    Nice video!

Seems we are using the same skills :)

I like the playstyle of Kridershot, being more engaged then running around. But I gotta admit, Calamity is a beast on ptr :) I have 3100+ dmg one, and it has a socket... So when I find Ramaladni's Gift it will be extremely op.

And for Groups, Calamity is definitely BIS. Cheap replacement could be Uskang, with 20% lightning dmg.

This is the build I am playing on PTR, soloing lvl 30 Greater Rift, nothing truly impressive, but I was glad Lightning got some love in 2.1 patch. Doing T6 normal rifts was a breeze. You can also find the build here: Lightning DH
What are your experiences with lightning? Did you try some different spells? I have found out that this combination works best for me atm, but will continue to experiment.

first of all, to OP, your sample size is way to small for rng not to play a significant factor..
Agree, will do 100 T2 cashes, and then make 100/100 comparison. Still small, but will satisfy my curiosity :)

Drop chance is = BUT gold/exp and torment level legs drops are not.

I can only hope this might easy the facepalm surely occurring at this moment...
Lol, word of mouth got me tricked :) I was really convinced that they have increased it, starting from torment 1. God, I was, like, 100% sure. Oh well, facepalms happen sometimes :) This thesis is totally irrelevant then.

@Bagstone: I have edited my first post, there is no difference whatsoever between normal and T1 drops (the result of testing, and blue post I missed :D )

    Normal vs Torment 1
I had some doubts about efficiency of bounty farming, so I have decided to test it. The sample is not huge, but I thought it was enough to give me some insight into time spent vs reward.

Conclusion: normal and torment 1 is completely the same, I have got 6 legendaries from normal and 4 from T1 cashes. As others have said, drop chance is increased starting at T2. So I will need to contact my T1 farming groups and tell them we were wasting time :D

Well, it's not like you can spam those meteors anyway. :) Also, you generally want a slow weapon with high damage range for expensive hard-hitters, like Meteor.

As for Blizzard - I'd replace Apocalypse with Frozen Solid. Yes, it doesn't benefit from +fire gear, but Blizzard is not the main damage dealer in your build anyway. On the other hand, Frozen Solid provides a reliable CC and a DPS boost if you pair it with Cold Blooded and/or EE.
Totally agree on frozen solid, it is much better rune, but didn't fit the theme for that build :)

And I have just saw the changes to arcanot, arcane regen changed into 4,5. So happy about that change :D And meteor changes... omg!

I personally dislike builds that have a significant DPS downtime due to high AP consumption. Which is why I think that the new grand vizier staff is a must have item for a signature-less Meteor build.
The new grand vizier is going to be amazing, but somehow, I have never liked slow attack animations of two handers :/

    Armageddon Wizard
This is a version of Firebird build, and it is not centered around MM/Mirrorball, but constant fire raining from the sky. I really like the theme and the fact it is totally viable option on torment 6. Tell me what you think about it, should I consider some other spells/items?

I have also tried hydra version, but as is known, it removes the dot from Firebird atm. Mirror images also (which is shame, because it is really apocalyptic when they cast alongside my wizard). Gale wind seems cool, but it is nor reliable enough.

    Quote from Pv3hard

I think this build actually has potential to build into something nice if you stack lightning dmg and and CDR, putting the lightning storm rune on blizzard and the lightning rune for hydra, or simply swapping hydra for the lightning runed Archon for melting those elites. You progression in tiered rifts will be hindered most by the speed that you can keep elites so therefore you'll need some kind of nuke for each other the elite packs.
Thanks for responses. I will definitely try out some lightning variant when I get some needed gear. This is a starting torment build, not meant to be played "as is" later, in greater rifts. Fire build seems superior atm (considering current ptr patch notes).

    Quote from Malentros

Since you can easily incorporate 3-4 elements into this build, I would imagine it synergizes very well with Tal Rasha's 6pc? And if you can incorporate Arcane then you can get that 3000%+ damage meteors (see next 2.1 PTR patch) every 8 seconds to help with elites.
I agree, Tal Rasha would be THE next upgrade for this build. Elites give me most problems.

Electrocute - Lightning blast should deal 2x more damage than other runes (sourcehttps://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/8770117237#7). So try it if there isn't any specific reason to use chain lightning.

Thanks for showing that blizzard can replace frost nova. It's seems better than frost nova for hydra builds, because it's ranged and can proc elemental exposure
Thanks for the tip. There is not a specific reason to use chain lightning, AOE dmg is already really nice, and Black Hole and Blizzard keep them in place.

Yea, I was kinda surprised when I saw you can almost permafreeze mobs with it. I guess some more arcane power generation, Tal Rasha 3 peace bonus and Templar would make it a bit more spamable, along with reduced cost of skills. Will need to toy a bit more with this build.

Hi! I really liked to play blizzard/ poison hydra/ shock pulse back in the days when D3 came out. So I wanted to try something similar for the seasons when they hit live servers. The idea is simple, black hole to pull everyone in, blizzard to freeze for a really nice duration and hydra for fire dps.

I also tried to make a tutorial for it, I am a newbie on that field, so if you have some suggestions, leave a comment :)

You are probably not aware of the fact, that to activate combination strike you dont need to use 2 spirit generators right? It works with 1 generator and 1 spender.

2 generators are absolute waste of time.
    It doesn't work that way.

Finally got some gear to test this build, and I am not happy at all :S My lightning monk is so much better atm. Will need to test it a bit more.

Yea, I have found a dmg on WotHF to be satisfying with this rune, but can not find another solid generating HOLY skill. I was considering deadly reach, foresight, as it is similar to what I have played in the past while toying with combination strike, but the physical dmg of the skill doesn't go well with this set, both efficiently and thematically.

I have not had a chance to test this build in T6 sadly, because it is still just in theory, until I get wanted gear on ptr. Will need to get all the peaces and test it then, maybe even make a video if it is viable or even semi viable, because I like the theme :)

Also, I forgot to mention, I will be using Mirinae and Gorok of Swiftness.

The idea is to use 2 spirit generators, buff generator dmg through depth diggers, simplicity's strength and combination strike, and generate as much spirit as possible, while spending it with mantra spam for Sunwuko explosions.

I will be using holy dmg skills that will supplement Sunwuko well. The build is not only offensive, but has some great defensive skills too. The idea is to run a good two hander, flying dragon mostly. The skills are nicely combined, letting me to use them all at the same time without breaking an attack with a bell or lashing tale kick for example. It doesn't need cooldown reduction whatsoever.

What do you think about it? Do you have some suggestions?
