I think any prevent dmg amulet is much better then hellfire. There is no passive in this world valuable as element immunity + super strong healing in a game without life leech.
Until you run with a perma CC WD and a zdps monk in your party, preventing all incoming damage if played correct, and you drop any form of toughness/healing and stack damage in every way you can. And if you die, they can res you anyway :)
Fair enough, agree on that one. Somehow I mostly think about soloing when talking about the game.

fair enough everyone has an opinion but I still think keywardens are way stingy....in the end this game is about getting loot and making it hard to find defeats the purpose.Either show us where the warden is on the map or make it 100% on t6.
I actually like the map pointers, especially needed for act 2 warden :)

In the future, I'd like to see a guaranteed roll of two sockets on the HFA. Sure, that's some power creep, but that's intentional (for those who care: That's an effective ladder reset, so that's one thing we might see once they have cleaned up the RNG and THUD mess). It sets the HFA apart from the rest of the pack to justify the effort getting it.
I agree on that one, then it would be a hunt worth doing for every character, especially when they introduce more defensive gems.

not that i want drops buffed.. i'm not even actively farming anymore because of my crafting luck..
just complaining the bad rng inconsistency.. :D

Amazing. Good for you I guess. 70 crafted amulets got me 1 avarage and 69 disenchants. I am paragon 507 and wasted so much time on that amulet, that it's ridiculous. I don't mind the grind, but one thing is annoying. When I'm going anything else, there is a chance sth cool will drop along the way. When I farm keys/do ubers I get pretty much no items and no XP. So i put all that hard work into 70 amulets and I got 0 reward.

When I try to complete a high level grift and fail at least I get some shards and bunch of items. When I do bounty I get a fair amount of drops along the way and good XP. When I speedrift...well I obviously get everything. See the difference? It's the only aspect of the game that yields nothing, but dissapointment.

Here is a little research I have made, I find it fine atm, really. The biggest problem was finding groups for ubers, and then everyone getting uneven organ drops. But after that was changed, and 100% chance to get one, it is really not that hard to craft them.

I would rather play rifts and gamble amulets now tbh, because I don't wear Hellfire amulet on any of my characters. It can't come close to Xephirian, Countess, or whatever elemental prevention amulet. I would even consider Compas Rose+Traveler before Hellfire.

ow cmon.. stop with all the nerfs.. we allready have 100 % chance on organs.. and farmings keys.. well this isnt really true.. an avg solo run takes me 6-8 mins on my crusader.. doing all 4 acts.. all i see now a days is "nerf this, nerf that, this takes to long" O_O stop it ! they have HUGE aggo area, so just look for "xx has engaged keywarden xx"

also, u can do 4 man parties, where people do 1 act each, the key drop is universal, just be smart in tp'ing around to each other..

this constant nerfing and wajning over something takes xx amount of time to do is getting tidious !
+1, I have spent about 5 days farming keys and organs before it was buffed to 100% organs on T6. And guess what, I had around 45 sets of organs in that time. Organs buff is a good change, but buffing the keys as well is going to make it trivial. And 45 amulets got me around 6 really good ones, so I find it a good time/reward ratio.

"All this has happened before, and all this will happen again" This is like Dialo mantra, I guarantee the return of life leech at some point, because we have all experienced this kind of gameplay several times. Diablo 3 Inferno was something similar to GRs, one shot mechanics, going melee super hard. So kiting was the only option, then LOH builds (LOH buffed last patch) then LL builds, concentrating on DMG only. The only difference is Soul Rippers are Angels now :)

It is rather clever to do so, doing "changes" in cycles, and by changes I mean removing and adding the same elements of the game while keeping the feeling of a new approach for players. Life leech would solve many problems, and it is a lazy fix, the kind that Blizzard likes to do (something like when the game becomes too easy, they buff health and dmg of the monsters in percentages). I don't see them buffing rarely used skills, adding new unique legendaries or something like that. Only introducing old game mechanics, removed from the game because of "being toxic", or buffing some dmg numbers on gear, and ta da, we have something to do for a month or 2, making old gear underpowered.

everything in this game is pure RNG... so this being helpful? hmm.. how exactly? someone can have a perfect roll amulet on his 2nd craft... someone else can craft 200 amulets and salvage them instantly.

What this video shows is that you took a lot of time and effort into farming keys and then ubers. The crafting process itself is something players have no control of, so it's not a guide or a help in any way. If someone wants/needs a 5th passive on their char they will craft the neck whether then need 20 or 200 crafts
Well, if someone plans to craft an amulet and wonders what are his chances, I guess it could be helpful.

we spent 2 days farming keys. Avarage 13 hours. 3 people on t6. Me as a Danetta perma vault DH finding the Wardens. They spawning on me and close to oneshotting the wardens. We spent no more than 5 min per warden. Most of the time it was less than 3 min.

When we were done we had the mats enough to create ... drum roll. 7 amulets...

How the hell did you get the mats to create 150 of them? how long did that take? 3 years ?

they need to up the drop rate on shit to atleast 75%. at the worst i killed 11 act3 wardens in a row without a drop for a key of war
averaging 1 key per 4 kills. 50% my ass.

The heart of evil. Dont even get me started on that. Needless to say. Im not gonne get a HF amulet. Ever
I have farmed for several days (between 4 and 8 hours a day), using my Denetta DH on torment 2. I have not farmed materials for 150 amulets, but for somewhere around 40. Then I copied my character on PTR, crafted whatever I could, copied again 2 or 3 days later... I have also used somewhere around 40 amulet stats from another player who gave me his permission. So all in all, it would be crazy to farm materials for 150 amulets, it was painfully boring with those 40ish, cant imagine doing it 3 times more.

They should buff key drop chance, I agree. At one point I had somewhere around 50 pairs of keys, except for the Key from Act 2, which I had somewhere around 35. Frustrating experience. Organs are the same, I had like 48 bones, but 32 idols. And in the end, with Greater Rifts, it's just better to have Countess or Xephirian IMO, after some playing with hellfires. There is no passive in this world that can be better then immunity to lightning and crazy healing at the same time (in a game where healing is so bad).

    Quote from Immoralthang
Greater rifts are sure lacking in content compared to normal ones. Doesn't the adjective greater imply adding more instead of taking things out?
Exactly. Really disappointed in options now. We are able to run t6 rifts super easily, buff to bounties makes them even less time consuming and all we have in the end are greater rifts, a place where no item will ever drop for 15min, where some items are disabled because they are too much fun (boon of the hoarder, goldwrap, harrington), where greater lvl just gives more hp to monsters and whites can now one shot you, aaaaaaand the reward is the same, no matter the level. Most of the times, 1 or 2 legendaries after the painfully boring process of killing monsters without getting a reward out of it (if you don't consider purple ball a reward).

In normal rifts, at least you never now when will you get something good, it can drop from chest, white monster, a barrel, elite, guardian... And you always have that feeling that any moment you can get something. But in GRs you just need to suck it up and do 15 or more min run knowing you are not getting anything, and then, when you expect a reward after that "hard work" you can get disappointed because guardian have just dropped pig sticker and some random 2h staff.

me and my friends find that about 90% of the time if one goes HOA2 and one goes core or areat you will find Goblins in 1 of the 2 sometimes both...and they both clear in about the same time
I agree, but so many people are screaming about not working, because they have bad luck sometimes and give up after 5 tries. I will still farm this area because for a solo monk, it is absolutely the best result for time spent, at least with goblins in pairs event.

I started playing a Wizard but then I've realized that I already have a full geared Wizard on normal and there is just no point in this world to do this once again. So I have just made a Barb (didn't play Barb and WD) and it is ok now :)

Since your own video says it has been "stealth" nerfed, I'll add that information to the title. So that nobody thinks this is still "the best" way of farming goblins. I've spawned 3 packs of Goblins in a row at Weeping Hollow while doing T1 bounties the other day (6 Goblins each run), but I know it's all RNG.

    Thanks mate!

I have four people split farming T6 Tower of the Damned 1-2 (player 1), Cursed 1-2 (player 2), Core port to Arreat 2 backwards through Heart of the Damned to meet with player 1, Rakkis/Stonefort (player 4). Whoever finishes their level first assists another. Smoke any goblins you see because the portal is accessible as long as you're in the same game. No need to be on the same map.

Best run for my group at one point was two portals in half an hour, but we know it's all just RNG.

Yea, small maps without too many dead ends are the best now, if we consider no map gives 100% chance now. Gotta try that route out.

After Halls of Agony level 2 was nerfed, we all needed a new route to farm goblins for treasure realm. So this is a good farming route atm, The Core of Areat, goblin per hour is really good. I have done 68 runs and in 26 of them I have found goblins. Iw we consider they are doubled atm, it's really not that bad.

What is your ratio in Core of areat? And are there more efficient areas to farm that I don't know of?
