of legendaries affixes that changes the behaviour of skills, like the Instant Bolas quiver or the Buriza and i hope they will make Legendary gems that way....

posted a message on Micro Transaction more bank space
I can see some sort of microtransaction for Diablo 3 in the Blizzard Store in the future. It's a B2p game, and common practice in the gaming industry is to monetize a game after its release too. Since Blizzard isn't seeling us DLCs each month (hi Borderlands 2), it wouldn't surprise me to see them selling us storage tabs, character slots and cosmetics in the store.

posted a message on Elemental shuffle - what would you like to see?
When i got Frostburn and a Buriza on my DH i was happy, but the selection of Cold skills is minimal. One generator, two spenders.... :S

As other have said, we need more Poison and Cold skills to play with but with the CinderCoat-Magefist combo, i still see it as the dominant element....
